[Q] ATTD800 no fastboot no downloadmode no rec - AT&T LG G2

ATTD800 no fastboot no download mode no rec no
Sorry, my English is not good enough. I will descript as simple as possible.
Background:
I flash the wrong laf.img file (D802) into D800, it caused that I cannot enter fastboot and cannot flash laf.img and cannot flash tot & kdz.
No fastboot, no Download mode, no rec
Current situation:

1When I press power button, it showed LG logo always.

2Cannot enter download mode via volume plus during booting.

3Cannot enter fastboot mode via volume plus during booting

4 I can enter default rec -> factory data reset, but there is no effect no matter what I chose.
5 I can enter “Hardware Key control” via press volume “+” & “-“during booting, but there is no effect no matter what I chose.
6 Since I cannot enter Download mode, kdz flashing was failed.
7 Although there is no download mode, I can enter the tot guide except the last step-> result is failed.
Problem:
According to tot flash result, I supposed that my problem is that I flash wrong laf.img.
So phone cannot enter fastboot and download mode.
The tot flashing didn’t continue since the laf.img was not match with DLL and SW.
Here I have both D800 DLL& tot file and D802, they were all failed
Below is the result of tot flashing
1)select the dll and tot file of 800, Report error: the model and SW were different

}

2)select the dll and tot file of 802, Report error:
fota partition was changed.
LAF retrieveGPT() failed
LAF: Bin_User_Mode
Fastboot.exe tool
Since there is no downloading and fastboot mode, the fastboot.exe display message “waiting for device” and no result.
Addition Info:
The post [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142], I have read and tried, however it’s different.
This step
Code:
ls /dev/sd*
It should return something like this:
Quote:
/dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda5
/dev/sdb1 /dev/sdb2 /dev/sdb3 /dev/sdb4
/dev/sdb5 .......... /dev/sdb36
My result:
About the next steps I can not continue.
If I can flash correct laf.img file into phone, all the problem will be fixed, how to do it?
Please help and give me some suggest or solution, thanks for your help.

Status Update
Reason: Druing using fastboot reparire, I flashed wrong laf.img file. And then I can not step fastboot mode and download, my D800 became a brick.
Description:
1. SD card has been formated.
2. There is no TWRP and REC beside LG's default REC (this is no effect after used LG's default REC)
3. Power on G2 ,stuck on LG logo
4. Can not enter fastboot mode.
5. Can enter the first step of Download mode, but I could not go to next step which show double arrows. This impact that I can not flash kdz.
5. For the first step of Download mode, it can flash TOT, however the result is always failed.
Solution:
Refer to this thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687768
The difference between my normal TOT flashing and the TOT flashing from referenced thread is that there are 2 DLL replacements.
Hope these info could help someone.

Bootloop & Cannot push things through ADB

my phone has been running pure nexus with su since jan and today my phone decided to bootloop
i tried putting my phone into fastboot mode and pushing twrp.img through ADB, but the phone bootloops before it even receives the complete file (remote: flash write failure)
so then i tried getting the factory image through google and selecting the flash-all.bat, but the same thing happens, the phone bootloops

Try unzip the factory image and flash imgs separately, follow this guide where it says "What to Do If the Script Doesn’t Work" (below the middle of the page), so you should have finished each step before it bootloops again.

ill try tomorrow but i dont think there is enough time to push a single file before the phone bootloops itself
theres literally a three second window
Also, have you tried just wipe? Maybe there is a system error, and if you wipe from adb first it'll fix itself (just type "fastboot -w" and press enter)

i contacted google and they said theyd be willing make an exception and help me, but i need to ask my carrier to help me unroot the device first. i dont think it can be unrooted it if i cant even flash the factory images onto it, let alone wiping the device (-w).

[Solved] Can't enter Download mode in Samsung A90

Post resolved, turned out that phone was a fake chinese one. No way to unbrick it as there is no known OS to flash it.
--------------------------
Ok, some backstory a friend brought this phone from Peru to Argentina (so I'm assuming it's a SM-A908B global version), seems network wasn't working, so someone tried to "fix" it and sort of bricked it. I said, ok give it to me and I'll just flash an official firmware to bring it back to life. But I can't enter download mode.
-Phone turns on but it's stuck in logo screen (I noticed from some videos that their phone has a 5G after A90)

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
-Turning it off and pressing volume up + volume down and putting usb cable goes to "Factory" (This also happens when powering off and powering on with volume down + power button)
Spoiler
-Volume up + power button goes to this:
Spoiler
Then you can access fastboot and recovery mode
Spoiler
-From recovery menu, "reboot to bootloader" takes you to fastboot, so it's the same as the second option from the previous menu.
-Bonus image from "root integrity check" where we can see that previous person tried to change IMEI and ****ed up
Spoiler
So far I tried:
-A basic wipe data/factory reset, but obviously it didn't work.
-Extracting recovery.img from AP_A908BXXU4CTL3_CL20174301_QB36568574_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_OS10.tar (and extracting from lz4) and flashing it via fastboot, but it fails as it says it doesn't have permission to flash recovery.
-The same with System.img extracted from the AP file, but fastboot flash just fails (I could try to do this via adb in recovery, but I would like a second opinion here).
Any help would be very welcomed. How to get access to download mode to flash an official firmware, or how to flash a odin firmware via recovery mode (I tried searching for this but couldn't find much).
What happened for this to report modified file ??
Are you asking about the log of "root integrity check"? I don't know what the previous person tried to do with the phone, probably tried to root it and failed. Looks like some system files were modified
@Zero.G
Use Samsung ODIN to fix phone.

