it solely depends on the earphones you use, on their quality.
I myself had used senheisers cx 180, they deliver really good performance with magnus.
on the hardware and software part of view, their sound quality is really good.

Just Install Poweramp and keep its Equalizer on and Viper FX with High sound drivers- and see the difference. Even stock earphones will produce good bass and sound quality will be superb.

SkullCandy Inkd 2.0 with mic... Mind blowing

I am using my Xperia phone Earphone, Much better sound than the mmx one.

Is the Canvas Magnus better than MOTO G?
I found many similarities but snapdragon takes an edge.
Camera is something which disappoints in Moto G but its good enough for a cellphone I guess.
Is there anything really good im magnus than MotoG?
And another que.
Does the 4.5 inches screen really look that smaller than 5inches?
P.s. I dun have giagantic hands.

problem
i have a micromax a 117 (white). i'm facing a problem with headphone as it got the AJH pin like my old nokia 710 phone.
i have a nokia adapter ( called ad-87U) to solve it temporarily. but i need a good headphone model with AJH pin.
[[ in AJH pin the ground and mic defines the opposite of normal headphone pin ]]

Thanks for your comments
Thanks for your comments,
I was having a doubt as when I plugged some other brands earphones like nokia etc some of them were detected but no sound, or only one side earplug giving soung. So I was confused to buy som good earphones and now going for Soundmagic ES18 ..

Im using Sony MDR XB 30 EX with viper4android it gives best sound and mindblowing bass !!!

MTK Chipset DAC
There's a saying in audio processing realm (actually it holds good for any DSP realm) -
"The best sound is only as good as the weakest link in the processing/rendering chain..."
DACs in MTK 6589 have been anything but astounding. Neither the output stage AMP has power with respectable SNR to drive audiophile grade equipment.
As such it does not make much sense to buy professional/audiophile grade headphones/ear-phones if you're going to use it with MTK DACs. You'll be just disappointed! One thing I immediately notice with Tegra and MTK chipset DACs is that high frequencies are gently rolled off from about 14 KHz. So all that sparkling highs won't be perceived on such devices. On a different note - somehow I liked MTK chipset audio section better than Tegra 3 ones (Canvas Magnus A117 vs Xolo Play) - could be subjective.
I am assuming the question is more lined towards having a decent listening experience on the move. Try any Sennheiser earphone whose impedance is ~32 ohms and decent frequency response. Case in point - MX 375. Amongst the earphones/headphones I have, this one sounds best with Magnus. Sony earphones even in the range of ₹ 9000 have very low impedance and as such demand a powerful AMP to perform at their best.
Only exception is Sony Headphones MDR XD series (XD 200/300). They have high impedance (~ 64 ohms) and are very sensitive. You'll love these for the punch or even for watching movies. Shame Sony discontinued them few years back. See if you chance across similar/better alternatives.
Just keep in mind to check for the impedance if punch power is what enthralls you.

i suggest nokia wh 208 for true bass effect including minimum bass effects also !

try this.

HTC Desire compatible cheap headphones?

can you recommend me any cheap headphones compatible with desire? i've broken 2 times and they would be original but infact were very bad quality.i had used nokia 5800's headphone 1 year and was pretty solid.so no need to pay too much money for a headphone for me coz almost they are all same and am looking for a cheap one.from ebay or any other site please.
Hmm the following
Bose MIE2i
Monster Turbine In Ear Speakers (w/ mic)
Sennheiser CX 95 or CX 300
Beats by Dr. Dre

For headphones anything will work on the Desire if it's 3.5 mm. Just buy anything.

There are many different models and designs of cheap headphones that are available in market. These headphones will allow you to listen to all of your music in privacy. Cheap headphones are just discount rates and not the one with low quality. These headphones are affordable especially for them who is looking for low budget.
Headphone recommendation
I got a pair of Skullcandy Titan that are decent headphones with a mic built in. The button on the mic lets you answer calls and skip tracks on the music player and sound quality is OK although you need to experiment with the different tips to get a good fit.
They are on offer from Play.com for about £14

using Sennheiser CX 400 and sound is great ;-)
Cheap and good headphones
Has anyone here used the Philips SHH7810. Got it here in Mumbai, India for as little as INR 1,150 (which is about $25). Sounds great and works perfectly with my Desire.
Here is how to get to the image (they won't let me post it):

