How can I slim down a Rom for incredible lightness? - General Questions and Answers

I don't use my one XL as a phone so I'd like to do everything I can to slim down either a stock or cm Rom and use it exclusively as a media player. Is there any way to take out all phone-related features out and it be stable?

CleanROM for sure. It is probably the best Sense based ROM I've flashed on any phone. The dev is absolutely great at what he does and is incredibly active and responsive to people's questions/suggestions/request. Dude made me fall in love with my phone.

Sbeam

Has anyone ported s beam over to the hox? My friend got an s3 and its pretty cool. Really I just want to use it for sending pictures.

the hox has android beam. enable it in settings->wireless & networks->enable NFC->android beam->switch to on
Android beam is much more limited but I'm starting to think most of the features in the sgs 3 came from them having the jelly bean pdk early.
That is an interesting thought... So can jbean NFC pictures?

Help me to choose what I need, HTC only!

Hi everyone. Now I have One X. And I like to choose wich Butterfly and One. Design Butterfly is greater for me...

One is a lot better than butterfly!
Go with that.
The One, definitely. Unless you REALLY like the design of the butterfly. But even then, you should still get the One.

[Q] Build prop for XL same as AT&T

Android noobie here. I just would like to ask if the build prop for One XL is the same as that of AT&T One X? I was wondering if Facebook Home app is compatible with One XL without changing any build prop. Thanks!
It works fine installing from market. In my honest opinion it is junk..
