[Q] White line across digitiser - Galaxy Note 3 General

Hi I just bought a note 3 sm n900. While using it for the past 3 days I recently noted a faint white diagonal line across the screen almost as if the screen is cracked. However the glass is fine. Can I ask for a replacement ?

First. Wrong section. Should have been in Q&A.
Taking a guess here. Could be a cracked digitizer.
Ask them to rectify it.

Dust Appearing UNDER the LCD Screen

I just want to ask around the current Galaxy Note 10.1 users if they have seen small specs of dust developing underneath the screen. Inspect your screen under a strong light and see if you can see small specs of dust under the screen which you cannot remove.
No but a search of google will find dust under screen on many devices.

I just got mine back from repair for that very problem. It was fine when I purchased 2 months ago until one of my grandkids dropped it. I ended up with dust particles upper right quadrant most visible when browsing. I called repair and they gave me an rma no questions asked.

I noticed a couple of dust specs under my screen after about 1 week of having the device from new. Not noticed any more since that point (about 5months now).
I have that problem. Probably will rma at some point. But can live with it right now.

This could be because the screen isn't fitted down properly. I suggest taking it back or sending it back if it was done under warrenty, similar problem with my nexus 7. Screen wasnt put down properly. Thats most likely the cause

[Q] Wavy/Wrinkled Screen?

Have any of you noticed a weird wrinkly/wavy screen when you look at it from a sharp angle? The other day I looked over at my S6 sitting on a counter next to a window and noticed what looked like my screen warping with horizontal waves across the surface. As I got closer to it and looked at it straight on I see nothing, but when I look at it (screen off) at a sharp angle with good light, I see these weird waves in the material under the glass.
Is this typical for these types of screens or is this warranty territory?
did you return your phone for warranty? I noticed same thing on my unlocked S6 also. It seems like the glass of the screen is wavy.. Don't see same issue on my Samsung Galaxy TabPro 12.2".
There is an old thread about all the various screen issues with the s6 here

amoled display
my 1 week galaxy note 9 also got the same physical appearance. Walked in to authorize repair and they offer me to replace my display instead 1 to 1 swapping or if I still insist, I've to walk in to the shop where I bought it so I don't really bother myself to replace it since it works perfectly when I turn on my screen at any angle. hmm...what would you do if you are at my place?

Cracked LCD

Hi,
I have a problem with my Nexus 5 screen. It started more than a month ago, when out of nowhere my screen began to show vertical and horizonal lines across the screen. It has gotten worse in the next few days until a part of the screen blacked out completely. It seemed like the LCD is cracked, and not the outer glass.
I have bought a replacement screen from AliExpress, and when I got it and installed it, the problem remained, and it looked very similar to the first screen.
I have contacted the seller and he had sent me another screen that arrived today. I installed it but unfortunately the problem remains.
Attached are photos of the first and second replacements.
Is it a screen-related problem? Should I ask for a refund and get another screen?
Or is it a more serious problem, in the motherboard etc?
Thank you

Glass or screen replacement if touchscreen doesn't t work?

Hello, about a month ago i dropped my s8 and it cracked the Glass, it worked fine until last week when digitizer/touch screen stopped working top part of the display. So the question is, if I manage to separate the glass only from the display, can it fix the digitizer? I don t wanna replace the whole screen because it s just cracked, no black spots or any damage on the display... only cracked glass
No warranty btw.

Not helping, i asked if a new glass would solve the problem, not how to replace it...
You would need to replace the whole unit the digitalizer is stuck with the glass sadly.
