Yes indeed. i did a research for PA i9305 and found this rom so i decided to make a thread for the PA fans and everybody else

What kind of timeframe are we looking at for peek to be added in?

Hard to tell, because for peek the rom has to be build by a pa-legacy team member and as long as that is not the case we wont get peek at all from what i know

Nice! Been waiting for this for a long time :'D
Thanks :>

Today I flashed this ROM, seems everything works fine. Is very smooth, better than CM. I hope that developers will not stop improve PA for i9305. I can't wait for HALO, it was the best feature

Hi would you recommend PA 4.2 or Resurrection?

well from what i experienced with both, resurrection is a lot more customizable then PA at the moment.
PA is sort of not complete yet maybe RR is also not complete but at the moment it gives you more options to set the rom to your liking.
if you ask me about the stability of the roms, i think PA is a bit more stable even though its in beta status.
in short i would recommend RR at the moment, up to you...

i'm not sure i9305 will be supported..
- the only PA 4.2 rom for this device is Beta1.. PA is now beta 4.
- i9305 is simply not listed in AOSPA_Legacy supported devices
As for Halo : https://plus.google.com/117062227500204357793/posts/AWNjUk8nx8H

gokussjx, the dev of this rom, is busy for the moment. He maintains PA for i9300, which also have Beta 1. I think the dev will update as soon as he can, at least for the i9300. As for the i9305, I saw this Beta1 update weeks ago when it was released, I tested it and it works good, didn't share it because it was too barebones imo and I really lost hope of this device getting properly supported. But, you never know...

where is the hybrid properties?

UPDATE 14/10: Doomsday94 released a new version of Jelly Bean and is built from Cyanogenmod sources! Thread link here: here
UPDATE 11/9: First of all, sorry folks for the late updates but it was kinda busy at my work. Thankfully I have some time to keep this thread up to date. If anyone wants help/keep this updated, just send me a PM .
Doomsday94 made a working and booting Jelly Bean build. There alot of things working! Check it out here. Or you can check out the working functions in the schedule below by VisualTech48.
UPDATE 17/7: vpupkin made a first try and JB is booting and there's some working stuff.
UPDATE: vpupkin already tried to build Jelly Bean for our device but not any progress. Reason: lots of bugs in the android source tree. Post is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28593563&postcount=1302
I created this thread because the Jelly Bean source code has just been released a few days ago, so the developers can now create JB roms from source.
Since nobody has tried to get JB on our device (except for vpupkin, post is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28593563&postcount=1302) that's why this thread. Vpupkin asked for a sort of "chatroom" for sharing work between developers, if you want you can do it here! Or by using the IRC channel on the bottom of the post.
Trying to keep this thread updated with all the Jelly Bean related news for our device (i9001 aka AriesVE). And of course we all want JB for our device!
I'm not a experienced dev myself but I often test ROMs for a friend who develops for the Galaxy S Plus. I can help testing JB if you want (PM me).

Ok, first try:
Working: wi-fi, gps, video-acceleration.
Non-working: audio. camera, gsm, maybe a lot of other apps ;-)
During this compilation I tried just to get bootable CM10, not bugless, so a lot of bugfixes from CM9 are not included.

Real awesome stuff vpupkin. If I'm not wrong,I think we are the fourth device to get jelly bean built from source.
This should be on the portal.

Performance? For me its really laggy at the moment, if you compare it with the videos of the nexus running jb.
of course it's laggy, what I meant was for the very first build and in comparison to cm9 animation is a bit laggy but apps starting faster in my opinion.
btw play store tells me a lot of apps ain't compatible with my device, e.g. facebook installs an very old version if I had something beyond android 2.2
Booting JB!! Buggy or not, its awesome...

It's booting! Yay!! great work guys! :good:
I think I'll just leave CM10 for a while, because there is no point to make a CM10 before you get major-bug-free CM9. There not much difference between these two android versions, (it would be relatively-easy port all the work) so I think I'll just try to help arco, oisis and other guys with their work, and when it's done it would be time for JellyBean.

we need a working camera , and then functional custom kernels and our ics is near perfect ( arco's is stock cm9 , vitalityy has no wifi , oisis no oc , crybert no oc )- also we don't have 3.x kernels .

