This is my attempt at a Sense 6.0 port for the Motorola Moto G
There are plenty of ROMs for the Moto G, but any ports are nowhere to be found. So this is my try to remedy that. This ROM is made via the ROM-Porter Tool found here. I am not a developer, so any help is and will be greatly appreciated. This ROM is based on the latest CyanogenMod 11 nightly for the falcon, as well as a stock deodexed ROM from the HTC M8.
Status: Boots to Bootlogo and stays there/ROM needs to be slimmed down to fit in system.

@VictoriousShooter have you gotten past fastboot reason fall through normal boot mode I tried porting and I failed on 3 different ports(xperia(x2)(sense)

Thats why it has nothing under "What does & doesn't work"

Have you symlinked or increased system partition size or will I have to debloat it

I don't know what symlinked means, but I've already attempted to debloat it by removing the demo software and the unneeded extra IME apks, but I don;t know the system partition size for the Moto G.

the system size is about 954 this rom is over a gig ill debloat it more. it did not flash because its too big for our moto g system

Thank you for the information. I deleted the extra IMEs and some of the Google apps, but apparently it wasn't enough. I don't know which apps are safe to remove, and which apps are essential for the device to operate.
But at least it was deodexed, so that helped.

Not sure either but if this is not even sure to boot its best to get rid of gapps and anything HTC media like music gallery camera then add it later once it boots

Yes. It currently is the only device with sense 6, and has soft keys enabled.

boot into recovery
wipe system
wipe data if coming from another rom

LTE doesn't work on this rom even with the correct APN(it comes with an HSPA+ one by default).
bummer, this rom seems smoother

Just flashed and I have no LTE either. My apn says Cingular and I'm not sure if that's right as I am at&t? Any ideas guy's?

You need to add the proper APN. Thus us stock so I did not add the updated apns

Hello and welcome to the unofficial thread for Baked Kit Kat 4.4.2 D801. Thought I would try and fill a gap here, I am a device maintainer for Team Baked on the LS980 (Sprint) but am also going to be contributing as device maintainer for the d800,d801,d802, eventually the international and d803 versions aswell. I WILL NOT be maintaining for the VS980 as Travis is maintaining that device already. I don't have this device so you guys are going to have to be my testers to make sure everything seems to be in working order.
How To Install:
Make A Nandroid Backup In Your Recovery
Wipe Data/System/Cache/DalvikCache
Install Rom
Install Gapps
Reboot
As I have asked in my other threads, please don't have 20 people reporting the same issues if there are any, it's just annoying!
Update: 2/2/2014 - After spending a few days sorting out issues, we come one step closer to finding a solution to our problems. I was having an issue with my test build getting through Setup Wizard but after noticing the problem, there should be no problem.
We simply just need to update out beta gapps is all.

Loving it for the tethering alone. Going to restore my TiBu and ride it out. Just put down 600mb and not a single change against my tether allotment on Tmo..

it will work.
It is not working. Google edition has .qmg file and not zip. Like Samsung Roms. It's just black screen now.

I will try on tw rom now, it worked on cm11

Yes in CM it would work. But Samsung ROM don't use zip for boot animation. And Google edition use the same as Samsung.

It's zip file again. That won't work. Did you try it on tw ROM? That first zip file somehow broke my phone to go to sleep. So I had to reflash the ROM. I would like to have qmg file so I can put it into system/media. That would be the best way.

I give my original bootanimation file back and now even that won't work. It must be something in your zip that brakes boot animation that even original one don't work any more. Refreshing time again.

ot make ur older bootanimation work u have to place bootanimation.bin from ur rom to system/bin

Note that it says "may", so there's a 50 percent chance that it'll be fine... after all, it's just g apps. And, you should install the rom first and then the gapps.

It flash then the gapps acting up I clear data and clear cache force and I remove my account and add my account it takes forever for the line to move basically play store won't let me download nothing
