[Q] Error in my ROM

Hi guys!
I am trying to build a ROM, but when I'm trying to install, it gives me this error:
assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img", "boot")
E:Error in /sdcard/coconut_signed_062112_120338.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
PS: My phone is a SE Live with Walkman (WT19i)

Duhh.. Its obvious, xperia phones cannot flash kernel via cwm because cwm itself is in the kernel. Delete those line in updater-script.

OMG, how I didn't notice that... My BIGGEST FAIL! xD

[Q] Cannot install SlimBean

Good evening everyone.
I am new to the forums and have a little issue: when I try to flash "Slim-2.6.0-I9000.zip" to my Galaxy S I9000 using CWM, I get the exact following error message:
"
This ROM uses an incompatible partition layout
Your /data will be wiped upon installation
Run this update.zip again to confirm install
assert failed: run_program("/tmp/updater.sh") ==
0
E:Error in /sdcard/Slim-2.6.0-I9000.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
"
I have done all the necessary stuff such as wiping data and formatting the system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

[Q] some symlinks failed

I've been trying to install Raven ROM, but unfortunately the installation was aborted because of "Some symlinks failed (Server 7)". Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks.

[Q] Bricked Photon Q - boots into recovery

I think I've just successfully bricked my Photon Q.
Right now I'm stuck with Clockwork recovery (v 6.0.1.3) and my system backed up.
I've tried to install CM12 (cm-12-20150330-NIGHTLY-xt897) but it gives me an error :

Installation aborted.
When trying to recover my system from backup it gives me :

Error while formatting system!
Right now I'd like to install ANY CM that would actually work. Please help!

Flash the correct recovery.

[Completed] stuck in team win recovery all data wiped nexus 7 1st gen

So here is the problem, I have team win recovery v2.4.0.0, I wiped all the system and cache. After that I tried to install the rom I got witch is Autodroid-Grouper-4.4.4.build.1.2 and it failed
it goes like this :
Format and Mount System, Mount Data...
symlinks and permissions...
set_metadata_recursive: Some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/donwload/autodroid-grouper-4.4.4.build.1.2.zip
(status 7)

now I can't connect the tablet to my computer to transfer a different rom in it because the tablet boot in team win

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
TWRP should allow for adb access, you should be able to push a different ROM zip to your device. Such as:

adb push name-of-rom.zip /sdcard/
Then there is also the fire-breather method:

If you go this way, read and understand everything before continuing. Any questions about it, can go in that thread (once you have an XDA account).
