Can someone provide a step by step procedure on how to install and activate Viper4AndroidFX on our device. I tried doing so and I am unable to get it processing the sound. I think I am installing the wrong driver.

[HELP] Unable to root Micromax A56

Hello Everyone,
I'm new here.
I'm Unable to root my phone Micromax A56.
I've been following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1829389
My Doubt: is about the placement of the "EXTRA" file mention in the above guide.
The placement of this file has been mentioned as "C:\Users\------------\.android\ [file]"
How can a folder named ".android" exist ?
Please help me with this.
My Problem: I removed the drivers related to Micromax & Android in my pc using USBDEVIEW.
[But since the drivers are pre-loaded on my phone, it automatically starts a setup for drivers & installs it ! (in any mode)]
I am unable root my phone.
Please Help Me.
Almost done, BUT....
Thanx to TechPointers (They helped to go thru the ".android" error)
I was able to go ahead, but not too far....
My device was recognized as "Android Composite ADB Interface"
When i clicked root in UnlockRoot, it asked "Do you want to try installing drivers?" and it never goes ahead...
AND when i tried SuperOneClick, It hangs and the program does not respond !
Please Help ASAP!
I too have the Same problem from last 1 month but No one care here body...Wait for some days if anyone uploaded You Tube video for us.

[Q] Micromax A74 Canvas Fun issue. Need Help ...!

[Q][SOLVED] Micromax A74 Canvas Fun issue. Need Help ...!
Here's what happened.
I rooted my Micromax A74 & uninstalled some Google apps like search, maps, gmail etc. Everything worked fine.
Recently I did a hard reset. The phone booted & the setup wizard appeared. During the setup I get an error message, [Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped]. I tried several times & got the same error message at some point. How can I fix this? Is there a way to skip the setup wizard?
I fear I may have uninstalled system apps. If this is the problem, how can I reinstall the stock rom? Need help ASAP.

Can you please give me the step-by-step instructions? I'm new to android.
After some research online, I downloaded the stock rom for my phone & mini-sdk. Rebooted my phone into recovery mode and tried to apply update using ADB with this command
Code:
adb sideload <filename>
After the file is transferred I get an error message "Installation aborted." :crying:
Continued googling & found it. Fixed it using adb sideload. But I used a rom from a different source. The rom you mentioned gave me an error message. But anyway, thanks for the help Sdk_Zone.

Thanks for quick reply ... I found 3 post regarding xolo q600
but I fear that am I able to do it or not..
Also I am researching more and getting confused about some terms like firmware, xposed frames...
Also is it necessary to install SDK studio from google before start to root ur device...
What is difference between ADB, SDK, Universal Drivers...
Also I am unable to find how to increase internal app storage permanently...
thanks again
If I get success it rooting and installing custom Rom then i will definitely try rooting another devices and learning more and more about android.

1) firmware is the factory installed operating system.
2) Xposed is a custom mod that works on most rooted devices, it let's you customize whatever ROM you have on your device to add new features, this is not required to root your device, it is something you use after rooting. Cross that bridge when you get to it, don't focus on that right now until after you are rooted.
3)Generally SDK is not needed to root a device, SDK is required for building things in android such as ROMs and apps. You won't need to know that until you learn how to be a developer.
4)ADB stands for Android Debug Bridge, it is a program on PC that is used to connect device to PC so that PC can be used to manipulate the device depending on what you are doing, basically used to pull data from the device and to push data to the device. There are more complicated things that it does as well but it requires experience to understand what those things are and how they are used.
5)SDK stands for Software Development Kit, it is used to develop software of all kinds to be used on android, again, you only need to know that if you become a developer and takes a while to understand and master.
6) universal drivers are general drivers that are used in android operating systems, these work the same as on PC, they allow the device to use the various pieces of hardware on the device. Just like PC, the device can't use any of its hardware without the drivers.
You are really asking about things that you don't need to know until AFTER you get your device rooted.
You need to focus on discovering if you have locked bootloader first and how to unlock it if needed.
Then you need to focus on the root method for your device.
Then focus on getting custom recovery
Then focus on finding custom ROMs for your device.
Without those things and those things ONLY, all the questions you are asking are doing you no good. You are asking how to perform brain surgery which requires going to college and you haven't even graduated school yet. You are basically putting the cart in front of the horse instead of the horse in front of the cart, the cart can't pull the horse, the horse must pull the wagon.
