Video Player that enables using volumn keys to jump to previous/next frame/second? - General Questions and Answers

Hello all,
Please forgive me if this question isn't in the right toptic.
I'm just wondering if there is any video player app which has functions like desktop version of GOM player, that we can move to next/previous frame/second by simply pressing arrow keys, sadly its mobile version doesn't support.
Can we do the same with volumn keys on android phones/tablets?
Thank you very much

Can anybody develope usefull player of lossless audio formats?

This must be such a 'native' player which stays in pause when user of device answers on incoming or make outgoing call.
It must play *.APE and *.FLAC and has simple interface:
playlist + buttons "Play", "pause", "skip forward", "skip backward", "shuffle" and "repeat all/current" + position of playing of current track with possibility of rewind + volume control.
That's all
Who dares?
if you check the Hero app section there is an app there that may fit your needs.
I've use that player. The 'rooted' device is NECESSARY - it's may be difficulty for ordinary users. This player plays track with the same volume in any ways of use of the device.
I'll try to tell my wishes to the author of that player but i'm not sure that it's possible because the player is JAVA application.
Thanks for advise - player is on support.
2admins: topic may be deleted.
CyanogenMod will play FLAC files natively.

[Q] A bit backdated

I was wondering if there any .jar music player for for simple j2me devices that is capable of play/pause with single press of headphone button and change track by pressing double or triple of the button like the poweramp or alike android music players.
Looking forward to your answers, thanx. :good:

[Feature Request] Bluetooth Mouse support

Hello,
In MX Player, could you please add some configurable settings for during connection of a Bluetooth Mouse on Android.
Especially for the Mouse scroll wheel.
Currently using the scroll wheel does nothing during playback of a video in MX Player.
Some Mouse options:
-scroll wheel up/down to change volume
-scroll wheel navigate video left/right
.... Plus more custom mouse options

Mouse wheel input will be supported on next version.
Thanks for proposal.
Thank you so much for adding Mouse wheel input support.
I tested it in the released version and it works wonderfully I can now use the Scroll wheel on my mouse to change volume if I enable that option available to me (a nice Windows desktop media player feeling). Thanks again

[Bug Report] Seeking and navigation with remote control is odd

Device Manufacturer & Model : Kogan Agora Smart TV
Android Version : V4.2.1
Rom Info : Build: Konka/full_konka_6369_AP/konka_6369_AP:4.2.1/JOP40D/V2.0.0:userdebug/dev-keys
Detailed Problem Description : Post edited for clarity
Playing a video file using V1.7.38 Pro: I press the right button and the OSD interface appears, it does seek forward, but only when I press the button once - and then the focus appears on the pause icon.
When Playing an audio file the cursor moves in odd ways - such needing to use down to the seek bar and then up to get to the pause icon.
Steps to reproduce the problem :
Edit: see the post lower down for more information about how it does work here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63961378&postcount=4
I can reproduce this,
Unfortunately using a remote with mx player is a struggle... example accessing the menu!

If it would nice if there was a tool to show which remote keypresses are used, and need to be included.
Is there such a tool?
I do find the menu problem too though, as when launching MX Player, there is no way to open any menu item with the remote control, and I need to use a mouse.
The remote control for my Android TV has odd issues, and can't control MX Player well - such as it can't play/pause a video.
The following does work with my remote control:
When playing music the OSD is on screen and I can navigate to the pause/play icon.
The seek control works and will bring up the OSD - but that OSD has no control icons/pause icon.
The Up/down buttons work
I can also bring up the control menu (with play, tools, help etc on it...).
Is there an app to show remote control keypress codes, so I can provide information about which buttons function with my remote control?
That may help clarify the problem...

looking for mp3 player app with playback upon pause

for learning language from audio mp3 I need a player app for Android that plays a few seconds back after resuming from pause (exactly like Voice Aloud Reader does with reading text) - and ideas please ?
Did you mean this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad ? it shows as video player...
Never mind my question as I've just found all the option you mentioned - thanks for precise guidelines I'll have to use ff/rew buttons on smartphone as those on headset for volume up/down won't work here but it's bearable
