My phone came with 'GHFJ02' firmware in CAM FW. And for some reason, who has this update, are having problem with the news ported's (CM 10, CM 10.1)
When we try to open the camera, shows the error:
Can't connect to the camera.
That's why I need to know if this firmware change something there..

Thank you anyway, guys!

As long as its called N8000 its the same device where ever it come from. but if its called N8000T for example then its not the same. I flashed firmwares from China, India, Philipines, Germany, Sweden and so on. I even flashed thoose carrier firmwares and as long as its a N8000 firmware its ok.
good luck

no.... MH1(PGU) is latest firmware than MH1 china and MG7 and its having the highest changelist for i9500
I will never understand the reason Samsung refuses to give global updates. I doubt server costs, CSC and language & modem is a geniune issue.
Can anyone confirm any bloatware apps with firmware like the china ones?

I flashed this now, coming from MG9. Can't comment on stability or battery life yet, will try post some feedback tomorrow or something. I can say that the firmware is "Claro" branded, and comes with an 14 extra crapware! Gonna have to root and get rid of that crap!

I was quite unhappy about how slow it was on MG9. I think this feels quicker. Should have done some testing with a stopwatch or something.
Actually just testing it now, I'm pretty sure it's quicker. (hope this isn't my mind playing tricks on me) haha

Compared to Thai rom, I dunno... Never used Thai. But compared to BMG9, I've noticed the following...
1 Battery Drain
Seems worse. I've had my phone off charge for 2hrs this morning, lost only 4% battery, but screen only on for 4mins. Android OS eating 43%... But ROM may still be "settling in" (I'm not even sure if this happens in reality, but I've read something along those lines before).
2. Camera appears to open faster
3. Overall the general responsiveness of the ROM feels to be improved.
4. The auto-brightness curve appears to have changed. It is much improved on my phone, think the sensor is functioning better
Can't comment on too much more at this stage. I'd be interested to see if someone can verify my findings...

Just got the OTA update in The Netherlands (N9005 unbranded), 29MB.
No camera software update (I'm hoping that you can switch off continuous focus adjustment in a future update), so I'll continue using Snap Camera HDR
The handwriting keyboard (the keyboard you choose in keyboard settings, not the keyboard that you can choose when hovering your pen over the screen) still mixes things up if you let it interpret written words one by one, so I'll continue Stylus Beta for that.
Well, "improved stability" is still ok, I guess. I'll wait for the software improvements in a bigger update.
With the new firmware I haven't the boot loop anymore: Not it freezes at the Samsung Logo
Thanks

G920i 6.0.1 Update

Hi guys.
I have an 128gb S6 SM-G920i on 5.1.1 Australia Vodafone, baseband G920IDVU3DOL4 and I would like to get a 6.0.1 FW from Sammy (http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G920I/).
I am using the phone in Ireland so I could not find an Irish or UK 6.0.1 FW to put on it. Loads of other 6.0.1 like Brazil, Chile, India, etc but I'm not sure what effect that will have if I install those.
Any suggestions on how I can get 6.0.1 on my S6 or do I need to wait for Samsung?
I have my s6 from Brazil that came to me with ZTO 5.11 . First I flashed inu 5.1.1 after that I got Ota for inu 6.0.1 and I did the update with no issues at all.
Now I flashed TTT because inu was a bit laggy. Not happy with battery at TTT tomorrow will flash ARO.
So I think you're safe to flash the firmware you want. But check first if is the correct model firmware

The language depends on which one you choose after installing. Some firmwares have all languages and some have a few.
But all them have English. After flashing firmware , the phone boot and you have to set the language, accounts, fingerprints etc
Then everything on menus will show the language you've chosen

You can make a backup of all you want with an application call smart switch you should install it on the pc.
Then make a factory reset. Flash the firmware and if you can make a factory reset again
The restore everything with smart switch
