I am try to install a few drivers, but adb, fastboot can't see device, nvflash see as "UnKnown device found".
I don't have CPUID, SBK and have no root, stock firmware 4.1, and locked bootloader.
What can i do ?
Hello.
I have the same problem with my Acer A701. :crying:
I think it's a eMMC failure (bad blocks or temperature damage).
Try to contact the service center...
same with mine
My A701 is in APX mode too. Symtoms as described. Does Anyone ever fixed this?
I'll get in touch with the acer support. Unfortunately my tablet is older than 2 years and I don't have guarentee.
Same problem here, I just want to turn on my A700 and nothing happend. Tried all button convinations and nothing. plugit in my pc and APX mode apears

for thouse who are interested: I got my A701 back from the acer support. Not repaired. They gave me a quotation about €180,- so I decided not to repair the device. I had a phone call with a support manager and he said the whole mainboard must be replaced because it seem that the ROM chip has broken.
I have different problem with the same model A701. G-sensor was broken and also I couldn't charge, I've send to the service, it was on warranty, motherboard was replaced, since that time, it was over year ago, I had many problems with it. After the time I can say it was very bad choice.

Did u try reinstalling the samsung usb drivers for our mobile ?
If it still doesn't solve your issue try connecting it to a different PC but install samsung usb drivers first on it before connecting.
Try & keep us updated if it resolves the issue.
Thanks for ur reply

@ usernome
Did you solve this problem. i have 2 phone in same position.
i just thinking its able to repair via Nvidia Boot Recovery mode.
but what is the procedure or what we have to do ?
0ps!! nothing found
I had the same problem with my phone the day I bought it.... it refused to start for over an hour for the 1st time no matter what I tried... the laptop detected a new apx when connected via usb.. Finally it started with sim and sd card removed... but after that it's been working rather fine apart from a few hiccups here n there... Still its very strange that this is happening..

Hi buddy someone got the same issue without doing anything to the handset, when given to the CC they told it needs a motherboard replacement. I feel it maybe the same in your case & maybe you have no option but to take it to the Samsung service center.
Hope it helps.

We need someone to make nvflash for the R !
Herpderp Defy.
NVFLASH was detecting the phone. The phone's capacitive buttons would light up when the connection was made. But I didn find SGR's Bootloader file anywhere, else would have tried to flash it. I read somewhere today that not clicking "Re-partition" option while using odin might corrupt the bootloader. But it had been weeks since I had used odin(CWM installation). So in no case the bootloader was damaged by odin. The thing to investigate is how come suddenly the phone goes into this mode, without any change in settings or modification ??

well i bricked it a few days after i got it..
i was installing jb update and it reset to asus screen. and it stayed on that screen. i rebooted it and when it came on it imediatly said it was wiping data from device. after that finished it reset to asus screen..
So i tried to get into fast boot usb but if the device is connected to the computer it locks the device and it never starts fastboot.
so i unplugged from pc and tried going to fastboot usb and it says it loaded, but my computer wont recognize the device when i plug it in..
im sick right now..
anyway to get this thing back operational? it was rooted and had clockwork on it but i can't get to cw with power and volume pressed.
what can i do?
had the same here. you have to update the drivers manually.
Go to the Device Manager. There should be a device called Transformer. Right Click and update the drivers manually.
Well I've had no luck. My computer won't recognize the tablet as a device at all. It seems that the tablet errors if connected and it locks up.
Anyone have any luck with Asus repair? Think they would fix it for me?
install asus pc pad for the drivers. there's a dl link in the asus support site. after that fastboot should be recognized. all you have to so then would be to flash a recovery specifically for jelly bean.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T
Computer would not recognize the pad as a device, so after it died i put it in the box and prepared to ship it for fix to asus.. then i read a forum about power loss resetting bootloader. and i plugged it up after a quick charge. usb is recognized and i was able to get twrp on it again.
im installing 9.4.3 because i dont want to brick this thing again. wish me luck..
help reinstalling Operating system to tf300t
i have an unlocked asus tf300t i had bricked.
since i have managed to get twrp functioning on the system. now i'm having trouble flashing my os.
the bootloader says it's 10.4 at startup.
does this mean i have to flash jelly bean update through twrp? will it brick if i do that?
any assistance would be greatly appreciated. i'm 5 days into this. owned my tablet 7. so im sad..
Happened to me too. I'm hoping that ASUS will fix it for a reasonable price. Otherwise I'm just going to get a Nexus 7.
if you just bought it a few days ago maybe you can exchange it,
in any case as said before, try installing drivers, changing USB ports, trying on another PC
what bootloader do you have?
After the battery on the unit died I got fastboot working. I fast booted the appropriate ROM for my boot loader and all has been great.
Solved by letting battery die completely

