nothing 4 the time being. we wait while devs do there thing with the source code. then they will churn out a kernel configured to work with the desire
Am looking forward to see what devs can do with this
What would happen if we were to put this on oxygen for example????

Htc released the source code, so i am here to share the good news.
This might even help for ics to have the camera working, even tho ics uses kernel 2.6.36 .

The source code has been out for ages, old news. The update yesterday was a carrier refresh that's all

I think so, anyone that makes/develops an Android rom should be considered an Android developer.
I wouldn't say just compiling the rom would make them an Android developer because building it really only requires you to type a few commands into the command line.
i'm torn on that one too does it matter how you're called?
At least!
htcdev.com had publish the kernel sources.
Nice one
Is this finally the One S kernel source code

Why do all the kernel source downloads say VilleC2? Isn't this the S3 version, has anyone seen the S4 kernel on HTCDEV? Or does it even matter for the kernel?
its wierd, thers no t mobile 4.1.1 update, but we got kernel source.
EDIT
villeplus is msm8960 dualcore, it can be used for build custom kernel for OneS ville

I would like to start a project of porting the 3.10 kernel to pyramid
Is it possible ?
Resource
http://www.elinux.org/index.php?title=Kernel_3.4_to_3.10_porting_guide
According to above guide from where do I have to make the changes ??
Do I have to use the 3.10 kernel source as a template and change the 3.4 kernel source according to it or do I have to edit the 3.10 kernel source ?

Thats because not everyone is a kernel dev, theres maybe only 3 r 4 devs still active developing kernels for sensation. Maybe u should pm one, its prob ur best bet.
