Update for Europe available ? OTA or Kies ?

I'm checking every morning for an OTA update (Europe, German ROM) , none so far .......
Is there an update on Kies ? ( Have no Kies anymore since SGSIII)

I checked with Kies yesterday evening but no update were available.

Tx for the info....... Europeans always have to be patient with Updates ....... :angel:

That's strange... I got no update offer via OTA, but connecting my German Note 10.1 to Kies, I was immediately offered the updated and it was installed by Kies successfully.

Got LH2 over Kies for my DBT note(got it in Austria, but unlike the tab 1 not ATO). Dated August 13th.

Just bought the sgn10.1 and got the update here in russia ))

No update here in Norway, NEE code.. tested skies and ota.

Installed Kies ........ grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, connected my SGN 10.1, said: I have latest version XXALGA ............
So where' s the difference to Germany ?

There is an official out right now,if you are waiting for your specific country update,who knows? I have a canadian n8010 and sammobile dosen't even show a firmware at all on their site,ICS or JB so i'm getting these official updates the long way.If you are waiting for OTA it could be forever in the world of electronics.Do a nandroid backup(that way you will have a copy of exactly what you started with)then you can do anything after and always be able to go back if and when an official for your country is released.Hope this helps.

There's now two full 411 builds for the n8010 wifi note10 on sammobile.
The lk9 dbt rom contains the csc for the uk devices.
Regions supported are : Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
It works fine on my btu (uk) device without changing csc
There is also a ll3 rom for china/hk which is a lot newer build, not tested it though.

Is the update coming soon???? As it now sais access to the software update is provided to the users in which they request it try again later. Summit along them lines it sais that

That just means the servers delivering the OTA update are overloaded. In the past when I have got that message on my SGS3, I have then managed to update through Kies. Otherwise, you may just need to wait a day or two till the servers are less loaded.

My phone came with 'GHFJ02' firmware in CAM FW. And for some reason, who has this update, are having problem with the news ported's (CM 10, CM 10.1)
When we try to open the camera, shows the error:
Can't connect to the camera.
That's why I need to know if this firmware change something there..

but you know that you can change youre camera firmware right?
the Phone FW you cannot but the camera FW you can.

But doesn't have the model of camera.
Anyway, codeworkx solved the problem for me in his ROM.

You are lucky.
CM10.1 is under 4.2.2
The firmware of this thread is under 4.1.2.

Is it just me or is jellybean better???

Kitkat seems slower,has no text reflow and I get way slower data speeds on kitkat,people are reporting losing network connection and it feels really buggy.

I think jelly bean is better ! Kit kat seems a bit slower

KitKat brought nothing groundbreaking anyway

Well, I don't know of is related to kitkat, but yesterday my phone got really slow like crawling slow. I checked what background apps were running and I see that all of them were restarting nonstop. I rebooted the phone and all is back to normal. I can't explain what happened.

I am not rooted, my bootloader is locked to and I do not want to change it. If there is possibility to acces the OTA firmware file without above, please provide me a solution to do this.

You would need to unlock, root, downgrade to 6.0 and wait for the update again.

Be nice if someone manages to find a link to the complete rom for downloading...

as i see, it got new kernel from march 3

There's even newer emoji in N Preview 2 that works on this device.

I'm trying not to root this time so no custom ROMs or previews. Will just have to wait until it's released.

Have you got Bluetooth on? My battery was seriously awful. I mean like 2h screentime max. Noticed that Bluetooth was sucking the life out of it even though nothing was connected now I'm getting 6h or more. I'm roaming in Europe at the moment, using loads of data for maps, translation, trip adviser, etc. Plus watching TV shows I've missed, spamming Instagram, Facebook, etc and listening to Podcasts and Google Play. Oh and playing candy crush. Battery is easily lasting the day.
