Tab 2 Brick And Problem.URGENT!! - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I tought my cousin how to do root and stuff.But yesterday,when he flashed CM11,something went wrong and it bricked his Tab.
My cuz contacted me via Facebook for help.At first,the Tab was stuck at the boot screen.But after a few hours,the problem went worse.
The Tab will not turn on by pressing the power button.But when a charger is connected,the Tab turns on but it just shows a battery and a loading circle.Thats it.Ill put a picture on how it looked like somewhere.......down here!

Prerequisites :
Make sure you have samsung usb drivers installed,otherwise odin will not detect it,
then, try these steps :
1)Disconnect the wall charger first. reboot into download mode by long pressing Power button and Volume down buttons simultaneously for 8 to 10 seconds, then when you see "download" mode written,immediately press volume up button.
2) Download odin and download stock firmware from www.samsungupdates.com based on your region.
3) if you phone gets detected,odin textbox will turn green.
4) open odin, now check option " restart" make sure only this option is checked like the following screenshot attached.
5) now click on pda and naviagate to the stock firmware you have downloaded....
6) it will gonno take sometime,,,,,until you see a successful message in the bottom-left corner....
thats it. if you still run into any further issues,please let me know.

Well thanks for your help.The Tab is working again.Admins please lock.

[Q] Black screen with mobile to computer

Well, I hope someone can help me.
A few hours ago, I tried to root my phone with the cf root for Kpn but it got stuck on param on Odin.
I removed the usb, and it gave me this mobile to computer on the screen. Anyone can tell me what to do to get my phone back? thx
Dont panic remove the battery and try getting into download mode and flash either XXKB3 or XXKPE
If you are not able to get into download mode try getting into recovery and wipe data and cache and then try again to get into download mode
Are you talking about this Screen?

If you see the Black Screen of Death I found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15330252
But first of all I would try to get back into Download Mode and flash the last complete ROM (not an update) with pit, bootloader, pda and so on. For example XXKPE
Didn't ever faced this problem. I'm not sure if I really helped with this.
I had experience this. can you get into the download mode by pressing 3combination button(menu,volume down and power button)? Try it as many as you can until it can go to the download mode and then flash the stock froyo that can be downloaded here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004647
If you cannot get into download mode, you can try this -
1.) Take off your back cover, remove your sim & mirco sd card.
2.) Remove your battery.
Make sure you have Odin OPEN with admin privileges!
Make sure you have the USB plugged into your PC but NOT your phone!
3.) Hold the volume buttons.
4.) Put the battery in.
5.) Put the USB in.
Continue holding the volume keys & you should pop into DOWNLOAD mode within a few seconds.
Thanks to Master.
Thank you a lot
That was the screen I saw Taraen.. I got scared for a while.
I removed my battery and inserted it and then went to download mode.
Flashed it again but my battery is completely low.
It seems ok for the moment. I hope it won't restart by itself :/
Thanks a lot to all of you who posted to help me

If you are using XDA App or Tapatalk, long press on the post and select :good: Thanks Its easier to give "Feedback" in this manner than make an additional post.
this is an old thread but I struggled with it as well - fully charge it, hit those 3 buttons - try at the same time but if not try volume up and home and then on/off button and hold it until it reboots the phone.
In my case, if you keep holding it the phone will not turn on.
If you release on/off switch it will turn on but can happen that you will come to system in "safe mode"
For me works just holding those 3 buttons until it reboots (phone was turned off then you start it with buttons, keep holding and when reboots release them) and recovery should be shown. If doesn't help try to take out sd card - if you plug it back in while in recovery my b5512 can load it - sometimes with error but in general, it can.
I think main conditions are to have it charged do 75%+
and unsure but to me it looks like to have a good stable sd card.
All the best

[Q] PLEASE HELP ME, Urgent :(

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 ( Old version ) .
I got a problem with my device
I can`t turn it on anymore, when I hook it up with USB plug into ( PC ) or ( Power Adapter ) I got the following screen :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
so I thought its not charged.
But then I left it to charge full ( 3 - 4 hours or maybe more ) but when I turn it on the welcome screen shows and stucked forever like following :
I tried to reset the factory and data and cache and everything inside BOOT list ( into "Power + Voulme up " menu ) but nothing happen too and the welcome screen still keep stucking .
What can I do ?
Some people told me I should put a new ROM/Software into it
But what is true ? and where is the problem ?
Please HELP !
I can't see any of the pictures you have put in your post. Have you tried reflashing your current rom onto your Note 10.1 with Odin? That usually fixes problems like this and it lets you keep your data.

1. Find the firmware for your device base on it's model number: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
2. Download Odin onto your computer and run it.
3. Get your tablet and when it's turning on, hold the power button and volume down button until you get to the warning screen.
4. Press volume up to continue to download mode and plug your tablet into your computer via USB
5. On your computer, make sure Odin says "Added!". Load the firmware as a PDA into odin and press "Start". Do not unplug your tablet until the process has finish.
6. Android should begin to update and once that's done you should be good to go.

Press Volume - & Home & Power for ~30sec then phone must automaticlly reboot, then when you will see Samsung logo directly really fastly move finger from Volume - to Volume + but still holding that other two buttons. You must get in to recovery menu if you had flashed it before. Then flash again ROOT or full-wipe and just clean install another ROM+ROOT ofcourse. If you did fully unroot via SuperSU then that's can be why now system don't started

Hold anyway Vol - + Power + Home for longer time (~45sec), doesn't matter do phone is turned on or off... Phone must show you Download Mode. If not, what happenes in your case? Only Samsung logo as is on the photo in first post?

Bricked my Gear S3 SM-R760

Long short story, I had an accident then broke my watch and had to pay roughly $140 to replace some parts its worked but I got the Korean firmware also the home button was not working . The home button is working if I press both back and home button. (I was pretty sure it was software failure because I didn't mess with the watch or even drop it).
I tried to flash it with from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/how-to/firmware-how-to-unbrick-gear-s3-t3761643
Unfortunately it is failed, because I just noticed the firmware provided in the post was for R765 not R760, silly me.
After it finished, the watch shows red texts error then it goes like this in the photo attached. I am about to flash it with a proper firmware for SM-R760 but I couldn't get into "Download (Wireless)" mode or anything in REBOOT MODE. It just stucks like in the photo attached below.
Please help, I do not want to waste my money to bring it to Samsung before I try something else.
Also I am completely new on this kind of thing I'm hoping for your help guys. Thank you so much in advance.

I'm stuck on the same problem. If you can give me a tip, I'm grateful.
Sorry to bring this thread back up but I have the same issue. I can't use wireless. I restart it and I get the menu with all the options. I click on download and I get the same screen as the OP. Any tips? Will post if I figure something out.
Also, I accidentally downloaded the wrong firmware onto it

Is there another way to unbrick besides opening watch?
I did the exact thing as original poster. Flashed with wrong firmware (SM-R765). Now phone is stuck on Odin Mode with the following:
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official, SYSTEM STATUS: Custom, REACTIVATION LOCK: On, SECURE DOWNLOAD: Enabled
Is there anyway to get back to the "Tizen Flower" screen to reattempt flash with correct firmware?
Is the only way to do this by opening the watch and connecting USB? Is my watch dead now? Thanks.:crying::crying::crying:
Sorry, no Magic nor Voodoo nor ... exists.
If Download Wireless is dead/disabled... then you need MANDATORY USB cable... for repair attempt at home.
OWN RISK!
