Sbeam - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Has anyone ported s beam over to the hox? My friend got an s3 and its pretty cool. Really I just want to use it for sending pictures.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium

the hox has android beam. enable it in settings->wireless & networks->enable NFC->android beam->switch to on

Android beam is much more limited but I'm starting to think most of the features in the sgs 3 came from them having the jelly bean pdk early.

That is an interesting thought... So can jbean NFC pictures?

Data widgets

Just saw you can add widgets to the homescreen. I haven't seen anyone post about it. You can do a data widget that has wifi, mobile data, gps, settings. There's more too!!! Finally I dont have to go to settings to turn it off and on.

Sweet, great find. One less thing the Galaxy brings to the table. I came from an S2, so it was a rough choice for a while, it keeps getting to be an easier one for other people, with finds like this.

SG3 for sure. My SG2 running at 1.5ghz with Mystic Glory 4.1 scores almost 5k on Quadrant and beats the HOX.
how did you do that
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I would go with the One X, I think it has a better design and better looking software (I hate touchwiz!) Although I do think the motion cotrols on S3 look pretty awesome. And I think they have gotten to the point where the speed and resolution doesn't matter Anymore.

Galaxy S 3. HTC one S is a more sensible choice on the HTC side
Sent from my U8150 using XDA
SGS 3
and let's not forget that the SGS 3 has NFC
I would go for One X, because of its design and sense. But, probably, SG3 is the most favoured device for now.

Was giving you an easier alternative that many people prefer but whatever, go ahead and be a douche.
Just pull the app and push it to system, not that hard.

This is a discussion about my next upgrade.

I've read a lot about the Nexus 4 & have heard little to no negative things about it. I've about done had it with my one x right now, It's a good phone I just like change, a lot of change. What should I do? I have an upgrade soon & I'm about ready to just order a Nexus 4 7 a Nexus 7. Any thoughts on any other phones that could be better?
I'd wait for tomorrow with HTC new line up and then in March for Samsung's. I wouldn't get the nexus personally right now as I'm sure Google would be releasing another this year. Plus no lte is a huge no for me.
