Hi guys, just want to confirm if my note can flash other country's firmware,
my current CSC is KSA
baseband XXLGA (i think, will double check again later)
Firmware N8000XWALG7
i search in sammmobile and its from Saudi Arabia, now if i want to flash an Asian firmware, is it possible or will doing that brick my note? I'm from the Philippines and i dunno why i got the Saudi Arabia version of the note.
Is Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines firmware compatible with my model? Under settings > about it says N8000.

As long as its called N8000 its the same device where ever it come from. but if its called N8000T for example then its not the same. I flashed firmwares from China, India, Philipines, Germany, Sweden and so on. I even flashed thoose carrier firmwares and as long as its a N8000 firmware its ok.

Thanks, so if i want to flash which file should i start? Coz i see some updates are only 60-70mb, i also see 90+mb?

That one is update from OTA services.
I nver use it since my galaxy s time.
If u want to change the country, u shld go to www.sammobile.com
Choose the firmware u like, and install from Odin pc.

I'm a proud owner of a Note 10.1, and on December I got the official OTA Jelly Bean 4.1.1 update for my Note. Is there any official 4.1.2 update yet? I think my region is set as UK.
My CSC: N8000XXBLJ2 - what region is this?

Not seen any notification of it being available yet. I am looking forward to it as it should fix the exynos exploit, which is like a Sword of Damocles hanging over every Note 10.1

It's not available yet, however it is for the 8000 and 8013 so hopefully it wont be long.

You mean in other regions? Or did you mean 8010? Because I'm eager to know this as well, the new SNote seems so much better than the 4.1.1 version!

Yeah but that is for N8010. I'm asking if there is any OTA for N8000 (official, UK), regarding 4.1.2 and Exynos fix.
And what is so different in S-Note from both 4.1.1 and 4.1.2?

Only Germany and Kenya within the last week.
Perhaps your are referring only to the generic N80xx series, rather than the specific one that this thread is about?

(Just noticed. The Kenya update is very old and has quite a low changelist number. Wonder why they have been sitting on it?)

My phone came with 'GHFJ02' firmware in CAM FW. And for some reason, who has this update, are having problem with the news ported's (CM 10, CM 10.1)
When we try to open the camera, shows the error:
Can't connect to the camera.
That's why I need to know if this firmware change something there..

the Phone FW you cannot but the camera FW you can.

CM10.1 is under 4.2.2
The firmware of this thread is under 4.1.2.
Has anyone tried this I9500XWUBMG7. Seems to have a later build number than the latest India INU firmware

Hi,
I am living in Thailand. I just checked right now and "the number of roll-out updates has been exceeded." It means that i have to update via KIES like last time.
I will install and report.
Cool! I'm going to try it tonight. Will be interested to hear back if its a stock rom without any extra apps, and if the UI is quick

I installed it last night and really no noticeable difference to me between MG7 and the latest India FW. Been super busy with work so haven't put it through it's paces yet. Will report back when I test it more.
This firmware is a bit faster than others, and the smearing issue is almost fixed!!!!
the best firmware so far.. i like the look of the bounce effect in the volume levels, i feel the device more cold, more fast
Any one kind enough to post this somewhere else other than hotfile please?

It is has the Myanmar Language support...That's all changes:laugh:
The only difference I have noticed is my phone seems to be running a bit warmer. I'll keep it... I was on the Indian rom before.

XAR is Cellular South which is a USA one.
I've had problems with it though so I switched to the german one.
