[Q] Stuck On Recovery And Phone Wont Boot - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I had an unlocked bootloader and the following stats :
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.14.0002
RADIO- 0.19as.32.09.11_2
OpenDSP- v29.1.0.45.0622
eMMC-boot
I tried to flash the clockwork recovery.. and the phone would not boot at all.. it is stuck at the original stock recovery screen. I have tried a couple of different methods. But i am not sure why none of them are working out. And another way i though of updating it was to flash all rom files using fastboot. but i cant seem to find a system image.
What should i do ?
Thank You

Is your bootloader still unlocked

im not sure why u choose CWM over TWRP. since CWM has issue with Evita. If you want to ask some people in xda-forum, they might able to solve your problem step by step and how to fix your phone.
my suggestion is to flash TWRP from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1677447
im a noob, so i cant help you futher than that. hope that helps.

try running this command in fastboot "fastboot erase cache" also you can only flash recovery if you have unlocked bootloader. rohan32 cwm is pretty good but you can mount usb though so i would stick with twrp for now.

[Q] Stuck in boot loop help please

Hi, I was trying to flash an ICS rom (Leedriod 7.3) I already was using leedriod 3.1 previously which I still have a backup of. I think I may have flashed the wrong ICS boot loader.. so at the moment the boot loader says this
Revoultionary
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.27.110
RADIO-10.12.9007.21.2M
eMMc-boot

After I first flashed it was saying
cid incorrect!
Update fail!
press (power) to reboot
So I'd like to get back to my original rom, I've tried using my clockworkmod backup.. but it doesnt seem to change the boot loader. I been reading other threads. So I've tried to get supercid using adb.. so I could flash a different boot loader, but it doesnt seem to work for me just hangs on < waiting for device > Same thing when I try to find out what my cid actually is.
Any help will be appreciated thank you.

Hi,
restoring a nandroid backup will not change the bootloader.
It sounds like you have not installed the required drivers fire adb to work properly.
Look at the sticky section at the beginning of this forum.
There is an adb thread...

so other then an unlocked bootloader, it's completely stock? If it is and you want to keep it that way you can always send it in for repair. At a price though since you have a unlocked bootloader, and I don't think you can get it originally locked again. only relocked. You don't have warrenty this way.
You could also install a custom ROM

Hi,
Look HERE
2. Flashing a recovery
Try re-installing your recovery.
Then, follow the rest of the thread to install a custom ROM.

[Q] Stuck with installing custom rom

Hello,
I'm trying to root my HTC Sensation and install a custom ROM. I've read dozens of thread's and I followed them, as far as I can tell, how it supposed to.
Now I am at the point where I should install the new ROM from my SD card (phone is S-OFF using ControlBear.exe). But that isn't going so well. I can boot in hboot and select recovery, after that the phone reboots and nothing happens. When I regulary boot my phone it stay's in the HTC splash screen...
Is it possible that I removed everything on my phone and cannot recover anymore? And if so, how can I recover from my stupid mistake

I can`t remember that you need s-off for TWRP and i dont think so!
Also here no comment @ https://twrp.me/devices/htconess4.html
What a Error you get?
Post exactly the error you get. For flashing TWRP you shouldn't be S-Off
Edit: I've checked the link for the ROM you've said you tried to follow flashing instructions....that is an S4 (ville) ROM and that TWRP is for S4 not for villeC2 as it appears in your bootloader info. DO NOT TRY TO FLASH ANYTHING from S4 section, you must flash a ROM and TWRP made for villeC2 (S3) cause they're not compatible.

Writing Recovery.......

That's the error i get.
