Htc released the source code, so i am here to share the good news.
This might even help for ics to have the camera working, even tho ics uses kernel 2.6.36 .

The source code has been out for ages, old news. The update yesterday was a carrier refresh that's all

Well technically they HAVE to release the source code to the kernel since it's a derivative of the Linux kernel and thus releasing the source is required by the GPL.
Is this good?

It could be useful somewhere, but it's not going to help us with the sound issue we are having with custom ROMs right now.
Wow, nice to see we don't have to wait the 90 - 120 days for it.
True... but the speed at which it was released

Am looking forward to see what devs can do with this
What would happen if we were to put this on oxygen for example????

You are about a year late (based on the date of the post):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=843963
The thread you refer to is about the froyo kernel, 2.6.32. HTC just released the Gingerbread kernel, 2.6.35 not too long ago.

Haha dang, my bad. I saw it on android central and thought it would be helpful but oh well

Well I guess I wasn't late then haha but this thread probably should still be deleted. The only people who the source is useful to is devs, and they probably all have it by now anyways.

Quick and maybe noob question. I know htc releases kernel source code. However is there anywhere in the Web to find sense source code?
Cheers
