[Q] Stuck with installing custom rom - HTC Sensation

Hello,
I'm trying to root my HTC Sensation and install a custom ROM. I've read dozens of thread's and I followed them, as far as I can tell, how it supposed to.
Now I am at the point where I should install the new ROM from my SD card (phone is S-OFF using ControlBear.exe). But that isn't going so well. I can boot in hboot and select recovery, after that the phone reboots and nothing happens. When I regulary boot my phone it stay's in the HTC splash screen...
Is it possible that I removed everything on my phone and cannot recover anymore? And if so, how can I recover from my stupid mistake

[Q] Failed Cyanogen Installation -> Half-Bricked Desire S

Hello, members )
My story:
Since i never liked HTC Sense i tried to migrate to Cyanogen.
I performed the following steps:
1. Bootloader was unlocked with HTC site.
2. 4ExtRecovery installed.
3. Cyanogen "update-cm-7.1.0-DesireS-signed" was installed via 4Ext from sd card.
Now phone stucks at HTC logo. Access to bootmenu, recovery is available.
I tried to flash RUU_Saga_S_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.5_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.04_M_release_219480_signed.exe but it ends with an error.
Phone data:

Any chance to recover phone functionality?
Thanx in advance.

Have you made a backup of your previous ROM? If not try one of the custom sense roms or run the ruu without attached device, don't close the first window and search for the rom.zip, copy it to another folder and delete everything in the zip file except the system.img, rename it to pg88img.zip and flash it in bootloader or flash the image itself with fastboot.
As much as I know is your problem that with htcdev the kernel isn't unlocked and cause cyanogen needs another then sense, it doesn't work.
Swyped from my Desire S
flashed pg88img.zip via bootloader. no effect, still hangs on white HTC logo screen (

first thing you should do is to go s-off, then you can install custom roms.

He's unlocked by htc dev
You can also try flashing the full package with all content from the rom.zip, but this sets also your unlocked state of the bootloader back and be sure that you use the latest version of the ruu.
Swyped from my Desire S
seems like RUU_Saga_S_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.5_Radio_20.4801.30. 0822U_3822.10.08.04_M_release_219480_signed.exe is te latest but it ends with an error.
I have already tried a few roms, but the result is the same HTC logo screen

You need to manually flash the boot.img from CM 7.1 when you have the unlocked bootloader.

Thanx for the help )
But i dont have cyanogen anymore since i tried to flash other roms.
Shall i install CM rom via 4extrecovery and then flash boot.img in fastboot?
I am ready to get back Sense because now nothing works (
Mr tpbklake , you do the magic!!
Everything works thanx!!
So,
1. CM rom was flashed in 4EXT
2. /boot was formatted
3. fastboot flash boot boot.img was performed (boot.img from the same rom)

[Q] What if????

What if it says image update error after you attempt the zip recovery method and you are stuck on bootloader with only options to fastboot and go no where except option to go back to bootloader and the factory reset sends you to fastboot and the image crc is 0x0 on everything?

You can still make your phone normal. If you have working fastboot or bootloader your phone is not bricked.
You can reflash recovery, radio , and other firmware related stuff .
Sorry but can i get directions on what files are needed to reflash and how to do it. Since my phone is already in a bad state I dont want to risk bricking it.

Where is the radio information ?? Doesn't show ??
It does not show a radio info
Why 2 threads
Try flashing this firmware. This is ICS only firmware, but if it gets things working for you. And you want to go back to gingerbread, then you can worry about that later

[Q] Stuck On Recovery And Phone Wont Boot

I had an unlocked bootloader and the following stats :
EVITA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 1.14.0002
RADIO- 0.19as.32.09.11_2
OpenDSP- v29.1.0.45.0622

I tried to flash the clockwork recovery.. and the phone would not boot at all.. it is stuck at the original stock recovery screen. I have tried a couple of different methods. But i am not sure why none of them are working out. And another way i though of updating it was to flash all rom files using fastboot. but i cant seem to find a system image.
What should i do ?
Thank You
Is your bootloader still unlocked

im not sure why u choose CWM over TWRP. since CWM has issue with Evita. If you want to ask some people in xda-forum, they might able to solve your problem step by step and how to fix your phone.
my suggestion is to flash TWRP from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1677447
im a noob, so i cant help you futher than that. hope that helps.
try running this command in fastboot "fastboot erase cache" also you can only flash recovery if you have unlocked bootloader. rohan32 cwm is pretty good but you can mount usb though so i would stick with twrp for now.

so other then an unlocked bootloader, it's completely stock? If it is and you want to keep it that way you can always send it in for repair. At a price though since you have a unlocked bootloader, and I don't think you can get it originally locked again. only relocked. You don't have warrenty this way.
You could also install a custom ROM

Hi,
Look HERE
2. Flashing a recovery
Try re-installing your recovery.
Then, follow the rest of the thread to install a custom ROM.
