[Q] format /system

hello .
before i beginn sorry for my bad english......
i have a problem with my htc one s with the 4S cpu
i want to install cm10 and there go something wrong:
i have root it with htcdev , flash the r3-ville-superboot and then i flash the cm-10.0.0-ville.zip with clockwork-touch frome playstore.
the htc boot into the cm10 bootscreen and stay there.
after 15 minutes i turned off and go to the recovery again and there i formated my /system and my sdcard accidfential.
now when i start the device i only come to the recovery and to the bootloader.

with htc one s All-in-one kit i can unlook and look the device.
RUU_Ville_U_ICS_40_s_HTC_europe_2.32.401.5_radio_1.06es.50.02.31_10.09a50.04L_rlease<-275655_signed.exe doesent work.
says::::::search for the right version of RUU:::::
i cant mount my sdcard or usb device.
it is posible to rescue my device with some tool or tips?
how can i copy a cm10.zip to my sdcard and mount it again?

[Q] Stuck On Recovery And Phone Wont Boot

I had an unlocked bootloader and the following stats :
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.14.0002
RADIO- 0.19as.32.09.11_2
OpenDSP- v29.1.0.45.0622
eMMC-boot
I tried to flash the clockwork recovery.. and the phone would not boot at all.. it is stuck at the original stock recovery screen. I have tried a couple of different methods. But i am not sure why none of them are working out. And another way i though of updating it was to flash all rom files using fastboot. but i cant seem to find a system image.
What should i do ?

im not sure why u choose CWM over TWRP. since CWM has issue with Evita. If you want to ask some people in xda-forum, they might able to solve your problem step by step and how to fix your phone.
my suggestion is to flash TWRP from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1677447
im a noob, so i cant help you futher than that. hope that helps.

try running this command in fastboot "fastboot erase cache" also you can only flash recovery if you have unlocked bootloader. rohan32 cwm is pretty good but you can mount usb though so i would stick with twrp for now.

[Q] Softbricked (Unlocked Bootloader, S-ON, HBOOT 2.22)

While in TWRP I formatted and cleared my system. So now I have no OS on my device.
It is a mistake I won't make again. There is no need to tell me how stupid it was.
I have tried a lot of things people have posted here, but I can't seem to get anything to work.
Here's my HBOOT:

except using adb push instead of USB OTG.
On TWRP 2.7.0.0, I had a problem where it said that /system could not be mounted. I could not mount it manually
So I switched to CWM_6.0.4.3. It says it installs fine, but then when I restart, it removes CWM from recovery (I have to flash it again) and it gets stuck at the white htc screen when I boot (even if I flash the boot img of the zip)
I've used adb push to put this on the sdcard:

Both V_2 and V_3 seem to do fine in CWM until about 40% on the loading bar where they get stuck indefinitely
I tried RUU but I got error 99, which I think is because I have S-ON.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

From what I read here, Hboot 2.22 uses the new partition layout.
Please read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2713849 how to determinate if you have it or not.
With the new layout, you have to use TWRP 2.7.0.5

what pg58img.zip file did you try to flash?
just flash a custom rom from recovery and you should be fine
by the way what version of cwm do you have?

and install kitkat rom

remove your imei and serial number

you misunderstood me
boot your device into bootloader
select fastboot and connect it to pc
then from pc go to your adb/fastboot folder
press shift + right click and select open command window here
you will see a command window
type in that window fastboot getvar all
post whatever you see except imei and s/n

I mistakenly wiped everything from my phone(went into recovery, wipe, advanced wipe, ticked everything and cleaned it) because the phone went into an unending Loop of restarts, now i have limited knowledge in flashing Roms but i work with the PC everyday. now i happened to get a custom rom from ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2445392 ) and followed the prompt till i got to fastboot flash recovery TWRP2.6.1.0.img at that point it kept giving me an error, i read up to knpw that it is an S-On problem but i cant get my phone to S-Off. I need help seriously PLEASE!! with how yurn s-on to s-off or with another way to get a ROM on the phone. Thanks

I can`t remember that you need s-off for TWRP and i dont think so!

What a Error you get?

Post exactly the error you get. For flashing TWRP you shouldn't be S-Off
Edit: I've checked the link for the ROM you've said you tried to follow flashing instructions....that is an S4 (ville) ROM and that TWRP is for S4 not for villeC2 as it appears in your bootloader info. DO NOT TRY TO FLASH ANYTHING from S4 section, you must flash a ROM and TWRP made for villeC2 (S3) cause they're not compatible.