Hi everybody, i would appreciate if any can help me to get my son's Lenovo iDeaPad back
originally device had Android 3.1.x but i want to upgrade it to a higher version. found a handfull of ROMs online but i picked the official upgrade at Lenovo webite.
I followed their PDF file to the letter but for some reason flashing stopped at some point while sending a file to device. after more than 30min i decided to unplug K1 pad and tried to re-do the whole process again.
plug K1, push it to recovery mode (2 LEDs light at home button are on) and windows detects it (under device manager, it shows NVIDIA USB boot-recovery driver for Mobile devices). BUT, once i start Flash.bat (or any other flash file), windows loses connection to device .. NVIDIA USB driver disappears and i had to unplug K1, turn it off and push i back to recovery mode for windows to detect it again
Running the nvFlash commands one by one i noticeds once nvflash command try to start, driver disappears and i get error "USB device not found" !!!! any idea would help, thanks to you all
Same issue here!
Well... I have the same issue. I tried everything and anything I could find on line to no avail.
At this point I am more than willing to pay some "expert" in the forum to unbrick the dammed thing, otherwise I just own a nice paper weight.
Anyone interested? We can exchange emails and arrange a payment method (Paypal preferred).
I will ship my Lenovo K1 tablet for repair, pay for the service and send a pre-paid return envelope via FedEx...
Please help!!! I used it EXTENSIVELY for work.
Thanks all.
Jorge

For starters: This tablet has absolutely no mods on it, it wasn't rooted, and the bootloader was stock, everything is stock. I don't have any backups of anything. It was purchased May 2012.
The story: Came home last week and saw an sd card on my desk, put it in my tablet, turned it on. Then I realised that the sd card I had just used was one that I previously had formatted with Homebrew channel for the Wii weeks earlier. Before I could take it out the damage had been done, the tablet was stuck on the acer screen. I left it running in hopes that it would work but after leaving it for 10+ hours on the acer screen I gave up. Turned it on the other day and now it's just a black screen. When plugged into the computer the tablet is running in APX mode. I have managed to retrieve my CPUID from a script in Ubuntu but I haven't managed to find an sbk converter.
So in my searching I hear a lot of mixed information, that the tablet can't be flashed from APX mode and some saying it can be. Some say it will only work if you have backups of your bootloader etc etc. I just can't figure out were to go from here.
I have used the reset button.
I have tried recovery pwr+down button.

There's a huge thread just for this, but here goes.
You can flash in apx mode, it may or may not save it, we've never tried, see below.
You can't use apx mode because we don't have the SBK to allow use of it, Acer kept it secret, so while an apx mode flash may save it, we can't do it. The info your stating is for the a500 which they cracked the SBK for. The a100 once bricked stays bricked until a motherboard replacement is done.

Really sorry about that, don't know how I missed it, I really have been looking around for information for a few weeks now.
Regardless I guess the only option is to scrap it, hack it, or pack it away.

Getting CPUID?
When plugged into the computer the tablet is running in APX mode. I have managed to retrieve my CPUID from a script in Ubuntu but I haven't managed to find an sbk converter.
Hey. I have an acer a500 and I am also stuck in APX mode but I do not have a CPUID. Would you be willing to explain how you where able to get it from APX mode, and would I able to do it from windows?

If your A500 was ever plugged into your PC there's supposed to be a way to get it that way. If not there is a method to get it from APX mode but the tool for it needs to be built and runs in linux. The first command, any command, thrown at the bootloader in APX mode will respond with the CPUID.
That doesn't help for the A100 as we can't get the SBK the same way the A500 does, but the A500 can still get the SBK from the CPUID. You'll have better luck in the A500 forums, though.

Ok. Thank-you very much! I was actually able to find it in an archive (I had written it down in the past, but couldn't find the file) Making lots of backups this time.
My tablet got stuck on the boot screen (a 'bootloop') and so I downloaded the Swedish instructions, tools and firmware image files from the manufacturer's website. I installed the driver on my laptop, connected the tablet, flashed the latest firmware and got it working. Annoyingly, the Chrome browser would not work whatever I did, and eventually I tried to flash an older firmware image onto the tablet. This killed it completely. The screen shows nothing at all; you can just about tell that the backlight has come on due to a dim glow, but the screen is still blank.
The worst thing is that the laptop no longer detects that the tablet is connected to it. It does not even report it as an unknown device. This is what really worries me.
I've read other threads on this forum where Flashtools is advised for bricked phones, but will this work with a tablet where the computer cannot even detect the device is attached?
Any help will be much appreciated many thanks.
Go to a repair shop is the only solution
i can do any thing except damaging your device. GOD DOES NOT DO THAT

Yes, as @droid_god said the only way is a repair shop because they use those jtag devices to fix your phone.
