PhilZ Touch 4 Recovery 4.00-b21 port for GT-I9305.
Simply i port the PhilZ Touch 4 Recovery 4.00-b21 version to our devices.
I use the latest kernel from XXBMA6 and latest modules from it.

[Q] Photon Q - Good plan for upgrade CM from 10.2 to 11

Hello guys
I successfully installed CM 10.2 - with description on Cyanogenmod wiki site with CWM recovery.
(http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_xt897) it was few months ago, and now this branch is obsolete
Now i would like to move on CM-11-M12
i tryied to install with new guideline on cyanogen mod but it stops when i am showing the package at cwm - it is saying that package is not for this phone.
So main question - does somebody done something like that ? if so, please give me few main guidelines how to do that, or what i am doing wrong ?

Update your recovery - CWM is not very updated for the PhotonQ.
Use TWRP or OpenRecovery for a more updated recovery.

one more thing that should be noticed and it isn't written on tutorial :
for Photon q you should use moto_msm8960_jbbl because normal will not work, info found on CM blog post

We don't have many tutorials here. I spose you just gotta do a lot of reading before you understand all of the little idiosyncrasies with the device .

Problem installing ubuntu touch
I am not able to install ubuntu touch on my nexus 5 android 4.4.2 as rebooting in twrp recovery only shows --- Advanced -> MultiROM -> Add ROM
Choose "SailfishOS" as ROM type.
A big HELP plzzz.... Thank You.

Choose Android. Not Sailfish

Nexus 5 Ubuntu Touch
Can u plz elaborate bcoz after choosing android also im unable to install ubuntu on my nexus 5 as there are 2 zips and 1 zip select option after selecting android. in thread its mentioned that we need to go in recovery and then advanced -- multirom -- add rom -- choose rom type -- ubuntu touch but im getting sailfish os as a choose rom type. And ofcourse after selecting android also its not booting and is stuck in google logo itself....... plzz help.. thank you....

If I'm working on the V8 it will be more updated! Dolvi and another application to improve functionality will also be compatible with Oreo and bug fixes i.e. applications are third party! There will also be captures more lists and multi download link