I'm having to borrow my brother's 3GS headphones atm, as they have a mic, and like you all my headsets with mics are broken
They sound terrible, bass drowns out everything else.
I bought a pair of Sony in-ear buds in a Tesco sale, should have been 25, mine for 9 quid HMV do a nice colourful (they come in black too) range of in ear buds, radiopaq I think there called, tenner brand new, I used them all summer was very happy with them
If you need a mic, you could try getting a Galaxy S headset off of eBay, there supposed to be very good, in-ear again so hardly any sound leakage, compared to others that is
I've been using the same Sennheiser CX300s for about 4 years now and they were the greatest investment ever
AU$70 and I still use them with my laptop and phone.
Unfortunately finding the old first series ones are hard and apparently the CX300 IIs sounds crap in comparison. However Sennheiser do have similar models with built-in mic now which would be more suited to phone use
Zagg Earphones by a long shot... they have the best sound quality and are extremely durable.

logitech 400vi
Just got the logitech 400vi headset today.

Very nice headset, and great audio quality. The controls are hit and miss. I'm running Oxygen Test ROM so i don't know if this has any bearing on the interface between the headset and device.
The play/pause works fine. As does skip track. But the volume up/down doesn't and neither does previous track. Making and accepting calls works a treat.
I wonder if there's any app that can assign buttons to tasks on android?
Nokia BH-214 - 100% compatible, good quality, bought it for 25 euro.

Headphones are common devices which are used with different kinds of multimedia gadgets. These headphones are very useful if you feel to listen any music in privacy. A headphone is the perfect solution when you want to attach a speaker with your portable device so that you can move around freely listening music.

My last piece of work
A few days ago bought Nokia BH-505. Nice piece of art, no wires at all, next/prev tracks, volume, stop/pause, answer call controls. I can't say it's cheap (around $80), but I think it costs its money.

You have a good taste in phones. I'm actually thinking about pick up a 240 on amazon, I'm not gonna lie, 100 bucks is pretty tempting. ALso had a sr80i before(left them in my hotel while I was on my trip in Singapore).....
Anyway, I'm more of a on-to-go person, I travel alot. So this is what I got
V-Moda Vibes
In ear, awesome bass, and really durable. I've had them for a few months and haven't had an issue. Never knew what they were capable of until I listened to "Lil Wayne - Nightmares of the Bottom" with the "beats mod" from the XE software. Bought them for about $75, but they're no longer available.
As far as Beats Headphone....eww!!!
skull candy Titan with Sensation head set controls!!
I wish I had cool headphones like those: (
But I plan in getting either the v-moda remix remote or UE 600vi and im getting blueant embrace for on ear headphones

Holy sheeet! Finally a thread that isn't about BEATZ. Newbs think that having beats make them an audiophile and that BASS IS EVERYTHINGGGZZZZ OMGZZZ.
Anyways here's my MS-1i, hoping to make a C-Moy amp soon and maybe get a headphone with a bigger soundstage, any to recommend ?
Im not a big spender on a pair of headphones but I have many pairs more than this I just don't use them anymore.
The skull candys were about $50. The amplifier requires a battery and it is heavy. The amplifier detached itself from my cloths and put a lot of stress on the audio jack so now only one earphone works. I put it up because I can still tweak it to get the other earphone to work and it has okay bass.
This is what I am currently using. Its nice because I can listen to music wirelessly (if that is a word) and the sound is alright with the right equalizer app.
If I am able to afford it, are there awesome headphones that are bluetooth or wireless in any way? And how much would they send my back?
Here's my headphone.
What would you guys recommend, in ear wise for around £70-80? Been looking at Shure se215 and a few of the klipsch S4 series
Cheers
I use these, only mine are in white - Creative EP-630.
It's really impressive what sound these babies can produce ..