[GUIDE] How to properly solve the errors of the SP FLASH TOOL for MERLIN ? (Redmi 10X 4G / Redmi Note 9)

WARNINGS:
Keep your backup files safe and secure ! If you can, encrypt them.
If you try to flash in "firmware upgrade" mode, bootloader will be LOCKED again !
Never try to flash in "format all" mode ! Otherwise, you will LOSE all secure and identifying infos for your device. Like IMEI and MAC.
Never try to share your backups or your security and privacy will be compromised.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS.
Did you have any other error not mentioned here ?
Just attach the screenshot of the error and explain some what you did to get this error and we will try to help.
Good luck !
Error: "LIB DA not match"

If you are facing this issue, you have three solutions for that error:#1. Try on Linux.#2. Download an older version of the SP Flash Tool. See "Alternative Downloads" in this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...for-merlin-redmi-10x-4g-redmi-note-9.4229939/#3. Uncheck "LIB DA match" in the Options. Check step #10 of this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...for-merlin-redmi-10x-4g-redmi-note-9.4229939/
Error: "PMT changed for the ROM"
Firstly, NEVER try to flash in "format all" mode !Otherwise, you will LOSE all secure and identifying infos for your device. Like IMEI and MAC.If you are facing "PMT changed" message, your device has an older scatter file inside it.This is because there is any modification to the scatter file you are using to the scatter file used before. There are some minor changes from scatter file of the MIUI 11 to the scatter file of MIUI 12, but nothing significant. You can ignore it.You have two solutions for that error:#1. Use the same scatter file present on the device.#2. Flash using "firmware upgrade" mode and a new PMT will be written. But, if you flash using "firmware upgrade" mode, bootloader will be LOCKED again and userdata will be ERASED.If you want, you can backup the state of unlocked bootloader BEFORE the "firmware upgrade" and then restore it after.Just follow this guide before the "firmware upgrade": https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...omi-redmi-10x-4g-xiaomi-redmi-note-9.4221065/
Error: "STATUS_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL"
Just simple try to boot/reboot your device.Once is enough. It will refresh the download/EDL mode.
Error: "STATUS_SEC_AUTH_FILE_NEEDED"
If you are facing this error, you are trying to flash using EDL mode.Firstly, try to flash in download mode and not in EDL mode.Just connect the powered off device without press any key.If you want to flash in EDL mode, you need to bypass authentication.Just follow this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...d-flash-in-edl-with-no-auth-for-free.4229679/
Error: "STATUS_BROM_CMD_FAIL"
If you are facing this error, you are trying to flash using EDL mode.Firstly, try to flash in download mode and not in EDL mode.Just connect the powered off device without press any key.If you want to flash in EDL mode, you need to bypass authentication.Just follow this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...d-flash-in-edl-with-no-auth-for-free.4229679/
Error: "STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL"
Just use the properly DA (Download-agent) file for MERLIN devices. Here you can find DA files for MERLIN: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...omi-redmi-10x-4g-xiaomi-redmi-note-9.4209767/
Error: "STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION"
Firstly, NEVER try to flash in "format all" mode !Otherwise, you will LOSE all secure and identifying infos for your device. Like IMEI and MAC.If you are facing "EXT RAM Exception" message, probably your device is DEAD or uncompatible with ROM variant.Just Flash using the "FIRMWARE UPGRADE" mode and your device will be alive again. If you flash using "firmware upgrade" mode, bootloader will be LOCKED again and userdata will be ERASED.If you want, you can backup the state of unlocked bootloader BEFORE the "firmware upgrade" and then restore it after.Just follow this guide before the "firmware upgrade": https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...omi-redmi-10x-4g-xiaomi-redmi-note-9.4221065/

ADB Sideload state and error: closed

I have a friend's Nokia 7.1 which got stuck on restarting and is basically bricked right now. I am trying to fix it.
things i have tried:
1. wipe data/ factory data reset from recovery: Kept stuck there and it didn't work out.
2. tried to load stock firmware using SDCARD but it already had the latest firmware so the phone is not accepting any other.
3. Sideload stock firmware but shows error: cannot read zip (no zip- no nothing worked here too)
4. booted to recovery and chose ''apply update from ADB'' :
On checking for adb devices it returns with "Sideload" instead of "Device".
no matter what command i give it returns with Error :closed

5. Booted to Download mode/fastboot mode. on giving cmd "fastboot devices" it returns with nothing and on giving any other fastboot cmd it return with <waiting for device> .
******All the adb/fastboot drivers are installed correctly******
6. I tried to get into EDL mode by shorting the EDL points but for some reason it didn't work either, I suspect the points i tried to short it with were wrong and right guide is not available.
8. Nokia OST tool gets stuck at "getting product id" and tried OST tool for every other thing but it doesn't work.
7. Authorized Service center said it cannot be repaired and suggested Motherboard replacement. (Sense-less to do so.)

U11 RUU flash fail

Hello everyone,
My U11 was with a custom ROM.
I wanted to flash it back with an official ROM (for work), and then have 2 distinct phone for work and private.
However, after flashing back the official ROM, now it boots, saying the boot loader is unblock (can even pause the boot), then a black screen, then restarts...
And it loops like this, forever and ever and ever...
(i did the flashing by putting the zip file named "2PZCIMG.zip" on an SD card).
TWRP has disappeared. If i try to get there, i have the icon of a phone, with a read warning sign on it.
After pressing buttons power + vol up, I tried the "reset factory" there.
It did last not even 5 sec (with a successful message).
When i go to boot loader, fastboot devices gives me "???????????" and restarts the phone.
Please don't tell me i bricked it
Any help please ? :x
I'll get you a beer or 2.
Anyone, please ?
Let me ask my question differently.
Are these the symptoms of my phone being bricked ? :x
