I updated to 5.0 last night and I am running stock not rooted. I'm currently on a wifi network with cell service. I have been using google voice for SMS and this scenario. Before the upgrade I would get SMS messages through GV over WIFI no problem. After the update to 5.0 i need to go into Hangouts wait about 20 to 30 seconds and new messages will come in. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm looking to make it so messages come in automatically without user intervention.
Edit: Just going into Hangouts isn't enough. I actually need to go into the SMS thread after which any new SMS messages will appear
I just bought a Dodge Journey with the UConnect system. I've connected my Nexus 5 via Bluetooth but I can't seem to get Hangouts messaging to sync. I would like to take advantage of my car's ability to read and send text messages. I've read that SMS over Bluetooth is possible, but Hangouts doesn't seem to work. Has anyone else come across this? If so, any solution to this issue?

Hello!
I have installed Wear Messenger for my Smartwatch 3. If I'm out of range and the Bluetooth connection is broken and I get an SMS in the meantime, and then come back and the connection is automatically rebuilt, then the SMS is not displayed on my watch. With the default application that works without problems. Is this a bug or do I need to adjust something?
Anyone else have "ghost" text message notifications thru their Ford Sync system? Using bluetooth in my 2014 Raptor and when I get a text it will say its from someone else and I usually get 2 alerts for 1 text. Not sure how to fix this but have not tried connecting to another car to see if its just the Sync software in Ford. I click listen to the text and its from a year or two ago haha. Using Textra if that matters

Having no issues on my 2011 Ford Fusion. I'm using the stock message app so it could be an issue with Textra.
