Device: HLTE // Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (LTE)
Welcome to AOKP for the HLTE aka Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (LTE)(Unified)!
These are UNofficial builds (pure AOKP with some cherry-picks of open commits for now) maintained by scar45.
This ROM is tested and working great, with exception to NFC, about the only non-functional component. Hopefully a fix will appear soon (this applies to multiple AOSP-based ROMs for the Note 3).
Many thanks to @ProTekk and CM for their assistance with bringing AOKP to this device!
» Installation is simple:
If coming from another ROM or another major AOKP version, wipe data in recovery
Make sure you're using the latest CWM or TWRP
Flash ROM
Flash Google Apps (GAPPS)
Reboot
» The latest Changelog is always found on the Download site by clicking on the "Changelog »" link.
» Downloads are found at aokp.co/unofficial-builds »
* Be sure to download ROMs that are ONLY for "//SAMSUNG/HLTE"

Thanks! I miss AOKP!

Man... Loving AOKP so far! Everything working as it should, except known bugs.
Just one question that annoys me... Why can't the lockscreen wallpaper have the right orientation. I mean... When you try to set it it switches to a square shape instead of a vertical one.
Am I clear? lol
Thanks for reading.

You are coming in clear good sir! I have noticed this bug myself, however a lot of ROM Control is still a work-in-progress, hence AOKP for HLTE not being 'official' just yet. We're working on it, and if any fixes are made before an official build is released, I'll get another unofficial ready and post a quick update here.

Is there a setting for a circle battery icon? I did not see it anywhere. Thanks in advance.

I wait for this battery icon, for me this size and this look is the best:

anyone get the date and time to set automatically? i cant. i had to set it manually

You can set it with GravityBox Xposed module. First hide the stock battery icon in Rom control.

You might wanna fork the newer cm source as there are alot of new fixes since than.
Also are you a N9005 maintainer? I really hope the date and time reset issue and the network search function will get fixed one day.
Thanks for the good work!

Thank you. I just took what was already there, and amped it up a little. lol. This rom is primarily about stability, but I wanted a little more speed out of it. I do this for you guys.
Just wanted to report back I noticed some issues with NFC and the charging animation while off. Other then that its great. For a beta pretty good.
Ch ch ch ch Changes..

well from what i experienced with both, resurrection is a lot more customizable then PA at the moment.
PA is sort of not complete yet maybe RR is also not complete but at the moment it gives you more options to set the rom to your liking.
if you ask me about the stability of the roms, i think PA is a bit more stable even though its in beta status.
in short i would recommend RR at the moment, up to you...
i'm not sure i9305 will be supported..
- the only PA 4.2 rom for this device is Beta1.. PA is now beta 4.
- i9305 is simply not listed in AOSPA_Legacy supported devices

gokussjx, the dev of this rom, is busy for the moment. He maintains PA for i9300, which also have Beta 1. I think the dev will update as soon as he can, at least for the i9300. As for the i9305, I saw this Beta1 update weeks ago when it was released, I tested it and it works good, didn't share it because it was too barebones imo and I really lost hope of this device getting properly supported. But, you never know...
where is the hybrid properties?

Since it's currently in beta, I think PA they are adding features slowly, so if you've use PA in the past it'll look more like CM11 till they add more features in.

Hi, I have Kindle Fire HD and just recently some devs managed to get it made official with OTA support & from what I understand all devices not Nexus/Oppo are labeled & put under AOSPA-Legacy - http://goo.im/devs/aospa_legacy
I know it's early days yet, but thought I'd post about it, but it's completely your choice if you wish to look into getting official status, still not sure how it all works so don't know if it would even make a difference as I'm not sure how the AOSPA-Legacy are maintained.
Thanks again :good:
I will have a look soon, in the meantime i can just fork ParanoidOTA and modify it to pull the updates from my server.
Flashed fine...seemed stable..needs features though...when I think PA I think features...this has less features than cm at this point..great base though..hoping this evolves and gets the regular basic customizations added.

Hi,
Been using the Rom for a couple hours and I really like it. The only negative is the boot animation it seems very small. Otherwise it's a GREAT Rom!! :victory:
I tried this about a month ago and loved it. Glad you decided to continue support.

Just installed it on my T-Mobile Note 3 using TWRP 2.7.X without any issue. Really like that blue colored bubble wallpaper.
Will get into the setup and run it for a few days. So far so good. Thanks, Dev. :good:
Btw, I'm still new to Note 3. Does anyone have a recommendation on an overclock-able kernel geared towards performance and audio mods?
I don't really care much about battery life if it gets me through the day at least.

Here is a installer i put together with 6 different kernels you can pick from. 2 for AOSP and $ for TouchWiz.Just Pick one wipe cache afterwards.

Do we need to flash gapps
Sent from my LG-D959 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
You're the best aways!! Thanks for the FLO support Installing now
Is kexec-hardboot patch included in ROM's kernel? Want to try the ROM as my secondary in Multirom
awesome sauce! great to see this
Even though based on AOSP... only works with CM kernels!!!
Also, boot animation is squished and colors are off.
Other than that I'm fully up and running and the Rom is running great on my FLO!

Looks cool! Do we need to flash SuperSU or is it included?

Does floating windows means multi window or is it only for notifications?
Thank you. I was using C-Rom on my DNA and liked it so I will see how it goes on the Flo. I'm hoping I won't have any of the issues I was having.
Keyboard fc
Rom is feature rich but still extremely smooth. Nice work!

When streaming soundcloud with or with out Viper sound MD/drivers installed the volume is full strength for about 15 secs then drops halfway down till reboot. And its only streaming even with Xm radio. But power amp or NRG player works fine. Any ideas.

@TheDarkDefender is new Maintainer of Flo.
Hey guys! Its funny I myself am new to this rom and haven't tried it yet . @aways was the only one developing so I've jumped in to help him with the source.
I need time to run it and completely analyze what features it has, which are fully working and which are not. And so i need a couple of days for that and to work on the source as well.
New build probably after i familiarize myself with the rom and the community.
Meanwhile, enjoy the 12/5 release and Thank you all.

Glad to have you!!! I know aways is good...but I'm pretty sure he doesn't own a FLO so it would've been tough for him to test/debug. I assume you do own one right? I haven't really found any FLO specific bugs at all besides the boot animation. Running pretty well here

Thank you, that is great to hear.. And yes, I own a flo. ☺

Looks like kernel in ondemand mode works like performance=/ any one have that issue? Tablet work almost 95% in max CPU frequancy. That is the reason why it is so smooth. Another Rom use in normal for me one core(ex. Games and other hard work). This one uses 2 or 3 and at high frequency. Just watched video 10min takes 5% of charge. In sleep mode it lost 2% during night in compare with other RIMs that loose max 1% I even non.
Does any one have same problem?

Just wanted to mention when you start building for FLO, could you look into why only CM kernels are working...any time I flash an AOSP kernel I get weird colors and my device doesn't boot. Can only boot with stock kernel or CM kernel, no AOSP kernels work.
C-Rom isn't CM based! ...or is it? On my Mako, only AOSP kernels work, and CM ones don't.
Thanks!
