Yes, I am a newbie here at XDA. I'm sorry for any misleading information that I have given you. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

The deodexed roms for LTE and 3g are not P5210. They are P5220 and P5200 respectively. Since this is a SGT3 10.1 thread, you might want to either preface that information or remove it. Just so someone does not by accident try and load those onto the P5210. Not sure what will happen if they do.

That is because it was not rooted. You can go to this site and download Root.Zip. Then you will flash root.zip and your device will be rooted and it will have SuperUser or SuperSU, I don't remember which.

Ingredients of a Hacked Phone
There's nothing really special what are the needed hacks/modifications
in order to have a really cool hacked Android device/phone but here it is:
Custom recovery to flash the needed components/hacks for your phone.
Needs to be rooted to take full control of your Android device.
Nice customizable custom ROM flashed into your device instead of a bloated boring stock one.
Disclaimer/Precautionary Measures
Disclaimer: I, the author of this thread does take full responsibility of your phone's damages and modifying that is important to the phone (eg. rooting) will tamper your phone's warranty which means you will blame yourself for what you've done on your device because of the beyond coverages that the warranty will not take advantage of. Plus, take the risk of it if you are willing to modify your device.
Precautionary Measures: Before making a modifications to your device, make sure to do following:
Backup first your files especially the internal storage to ensure that the files are safe.
Check first your device if there are no problems
That's all!

Hi Tim,
I will be getting this tablet for my wife soon, so I am doing some early preparations before the tablet arrives.
As a start, i am going over XDA threads, forums, reviews, etc... and run into your thread. I will probably flash this ROM first, but before I do that; Of course I need to flash TWRP,
can you point me where I can download TWRP for this tablet?
p.s: it would probably good idea to add TWRP download and install instruction on your OP post above

Head over to the Dev thread in general. page 32 and post number 316. Unzip it and flash via flashify. Keep in mind, this ROM is stock and full of bloat. You can flash this or just stay on the rooted one you'll have already. This is mainly for those who try modding theirs and "brick" their device.

I didn't build the v410 TWRP and shouldn't be responsible for posting someone else's work in my thread. That being said, I would love to get the source from the person that did build TWRP and build it myself, maintain regular builds, as well as start and maintain a thread so it's easier to find and get support for.

Correct, this is only for the 7.0 lte model. I had to choose a forum to put it in and since we are all working here I just chose 10.1 forums. Sorry for the confusion
Just got my new LG G Pad 7.0 LTE v410.
Want to install this ROM via TWRP or CWM.
Can anyone please guide the steps to install the custom recovery on this tablet and the download links to the custom recovery files. Looks like without the custom recovery I cannot move forward to install this ROM.
Thanks for your help.

1. root your tablet using : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/root-root-lg-g3-easily-purpledrake-lite-t2821000 - this is LG G3, but it works here too.
2. Install superSU, make sure update supersu binary
3. Flash TWRP_2.8.5.0_LG_V400/410 - install flashfy from playstore, and then download TWRP_2.8.5.0_LG_V400/410, unzip and copy .img fle to our tablet, and using flashfy, point to TWRP_2.8.5.0_v410_bumped.img file, flash....now you should have TWRP on your tablet.
4. Copy @timmytim 's ROM to your tablet, and flash it...
Worked great, Thanks.

[5.1.x] [SM-T520] CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightlies for the Tab Pro 10.1 Wifi (picassowifi)

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.0.x (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Instructions
First time flashing CyanogenMod 12.0 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash CyanogenMod.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.

full gapps installation ultra easy, ultra fast, really no problem
it's really a pleasure, i know i'm not a hard user
to keep myself very happy i do a full wipes, and use "easy battery calibration", & a backup
& perhaps "Black Hole Debloating"
many thanks

Can I get some help. I cant get it to install. I get an failed executing binary in zip. This is supposed to work with sm-t900 (Samsung Galaxy Tab 12.2) also?
Same question as above. I've got a Tab 12.2 and I'd like to install this.
Hi two boys
what is your recovery
i think this rom is dedicated to 520
regards
Hello
Does the 5.1 xposed work with the 12.1 build.?
hi boy
there is a specific 5.1 xposed zip (zip marked 5.1)
it's ok on myb 520
regards
Thank you. I just ask because on my phone it does not work with 5.1 and I flashed the 5.1 version. But good to know. Thank you
Ok I flashed the 19/4 build, 5.1 gapps and the 5.1 xposedmodul.. After setting up everything I installed the xposed installer, picked my modules and restarted.. Now I hang on bootlogo bootloop... Same as on my phone.. How to solve this?
This would be a good time to remind you all that I do not accept bug reports when running xposed. Xposed is a bad idea and the changes it make to a running system are never properly tested and vetted like proper changes to CyanogenMod.
Nice and smooth, had a problem with apex launcher after dirty flashing that was fixed after a clean install.
Thanks a lot crpalmer :good:

I haven't rooted yet. I was waiting for awhile for Samsung to upgrade to 5.0, and I'm done waiting.
@crpalmer, do you know if this will work on a 12.2 tablet?
Stuck in TWRP
TWRP v2.8.6.0 won't finish install of the 4/18 nightly...stuck on "Patching system image unconditionally" and will still be there after 45 minutes or so. Trying clean flash (I try not to dirty flash if I don't have to), and no issues with CM 11 or 12 before this. Also, ADB sideload is not recognizing the tablet anymore, so no luck trying to sideload so far eitther. Any ideas? Thanks in advance everyone!
I think there is a Problem with the Nightlies. When looking to Jenkins I see the builds were successful yesterday and today, but there were no download or changelog provided. When looking to the console Output of the build there are some strange warnings about possible DNS spoofing at the end. Would be nice if you could take a look at this.
many thanks
regards
hello
i installed, i install all nightlies with each time the last twrp with no problem
i think it's a problem of wipes, dowloading, ..
regards
oh, sorry if you misunderstood me, the only cm12.1 nightly from 04/18 is working perfectly fine for me. i meant there is a Problem with building newer nightlies since then.

Are you using the latest version of GApps or the old version ?
If using the old version immediately update to the latest version. And do not remove the Play Store, because if you delete the application then you will not be able to login google account.

PERFECTLY WORKING on my little Samsung (SM-G130M). I downloaded your work, did some research and finally took courage and dared to install it. Everything happened surprisingly well. Thank you so much!
PD: I uploaded some pictures on imgur but since i'm new here on XDA Forums i can not post outside links in this message. If someone needs to see that this ROM works on the G130M Single SIM version of the device, please send me a private message. Thanks
Post update: Few of months after i installed this ROM my phone passed away. I do not think that it's had something to do with this ROM particularly but since i'm still being a newbie here, if you have the same phone that i had last year and you wanna flash this on your phone please try to contact Ivan_Meler or someone who has a better understanding oh this kind of subjects than me. Good luck! (23/04/2020)
SM-G130HN?
Has anyone tried this on the SM-G130HN? I do not exactly know the differences between the two variants, but I assume, they can't be too different, right?
EDIT: Worked flawlessly, haven't experienced any negatives since flashing this ROM.
SGY1 versus SGY2
does it work on the original Samsung "Galaxy Y" model number " GT-S5360 " , Y for "Young" not just the "Young 2" ?
colloquially the "SGY1" in contrast to the SGY2.

This is a alpha build, also from the LineageOS side, there are typical functions still missing, so don't install it if you want a completely stable and completed ROM and don't report my already listet bugs!
Attention:
Sometimes it needs another reboot to find the sim card.
When you have BitGapps installed, you have to reflash them after every update!
Here you can see how far everything is working for now.
Spoiler: Whats working
Boot
Audio
Bluetooth
Graphics
Cameras
Sensors
Wifi
GPS

much more...
Spoiler: Whats not working

Spoiler: How to improve GPS
You could use a gps.conf from https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i for your location and replace /vendor/etc/gps.conf.
Or you try GPS Server Optimizer app for a faster 3D fix.
For both methods you need root rights.
I would recommend to use microG instead of BitGapps,
here you can find the installation instructions:
Spoiler: microG instructions
Download Magisk 24.1 and flash it via TWRP (yes, flash the APK file), reboot
Open Magisk and update the App (and do a reboot if it's asking)
Enable Zygisk in Magisk
Download and install microG installer in the Magisk manager, reboot
Download and install safetynet-fix in the Magisk manager, reboot
Check with a safetynet checker app and you should pass
Do you like my work?
Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware.

Does the tmobile s3 need a different rom? I'm upgrading all my old phones I just found. You happen to be working on all the phones I have.

I'm sorry to tell you that the T-Mobile S3 has a different chipset (Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960) so this is not compatible.
This device never reached a higher android version than 7, I would love to bring Android 13 to this device, but I don't own this model.

Not really, this would slow down the process too much.
Hi there. I stumbled over this thread? Are compiled versions of the Rom available? Just for testing a nonrooted device? Cheers

Can you give some instructions to build the Rom on my own?
Do you think I could just swap boards? The boards look the same.

I fear that the mainboard could not fit into the case, but idk, you could give it a try.
I asked a seller on ebay and they said it doesn't work.
Is porting to a different chipset like starting over on port?

I would have to start from the last developement state.
But at first I would make the device tree's for A13 ready, fix the build (there could be many problems), make the kernel ready and so on...
There would be a lot of work todo.
Hello,
the volume of voice recordings (e.g. whatsapp or signal) has always been too low for me in Lineage OS. In order for my interlocutors to understand me properly, I always had to increase the volume by changing the mixer_paths.xml in /root/vendor/etc/. Here is the video:
Unfortunately this file does not exist in Lineage OS 20. Does anyone know how to increase the volume of voice recordings here?
I'm so grateful you have brought my N8000 and i9305 back to life!
My children are learning and playing on my N8000 tablet. I have donated for N8000.
I re-wiped and installed your latest on i9305
20.0-20221108-HTML6405-i9305.zip
MicroG
Disabled animations
Android UI is running fast!
I tested YouTube app. It works but drops some frames on 360p, and any higher quality levels it drops a lot of frames.
scrcpy working nicely (not used with YouTube of course)
I'm still testing etc. It looks like i9305 will be useful with your ROM
