[Q] Stuck in boot loop help please - HTC Sensation

Hi, I was trying to flash an ICS rom (Leedriod 7.3) I already was using leedriod 3.1 previously which I still have a backup of. I think I may have flashed the wrong ICS boot loader.. so at the moment the boot loader says this

After I first flashed it was saying
cid incorrect!
Update fail!
press (power) to reboot
So I'd like to get back to my original rom, I've tried using my clockworkmod backup.. but it doesnt seem to change the boot loader. I been reading other threads. So I've tried to get supercid using adb.. so I could flash a different boot loader, but it doesnt seem to work for me just hangs on < waiting for device > Same thing when I try to find out what my cid actually is.
Any help will be appreciated thank you.

Hi,
restoring a nandroid backup will not change the bootloader.
It sounds like you have not installed the required drivers fire adb to work properly.
Look at the sticky section at the beginning of this forum.
There is an adb thread...

while entering recovery it boot looped...weird ...it seems like something got corrupted in /recovery partition
try this
extract the boot.img (choose it from the kernel of your liking) from ARHD zip and flash it via fastboot
command
fastboot flash boot boot.img
then reboot and see..if that didnt worked
then probably you need to format all the partitions again and see..
to do that you need to run RUU (you'll lose your data this way)
i assume you are supercid (as you are SOFF)
so get any ICS RUU ...
keep your phone in fastboot and run the RUU from your pc
(it will do a clean install of stock ICS but wont change your SOFF status..so you can install ARHD again)
hopefully this will solve the problem

Oi you have old firmware .i Think it came after running the RUU otherwise It won't be compatible with ics roms.. You need to flash the 3.32 firmware again.. Check the ARHD thread OP for the 3.32 firmware
Also if you already tried the above and still not working
Then flash a ics RUU .. after flashing RUU.. Try to enter the stock recovery (once you enter you need to press all three hard buttons to get options)
If it still bootloops during entering recovery means.. You might have bad blocks in the internal memory.. Which is a hardware issue
Confirm/try the above.. In the mean time I'll try to dig further

[Q] Stuck On Recovery And Phone Wont Boot

I had an unlocked bootloader and the following stats :
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.14.0002
RADIO- 0.19as.32.09.11_2
OpenDSP- v29.1.0.45.0622

I tried to flash the clockwork recovery.. and the phone would not boot at all.. it is stuck at the original stock recovery screen. I have tried a couple of different methods. But i am not sure why none of them are working out. And another way i though of updating it was to flash all rom files using fastboot. but i cant seem to find a system image.
What should i do ?
Thank You
Is your bootloader still unlocked

im not sure why u choose CWM over TWRP. since CWM has issue with Evita. If you want to ask some people in xda-forum, they might able to solve your problem step by step and how to fix your phone.
my suggestion is to flash TWRP from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1677447
im a noob, so i cant help you futher than that. hope that helps.
try running this command in fastboot "fastboot erase cache" also you can only flash recovery if you have unlocked bootloader. rohan32 cwm is pretty good but you can mount usb though so i would stick with twrp for now.

Stuck after unlock bootloader and CyanogenMod...

Hello,
I'm really hoping someone can help me out here... I just unlocked the bootloader on my Sensation using the Hasoon2000's AIO tooklit, which went fine.
I then flashed ClockworkMod Touch Recovery, again which seems to be working fine.
My mistake I think was when I formatted all partitions from within CWM and then installed the stable 9.1 CyanogenMod... now the phone won't boot beyond the swirly CyanogenMod boot animation. No reboot loop, just stuck on the boot animation.

I've tried re-locking the bootloader and flashing the only O2 stock rom I can find (RUU_Pyramid_O2_UK_1.34.206.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_196476_signed.exe), but this results in errors. Maybe this is an older version of the rom that was on there?
I'm guessing the phone is locked to O2 uk because it has a CID O2*****
Not sure where to go from here... I've done a lot of searching, but can't see how to get over this.
Hopefully someone can help me.
Many thanks.

Hi,
Look HERE
Unlock your phone again, and follow this thread.
The key is to install 4EXT recovery, format all partitions except sd card, and enable "Smartflash" just before flashing the ROM.

[Q] Stuck with installing custom rom

Hello,
I'm trying to root my HTC Sensation and install a custom ROM. I've read dozens of thread's and I followed them, as far as I can tell, how it supposed to.
Now I am at the point where I should install the new ROM from my SD card (phone is S-OFF using ControlBear.exe). But that isn't going so well. I can boot in hboot and select recovery, after that the phone reboots and nothing happens. When I regulary boot my phone it stay's in the HTC splash screen...
Is it possible that I removed everything on my phone and cannot recover anymore? And if so, how can I recover from my stupid mistake

I can`t remember that you need s-off for TWRP and i dont think so!
Also here no comment @ https://twrp.me/devices/htconess4.html
What a Error you get?
Post exactly the error you get. For flashing TWRP you shouldn't be S-Off
Edit: I've checked the link for the ROM you've said you tried to follow flashing instructions....that is an S4 (ville) ROM and that TWRP is for S4 not for villeC2 as it appears in your bootloader info. DO NOT TRY TO FLASH ANYTHING from S4 section, you must flash a ROM and TWRP made for villeC2 (S3) cause they're not compatible.

That's the error i get.
