[18 JAN] [MOD] Unlimited MultiWindow Apps [EUCMA3 & XXCMA1 Added]

What does this Mod Do?
This mod will give you "unlimited" multiwindow apps and a minimize button for windows. Also enabled double tap on titlebar to maximize windows.
NEW UPDATE 18 January 2013
Just added Unlimited MultiWindow Mod for N8013-UEUCMA3 & N8000-XXCMA1 and updated N8000_XXCLL3. I hope this new update will give you unlimited multiwindow apps without needing to mod apks or edit the csc file. As I do not have a note10.1 to test it, please let me know if it works.
Some info about the Resize Button that appears on the control bar or bottom right of every opened app. The JB 4.1.2 has the necessary code that put the Resize button on every supported app while the JB 4.1.1 doesn't. The only way to put the Resize button on every app for JB 4.1.1 is to insert the missing code fragment from the 4.1.2 to the 4.1.1 located in android.policy.jar (MultiPhoneWindowEvent$SwithToPreviousSizeButton.smali). Or modding the apps apk and specifically inserting the necessary multiwindow code and dimensions. That is a lot of work and impossible for me to do without a test device. Add to that the fact that smali is a totally foreign language.
Information about the Flashable Files.
There are now 2 options for each ROM version. For example, N8000-XXCMA1.UnlimitedApps will give you unlimited multiwindow apps. Whereas, N8000-XXCMA1.useMultiWindowManagerApp will display all apps on the traybar but wont display as MultiWindow unless enabled with bjbinc's MultiWindow Manager App. So basically the traybar becomes a launcher for both multiwindow and non-multiwindow apps. If an app has been multiwindow-enabled then it will display as multiwindow but if not multiwindow enabled, it will load as a normal fullscreen app. Both versions contain the minimize button and the double-tap to maximize feature. I tried my best to enable 4wayReboot options (even though I haven't tested it) and added Circle Battery theme.
How to install?
1. Make a nandroid backup to be safe. It is essential that you always make a backup.
2. You need to be on a rooted deodex ROM preferably unmodified framework files.
3. Download the appropriate mod for your rom/device below and flash thru CWM recovery.

Thanks I will try it when i reach come, but if your rom is based on a real note 10.1 rom then in theory it should work or it should be modified allittle more to work on our note

Try to set window layout to cascade mode. If it does not resize, maybe the framework-res.apk needs to be altered as well.

Thanks a lot for this patch, now all my apps are running multiwindow , but yes the patch needs some more modifying , i`m here attaching 2 screenshots for the same app , one with Dual View & the other Cascading View.

yeah, in all Multiwindow apps except the already built in ones by Samsung.

Thanks! This is a good modification.
However, this modification only works with the visualization to cascade mode and the dimension of the reduced windows with the modification is much more big of those redoubts with the multiwindows original.

The mod is fully working now Thank You for taking an intrest in our device and making this work!!

Works on Redemption ROM. I have one app that crashes from the mod. It is a rotation control app that does not need the multiscreen feature. Is there a way I can manually fix this? I may be able to fix it myself if I knew how your mod works. Thanks for the awesome work. Our Note 10.1's will put iPad users to shame.
Update:
I fixed my issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I'll have to see if it still works after a reboot too.

After I flashed part 1 I lost my external sdcard mount.
But when I rebooted it looks like it's working.
Do I have to flash part 2 also?
Till now everything is working fine with just part one.
What does part 2 do?
One thought, the icons is in the bottom right corner, just at the same effect place as the "enter" key in SwiftKey tablet.
So I often press that button instead of the enter.
Otherwise working outstanding mate!

Yes you can achieve that using xposed ... Download exposed installer apk. Install it and restart tablet. and inside download options, download a module called phab7. Then choose phone as default mode. It will prompt you to click on change... System ui will restart and will take you to lock screen... Enjoy ???

