2.connect to internet and run app.
3.turn on usb debugging and unknown sources , then connect your phone to the pc.
4.after downloading and installing driver , you see this:
5.press root buttom.
6.after rooting you see this:
if you want to UnRoot press remove root.
finish.

and knox gets triggerd :/
its only for those people who do not care about knox

This will not work on n9005 note 3 firmware 4.4.2.I already tried. In normal mode doesn't trip knox but don't work give error and ask you to put the phone in download mode but that trip knox.Sony Xperia doesn't have knox or bootloaders and other thing like note 3 that's why this work for it.

I think it works without tripping knox for CANADIAN MJ4 users.

will this work on 4.3 without tripping knox? will this unroot 4.4.2?
thx

Hi there,
Did use it from the first moment on, without tripping Knox.
I am on 4.3, XXUBMJ3 N9005 type GN3.
Have rooted and unrooted several times without any problems.
I am still waiting to upgrade to 4.4.x, since I don't want the bootloader issues and am very happy with my rooted 4.3.
Regards,

Did any one try it on the Indian Note 3 ( SM N - 900) 4.4.2 rom. Does it trip the knox warranty?

Download mode never trips knox, I think the user was referring to using the above root method which will flash something which requires the phone to be in download mode.

If you try with kingo will fail in normal mode and then it ask you to try in download mode and there say this may void your waranty.

I just checked and Kingo gave warning that it will trip knox and void warranty. Kingo tried to root by first flashing custom recovery so I decided not to go ahead. Will wait for someone to develop rooting Indian SM N900 running 4.4.2 without warranty void

We can flash via ODIN.
I will try it but I don´t want to lose root so I will wait a way to flash via Mobile Odin....
about time!

I don't know what he did wrong that caused that. In my case I've flashed it twice already and everytime I've encountered no problem at all.
So if we have Canadian note 3....its fine to use mobile odin and this link..... Who else can verify
MB865/ST-ATT/4.4.2 BMM
SM-N900W8/ST/Rooted knox 0x0
Kindle Fire HDX 8.9/ATT/Rooted
Instead of using the Mexico CSC, replace it with a CSC from a Canadian ODIN ROM. That's what some users have done
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2612878&page=12
its all fixed now as others have said how to do it. all seems to be working fine, and its rooted, etc.
Someone tried without CSC file?

I'm quite sure because I've done it 3 times already, I mean flashing Mexican 4.4.2 to try 4.4.2 based roms then back to 4.3 as wifi/bt/nfc doesn't work on custom roms. Don't know which files to extract from stock rom to flash on custom roms to make them work.

It is possible to go back to 4.3. Even better, if your Knox warranty bit is 0x0 when you update to 4.4.2 using this method, you can then install CWM and custom roms and still Knox will stay at 0x0.
So can i use this to my 9005? This is official right? And after that im going back to 4.3. Is it possible? I know that this is a silly question and only for 900W8. Forgive my ignorace. I just hate kitkat.

Sounds promising keep us updated

KNOX NOTE 3.tar is corrupted and get a message saying unexpected end of archive when opening in winrar. Maybe this was done on purpose as to erase the knox bit? But I'm still kind of nervous of getting a brick by flashing a corrupted file.
Is this only for international Note 3? I am on the US Sprint note 3.

Thanks it is working as I got it done :good:. Was on "alexega_4.4.2_Edition_XXUENJ1" and then updated to "N900_Lollipop_DrKetan_Custom_ROM_L15". After using Lollipop for 2-3 days just restored through nandroid backup (TWRP) and was with Lollipop BL. First pic is after the Knox reset and second is once I flashed original "N900XXUENH1_N900OJVENG2_N900XXUENG1_HOME" ROM from Samsung :

It works fine. Knox counter is reset to 0
I am currently using stock version of kitkat and had a Knox counter as 1.
My phone was not rooted when I tried these steps.
First flash step would stop half way through ,however ignore and go ahead with Step 2 and it works like charm. Now my knox counter is set to 0.
Do they all get flashed as bootloaders or what?
Is this for the N9005?

Docomo Galaxy S6 SC-05G root?

Thanks, I actually was able to flash TWRP (the normal one didn't work, but somehow the TWRP for Sprint worked) and install SuperSU from there. Maybe the Docomo S6 and Sprint S6 have similar hardware. I tripped KNOX and didn't care much .
One thing though, I wish I can flash a custom ROM like this one : http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...t/temporary-ram9200-ofe-thread-5-1-1-t3169592. Although this one is for Sprint, maybe it will work for my phone, too. How risky it is to try to flash this if I already have a nandroid backup from TWRP?
Status update?

I just picked up an s6 from Docomo on sunday because I dropped my s4 into a puddle of standing water and the display is fried.
I'd like to root, but I'm wondering, how did your root go?
I know we're not exactly supported here...
Also, do you think it really matters if we trip Knox repeatedly? It voids our warranty, sure, but with the insurance that we have here, you can simply smash your phone with a brick and pay the 5000 yen deductible to get a shiny, new phone, correct?
Anyway, I'm curious what your thoughts are on this, and if you have any useful info for someone newer than you to the s6.
Cheers,
Richard
Have you managed to root your samsung and without angering the mighty knox? I also live in Japan, I'm shopping for a sim-free 3gb ram phone that's good and easily rootable (other than nexus) . Anyone know a good suggestion? buying overseas models seems problematic because most don't support all main docomo bands. so I have to stick to versions sold in Japan );
Hi,

Man, give the method right now! I'm also can tell you something more about rooting of Android 6.0 on my Note 4!!!
I doubt they really rooted without custom kernel as no binaries can enable rootfs inbuilt in Zimage or probably its too early to say anything.
But try as there is not way in Kernel Ramdisk either after the research.
And its irrelevant to claim root without kernel source for note 4 exynos android 5.1.1

Sorry for the misunderstanding. We all will thank you and donate something. I will be the first to donate but until now it does not seems that your post is promising something. Anyway, we cross the fingers that soon you will give as a way to root SG N910S on android 5.1.1 . We do not doubt that 5.1.1 on SG N910S will be rooted but as you may understand we want something quick. This may not be realistic but ...you know that the way "fanatics" are. Not possible anymore to make kernel to permissive by just editing ramdisk as samsung removed that option long ago due knox enhancement .
Now only way left is by making fresh kernel from source change SELINUX flag.

I have downloaded the Vodafone firmware for s7 edge. The problem is that it has MultiLanguage CSC. I need italian setup but at the start it is in deutsch Language and so I can not use Volte with Vodafone Italy.
Dumb question probably, but is all this legit? Root and everything? I hear ROM development isn't as great on the Exynos chips, but coming from having an only rooted ATT S4, the international S7 would be real nice.