Device: HLTE // Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (LTE)
Welcome to AOKP for the HLTE aka Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (LTE)(Unified)!
These are UNofficial builds (pure AOKP with some cherry-picks of open commits for now) maintained by scar45.
This ROM is tested and working great, with exception to NFC, about the only non-functional component. Hopefully a fix will appear soon (this applies to multiple AOSP-based ROMs for the Note 3).
Many thanks to @ProTekk and CM for their assistance with bringing AOKP to this device!
» Installation is simple:
If coming from another ROM or another major AOKP version, wipe data in recovery
Make sure you're using the latest CWM or TWRP
Flash ROM
Flash Google Apps (GAPPS)
Reboot
» The latest Changelog is always found on the Download site by clicking on the "Changelog »" link.
» Downloads are found at aokp.co/unofficial-builds »
* Be sure to download ROMs that are ONLY for "//SAMSUNG/HLTE"
» SOURCE on AOKP.co

» AOKP on Github
Enjoy!

Man... Loving AOKP so far! Everything working as it should, except known bugs.
Just one question that annoys me... Why can't the lockscreen wallpaper have the right orientation. I mean... When you try to set it it switches to a square shape instead of a vertical one.
Am I clear? lol
Thanks for reading.

You are coming in clear good sir! I have noticed this bug myself, however a lot of ROM Control is still a work-in-progress, hence AOKP for HLTE not being 'official' just yet. We're working on it, and if any fixes are made before an official build is released, I'll get another unofficial ready and post a quick update here.
Is there a setting for a circle battery icon? I did not see it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

anyone get the date and time to set automatically? i cant. i had to set it manually

Also are you a N9005 maintainer? I really hope the date and time reset issue and the network search function will get fixed one day.

Bluetooth
I've installed the rom on my GT-i9105p and works almost flawless. The only thing giving me troubles is the Bluetooth audio.
On 2 different earpieces the call starts with the earpiece after a couple of seconds the phone drops the bt and is back on the speaker.

@DeviousFusion
Nice work, I am on this ROM, testing, and found a bunch of unusual things. I will edit this post time to time.
Bugs found so far-
1. Browser FC
2. GP Services FC
3. Messaging App FC
Unusual things (not bugs really) found so far -
1. WiFi seems to work, but in the status bar, the arrows within the wifi icon don't come. However, in the quickpanel, arrows are there.
2. Portrait to Auto-Rotate icon change animation isn't present.
3. Facebook Lite (which works on CM12), experiences FC.
4. Everytime I install app from ES, after installation, ES restarts (but with same folder open as it was previously), so on tapping back, it exits.
Woooooo! ????
Thx Devious!
U will bring official to us?
Thx very very much!

FC's. I know. They are confusing to me too. I'm looking into those as we speak.

No AOSPA specific features at the moment. The team is still working on stabilizing the whole thing.

Pretty much yeah. Will update sometime with display fix and few call related fixes.
tks will be nice to get the 4.4 final or beta 7...
could have the exfat support added too and fix for the screen scan effect...
the AOSPA 4.4 beta 6 was a solid stable rom with a amazing memory manager much better than all LL that I have tried.
I think that LL will need much more time to became stable like the KK roms...
tks

Tried this build.
Previously, the ROM specific problems were mostly FC's. I am glad to say that most of them have been fixed. Only Browser FC persists.
Some more work, and the ROM is good to be officialised.
Thanks

..Agreed!, strangely it took four reboots (intentional, not crashes! ) to get the torch to turn off with icon but it's working fine now!
It's the same global LP bug with torch/camera. It's happening from time to time

That's a stupid question.....
Development isn't that fast at the moment so it's pointless to build many times. Plus i am on vacation now. So i'll build again when i get back home. In about 2 weeks.

Is it really carbon or vanilla (interface)? Just asking because there is no screenshots. I remember that my ville has problem with heating when I used Carbon but I really liked that ROM.
