I was wondering if there any .jar music player for for simple j2me devices that is capable of play/pause with single press of headphone button and change track by pressing double or triple of the button like the poweramp or alike android music players.
Looking forward to your answers, thanx. :good:

This must be such a 'native' player which stays in pause when user of device answers on incoming or make outgoing call.
It must play *.APE and *.FLAC and has simple interface:
playlist + buttons "Play", "pause", "skip forward", "skip backward", "shuffle" and "repeat all/current" + position of playing of current track with possibility of rewind + volume control.
That's all
Who dares?
if you check the Hero app section there is an app there that may fit your needs.
I've use that player. The 'rooted' device is NECESSARY - it's may be difficulty for ordinary users. This player plays track with the same volume in any ways of use of the device.
I'll try to tell my wishes to the author of that player but i'm not sure that it's possible because the player is JAVA application.
Thanks for advise - player is on support.

CyanogenMod will play FLAC files natively.
Here's an idea that many sane people not using the standard headset might find useful - when the device is locked and is playing music, to use the HOME / WIN / BACK buttons as PREV / PAUSE / NEXT music player controls. Should be theoretically possible, what do the experts think?
either that or controling music from lock screen.
I am even up for a better music player that can use letters on the right (like iphone) scrolling too much is a big pain really
In Winamp, is there a way to get it to shuffle a playlist? Hard to believe that feature isn't in there somewhere.
I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, but winamp for android is not nearly as good as it is for pc. The android version is very basic.
Hey, go into your playlist and hit your menu button, shuffle On comes up in the first pop-up options
Hello all,
Please forgive me if this question isn't in the right toptic.
I'm just wondering if there is any video player app which has functions like desktop version of GOM player, that we can move to next/previous frame/second by simply pressing arrow keys, sadly its mobile version doesn't support.
Can we do the same with volumn keys on android phones/tablets?
Thank you very much
for learning language from audio mp3 I need a player app for Android that plays a few seconds back after resuming from pause (exactly like Voice Aloud Reader does with reading text) - and ideas please ?
Did you mean this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad ? it shows as video player...
Never mind my question as I've just found all the option you mentioned - thanks for precise guidelines I'll have to use ff/rew buttons on smartphone as those on headset for volume up/down won't work here but it's bearable
