I flashed with CM last January by following this tutorial 'http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/rom-cyanogenmod-10-2-official-nightly-t2382579'
If i restore my phone it'll go to cyanogenmod or to my old stock ROM? All of my apps will go? And my battery is getting drained a lot and I guess its due to candy crush?? Sorry for being noob!

Did you take a backup of the stock ROM ? Then you probably can restore it to stock. Otherwise you will have flash via Odin or something. And yes if you flash stock rom you will lose all your app data but you can save apps then reinstall after reverting back to stock
Take a look at this too

I wish to unroot my phone. I will flash back to my stock rom. Now, because I have all my apps, how do I unroot without wiping my phone? Since I will be unrooted titanium won't work. Would superoneclick work?
So my question is......(once I am back on my stock rom) ....how to I unroot without wiping my phone? Would superoneclick unroot button work? Please help. Thanks.

Sorry, I have read that you will lose all your data when you lock or unlock. Make a good backup.

OK, then I suppose you just uninstall superuser and re-flash stock images of everything but data. I wonder if you need to restore /etc/install-recovery.sh? Actually renaming that back to original and rebooting should install stock recovery, but flashing the stock recovery image file will also work.

Why don't you keep it rooted and install rom like any other when it is released? So you don't have to wait for it to roll to your device

I did a titanium backup before flashing Cleanrom 4.5 to include rpm and radio. I was very happy with cleanrom 2.1 and need to revert back due to poor battery life, very poor. Can someone help with the steps to revert including tibu help? I tried a search, but the search function is temporarily unavailable. I only see restore apps and data in tibu and not sure if that will revert me completely. I also think I need to flash the old rpm and radio, but am not sure. I waited 2 days for the system to stabilize, but no love. I also loaded crap mods and acidmusic mods, but don't think that is the battery drain problem. I am on vacation and need to fix this as I need my phone battery to last. Any help would be appreciated.
what framework was 2.1 built on?

Titanium backup is only for apps and data to revert to 2.1 you will need to flash it in recovery and then flash the modern separately.

Found it on my sd card. As soon as the phone charges I will give it a go. Thanks for the quick responses.
Also don't forget, you will need to do a "Wipe/Factory Reset" before you flash CR2.1

Thanks. I wiped everything. Reverted back and battery life instantly improved. Will wait for a clean rom kernel before I upgrade again.
hey guys the other day i was on the nov 12th nightly of aokp. really liked it but it kept vibrating randomly so i reverted back to my rom of slimbean with the instagatorX kernel. the battery life was terrible so today i decided to go to the nov 15th nightly of aokp. and i did a full wipe and flashed the rom and gapps. and then proceeded to reboot. it boots by displaying samsung on the screen then nothing. so i was going to just go back to the recovery and i use TWRP btw. and it wont boot into recovery. the only thing the phone will do is it will display the charging animation when i plug the phone in but only if the phone is off. and i can also go into odin mode. but thats it. is there anyway to save my phone except reverting back to stock? any help is greatly appreciated.
Why not revert to stock!! Then work your way back! Nice way to spend the evening!

Can you flash a new recovery with Odin? Then maybe access that one to restore to a working ROM.

Nvm went with the Deoxed RomsWell 1.1
CM sucks on the Tab2 atm imo
To get back to stock, you would have had to make a nandroid backup.
Then you'd boot into CWM and go to backup & restore and restore.

I just installed CM10 and had issues with the signal. I guess I'm not made out to have this rom/rooted phone.
Can someone please guide me on what I need so my phone is stock again.
Thanks!
You can flash a stock rooted rom, a tw based rom like Clean Rom or beans, or Odin back to completely stock. You have a lot of options.