[Xposed] Popup Window MOD - Launch Floating Windows from the sidebar tray

Here is another simple module that I have been using for quite sometime now and decided to share finally while we are all waiting for lollipop.
I just call it POPUP WINDOW MOD (to make it sound a little new ) which enables launching of apps in Floating Window mode from the stock multiwindow traybar like it is in the Note 4. This version will work only on Note 3 devices with stock Samsung 4.4.2 roms.
As this is an xposed module, just download, install and activate it in the xposed framework installer and reboot.
A single CLICK on app icon will launch app in POPUP WINDOW. Dragging app icon will launch app normally/splitwindow.

I am on Note 3 N9005XXUGNG1, with Stock ROM, rooted and Xposed enabled.
I am getting the FC as shown in attached pics.
I tried clearing data for com.android.app.flash services, but still same error.
any work around to fix this issue?

EDIT:
Working fine now.
After first installation it was getting FC.
So here's what I did.
1. disabled it in xposed module and uninstalled it.
2. Then reboot.
3. Installed once again and enabled it in Xposed
4. Reboot.
It will work.
EDIT 2: Adding additional Apps into Multi Window using Wanam Xposed module will not work after enabling this module.

I have found the best way to add apps to multiwindow and pen window, is by adding them manually to system/csc/others.xml

I can't see anything in my others.xml file.
And I am facing one more issue. Having multiple instance of Calculator, Clock, Phone and Contact.
Can somebody help to how get only one instance of it in Pen Window.

I think there's an uninstall xposed zip you can flash, should get you out of the bootloop so you can uninstall the mod, then reinstall xposed if you wanted to

+1 but i want to decrease it for persian language it should be 70 characters (unicode)

I am on 3.1. , I downloaded the zip file and flashed as instructed, but when I reboot my I9505 I do not have the floating messages option in settings, so I cannot proceed with instructions any further. Please help

how to enable on albe lollirom 4.0?
Guys i flashed the zip on albe95 lollirom 4.0 and followed instruction. also flashed s5 settings. i already enabled the floating message at the noti. panel. but when im in settings/notification panel there is no floating message icon even if i reset. Any idea what i'd missed?

[ROM 6.0] Dr. Keton Note 7 MM ROM for T-Mobile Note Edge

The moderators have been very good at providing us ROMs but it seems as if the T-Mobile Note Edge development is slowing down. I did some digging and found we are able to use the M11 ROM from Dr. Keton from the Note 4 Snapdragon (maybe others as well). Dr. Keton has put out a very nice ROM based off of the Note 7 and has the fully functional theme store provided.
T-Mobile Note Edge (May work for others)
*Must first be on full stock PE3 (Marshmallow) & recovery (I went with TWRP 3.0)
1) Wipe Data, Dalvik, Cache x3, then REBOOT RECOVERY!!
2) Flash M11 ROM (N910G MM)
3) Flash Emotion-TW-stable-MM-r26-RC1-SM-N915P_N7_test
4) Reboot (First boot will take 10-15mins)
5) Once booted, don't touch phone for 5 mins!
6) Apply Essential fix (will auto pop-up at setup screen & GRANT superuser request)
7) Go through phone setup (including registrar of fingerprint in Note4 Tools app)
8) Once your phone is setup Reboot to Recovery
9) Flash aurora_N7_datafix_N910T_alpha5 (Use this!)
10) Reboot system & Profit!

**If you have gallery issues, replace gallery apk with the one below. Set permissions 644 and reboot. (Thanks vjosephkumar)
*Essential Fix - This is very important tool and it will appear just after finishing setup wizard. It is highly recommend to apply this Fix when offer. In case you missed it then there is ROM tool available in drawer, open it and Apply Essential Fix.
I take no credit for this ROM, kernel or data fix. I'm simply spreading the love! Boom!

Fixes
1. Found you will need screen mirroring fix:
wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable
Then you must disable: android.app.wfdbroker (see screen shot)
2. Open phone dialer and click "More" then click "Settings" then turn off "Voice over LTE Preferred". This will fix call issues.

Camera works. You can swipe the edge to access people, apps, news, weather and other edge panels but it's not like the original Stock Rom. It's identical to the S7 Edge.

I cannot find Gear themes you are using. Could you please share the link.

Does me the same way. Must use a 3rd party lock screen for fingerprint to work. Example on the main thread.
