Bootloop & Cannot push things through ADB - Google Pixel Questions & Answers

my phone has been running pure nexus with su since jan and today my phone decided to bootloop
i tried putting my phone into fastboot mode and pushing twrp.img through ADB, but the phone bootloops before it even receives the complete file (remote: flash write failure)
so then i tried getting the factory image through google and selecting the flash-all.bat, but the same thing happens, the phone bootloops

Try unzip the factory image and flash imgs separately, follow this guide where it says "What to Do If the Script Doesn’t Work" (below the middle of the page), so you should have finished each step before it bootloops again.

ill try tomorrow but i dont think there is enough time to push a single file before the phone bootloops itself
theres literally a three second window

Also, have you tried just wipe? Maybe there is a system error, and if you wipe from adb first it'll fix itself (just type "fastboot -w" and press enter)

ive tried wiping my phone and reinstalling the factory images but i get an error message (bootloader is unlocked and adb/fastboot are up-to-date)
is my memory corrupted? if it is, could i lock the bootloader and send it out under the manufacturers warranty?

i contacted google and they said theyd be willing make an exception and help me, but i need to ask my carrier to help me unroot the device first. i dont think it can be unrooted it if i cant even flash the factory images onto it, let alone wiping the device (-w).

Cannot Factory Reset Phone

I have an HTC One XL(Evita, At&t)? I purchased it from a third party. The device is rooted and unlocked.
My phone's battery died. Once I went home to recharge it, the device was unable to get past the white HTC quietly brilliant screen. I would reboot it by pressing the volume down button + power button to reboot it and factory reset it. However, it continued to do this action. Then, I chose to reboot it under some setting. After I rebooted it, the device went to a "teamwins" screen. I erased everything, including the rom. Once I did this, it re-booted the device and continued to be on the same screen. Since this action happened, I connected it to my Windows 7 PC. I noticed that my HTC could not be identified as an external hard drive, it was identified as a CD rom drive.
I tried to fix this problem by looking at other forums containing this topic. Here is what I tried:
- I tried to go to HTC support. I downloaded the current system, and tried to use it. When I tried to use it, it kept saying error.
- I uninstalled the driver and tried to re-install it, it came back as a CD rom drive.
- I restarted my computer, pressed f8, and put disable driver signature.
- The driver re-installed as a CD rom drive.
Can anybody help me identify my problem, and a solution for it?!? Thank you so much
You need to relock the boot loader before running an ruu.
Fastboot oem lock
Did you do a reset in the boot loader or recovery? If you did it in the boot loader you just corrupted the sdcard and need to reformat that

Do a quick Google search for 'fastboot files'
Extract somewhere like C:\
Open command prompt
cd C:\fastboot
fastboot oem lock
Don't format the SDcard
Sent from my HTC One X-
And when you wiped system in recovery your phone had no Rom to boot up into so that's why you couldn't...search fastboot and learn a bit on it like grim said and than in fastboot do the command he said to lock your bl than run the ruu

extract the images.zip (on the same directory - not a sub directory i.e images\ ).
extract Others_flashall.zip.
Your directory will look like this:
then run flash-all-partitions.bat.
Warning: that will wipe all your data
thanks i put the .bat files in the official rom 9.0.2 Oxyegen.rar
after I install the rom with the program tool all in one.
now all its running well thanks for your help

Redmi Note 4x Restarts Contineusly without trying to Root It

Hello!
While i was watching youtube my phone started restarting contineusly and i can't do anything. I didn't try to unlock bootloader or sth like that, neither in the past. I Held power button + volume down to go into fastboot and then i turned it off and it stopped looping, but when i turned it on again, the restarts contineued.
Please help me, i have google authenticator in a lot of serious investment apps and without it i can't login.
Thanks in advance!
Here are some tips:
• boot to fastboot mode and clear system cache.
• if you have removable battery, remove it for some time and try starting phone again
• calibrate the battery. Let your phone drop down to 0% and charge again to 100% without any interuptions.
• if nothing works, make a backup of your device and try factory resetting.
• if that even don't work, good luck and buy a new phone

I tried to clear cache with command "fastboot erase cache" while i was in the fastboot mode but it returned the device is locked. How can i make backup in order to not lose google authenticator?

If you can use adb, just type "adb pull /sdcard" or "adb pull /storage/emulated/0/" (without quotes)
So simple....

I had same issue in the past on my Note 4X, fortunately it was in warranty. Service centre guy said the power IC had gone bad and they replaced it, working fine after that.

Question FastbootD mode?

When I use "fastboot reboot fastboot" command it only reboots and turns on the phone.
I want to try install a GSI rom but I can't get into it.. Is there a way to make it happen?
Am I wrong trying to install it this way? I was reading some forums and I tried a few things without results.

Try this:
First reboot to recovery, once you're there select reboot to bootloader, then press and hold VOL UP while it's rebooting, after that voila your now on Fastboot mode.

Thx for your reply! And sorry for my poor explanation about the problem, I know how to get into fastboot mode but there is another instance of it, and its fastbootD mode that allows you to make modifications on the dynamic partition called "super", the suposed way to get into it is typing the command "fastboot reboot fastboot" in the normal fastboot mode, but nothing happens, the phone just reboots into normal system.
When I try to erase system in normal fastboot mode it cannot find that partition cause this is in super, it will be great if we can experiment with that but Im stuck right now...
I dont know if this worth it.... Any of you already tried a GSI rom?

Yes, but unfortunately their SW REV was just 0, but by device’s one is always 1 (i.e. too high for TWRP and GSI’s atm)
(* Samsung blocks SW REV downgrades at all, the only way to bypass is to run the below for not waiting)
Now it needs waits, or if you don’t wait, you instead need to shut MTK ‘‘secure’’ boot and ‘‘secure’’ Download off at all.

Question Made A Mess - ROG 5 CN Fastboot Loop

Was trying to flash my CN ROM to the WW ROM.
Forgot to turn on USB Debugging in Developer Tools.
Couldn't get it work using HunterTik's guide.
Ran flashall_ATF from windows explorer.
Command prompt flashed on screen then vanished.
Tried running flashall_ATF in an elevated command prompt.
It failed but has apparently wiped the ROM. Device is now stuck in boot loop to fastboot.
Whatever option I choose reboots the device back to fastboot.
Windows can see the device but adb devices returns List of Devices Attached is blank.
How do I recover the phone from here?
Found this thread Rog phone 5 stucked on fastboot
Ran this command: fastboot -v flash all WW_ZS673KS_18.0830.2101.75_M2.13.24.14.1-ASUS_1.1.63_Phone-user.raw
Received these lines of text & now device boots to splash screen, gets stuck there, reboots a few times then sends me back to fastboot.
Still can't access recovery mode

Device is now back in a fastboot loop with no access to any options but power off & restart.
Your phone is broken
Buy a new phone and don't try to mess with it next time
Flash back to CN and try again.
or, get a dump of the official firmware, then sent boot / recovery / super over fastboot manually.

also, you might want to try 9008 rescue. it seems like whatever you're trying to do wiped / repart the partitions. that's why the BL is confused.
also, if you're on win11, some driver related **** can mess things up causing flashing fail.

9008 rescue is the direction I was headed & you're right. Although, on reflection, the partitions were already deleted prior to running the 'fastboot -v flash all xx.raw' command. Not sure how, since that command was the only thing I did which resulted in something happening.
