I'm having an issue with sound on my desire s. The sound just stops working after a small amount of time. There comes no sound from the speaker or headphones. No ringing also. The only thing working is call sound.
I have always to reboot the whole device to get sound working. This issue returns with every ROM I've used. Also it seems that Android versions aren't affecting it as well. Is there any solution to this problem?

The interesting part is, that even when no sound is coming from that speaker, if I get a call and turn on the speaker for that call it's working.

LoL... that was quick!! Lost another one to the One X
Has anyone else noticed that the stock browser seems to set itself as default for anything it can? If I click on a YouTube Link, it opens up in the browser by default instead of the YouTube app picking it up. I go into the Browser and Clear Defaults, but it doesn't make a difference.
Any ideas?
Go into you settings, then click app associations and choose you prefered default apps.

That's one annoying thing I notice. Not just with YouTube, but with maps and Google play links as well.

i dont have app associations in settings. im on rogers 1.73

The problem with YouTube links was only on 1.73 as far as I know and fixed in 1.82

This is due to the Apple law suit. Go read in the development section. You have to delete an HTC apps then clear defaults and you'll be able to select app associations beyond the options given.
This was actually the reason HOX got held up at customs last month.

Here I found it.
Go to /system/app and rename HtcLinkifyDispatcher.apk to .bak or something. Reboot and goto app settings and clear defaults for the browser.
Next time you click YouTube or other apps it should ask you what you want to open it with.

It's force closing. I'm trying to figure out why it doesn't want to play well with imagio's Rom. I'm just missing something lol. Not much on the social media thing but I do like the Rom.

Yea I was gonna say I believe this is something at imagio is working on as well in the next update. Nothing worse than having your gallery trying to use data to sync all of your contact's pictures lol.

I don't use my one XL as a phone so I'd like to do everything I can to slim down either a stock or cm Rom and use it exclusively as a media player. Is there any way to take out all phone-related features out and it be stable?