Sennheiser CX870!
These are the ones I have got them for about £50, checked them now and they're down to £40. RRP is £70, not sure how they compare with klipsch but they are good.
Love my AKG K701!
I run with Bose IE2 they are pretty decent sound but ridiculously comfortable in ear headphones

The AKG Quincy Jones line is fantastic. Waiting for klipsch to release their S4A now though

Yeah a mate of mine has just ordered them, not very isolating are they? apparently from another thread on hear a guy took them back as he could've handle the background noise they let in.
Think im also going to wait for the S4a's, emailed klipsch and said they're taking orders at the end of the month!
I use Audio Technica heafphones.. awesome headphones

How do I feel about Axgio Sprint?-An review about Axgio Sprint

Maybe you have a lot of electronics on your hand, such as smart phones、tablets、smart watchs and so on. So you surely need a pair of good earphone to fit with them.
Specially if you love playing sports like running or workout with listening to music ,a pair of bluetooth headphone is wonderful for you. Now I am anxious to recommend you a new product-Axgio Sprint which is marked bluetooth sports headphone .It can be your good friend when you run or exercise ,which you can trust me completely. Next,I will share my experience using the headphone with you.

Comfort
The comfort of the headphone impressed me most. It has two memory ear tips ,that means the ear tips can adjust the shape and size by themselves according to your ear canal. And you can choose the most suitable earbuds ,because there are 7 pair Memory (S/M/L) & Silicone (XS/S/M/L) ear tips, specially designed a XS size Silicone ear tips for people having smaller ear canal than average, so you don't have to readjust them endlessly, it's the perfect workout buddy .
I climbed the mountains last saturday ,and I listened to the music with wearing the earphone long for four hours while climbing the mountains .And it did surprise me that my ears didn't feel uncomfortable after a long time wearing the headphone, compared with past experience with other earphones.
Performance
When it comes to the performance of the headphone ,I can promise you it won't let you down. One feature of this pair of headphone is its isolating stereo sound. It produces rich, detailed sound across the audible spectrum. Whether you’re listening to classic rock, soulful jazz, or the bright airy sounds of an orchestra, it's going to sound great coming from the Axgio sprint.
Suit for workout[IMG="product image"]
What is most important is that this pair of headphone is especially designed for workout or running. Think about that ,when you run or make a workout with listening to the music which can make you more energetic or exciting, a pair of bluetooth headphone just meets all your demand. The Axgio Sprint is designed with over-the-ear earphone line that can be adjusted to your ear shapes, which makes the earphone stabler, and you won't worry about it drops when you exercise.
According to my experience, the Axgio Sprint can last at least 8 hours when you listen to music, it's great considering its compact size.
Here is a news about Axgio Sprint which specially mentioned its battery life. It' s a truth that the long battery life of Axgio is indeed a marked feature.http://www.geeksnack.com/2015/09/18/bluetooth-earphones-with-great-battery-life-for-40/
I got one from http://www.tinydeal.com/axgio-px3294a-p-156223.html, The bass performance is decent among the sports headphone, although less resistant to sweat than my jaybird which cost me more than 100 dollar, it is good considering its long battery life.

Which earphone is good for max pro m1
Ubon ? phone
Boat earphones
JBL C200SI are the best.
Great bass great sound quality and it has a mic.
I am using boat earphones
skullcandy jib with mic
hi i recently purchased skullcandy jib(with mic) for INR900, they work really well. good sound quality with decent bass and 2yrs warranty.
Imo the earphones by boat are decent quality and have low prices. It's also comfortable to use while gaming because of the bend at the plug in part.
Using sony xb90ap. Due to the high impedance, volume level is a little lower than the other headphones but its ok for me.

For the low quality kind of phone / audio processing, any headphone will do. Don't expect a high-priced high-quality cans to boost audio quality or hearing experience or low quality stock buds to deteriorate an already mediocre output.

Best buy from amazon under rs399

A bit off-topic, but why is so difficult to find a decent earphone (with mic) but with asymmetrical cable?
I currently have a very good with a superb sound quality Sennheiser CX300 but without microphone. For the situations I need the mic, I just pick the ones that came with my ZB606kl, which are weak and the cord on the neck produces more noise than the environment
I've been searching from times to times and really can't find what I really want.
Philips SHE1505 works great for me.

@Ahmedstarr93 Are you on the latest Android Pie stable ROM?
have you tried the active noise cancellation from huawei?
I was on oneplus 3 previously and was using audiotechnica earphones which used to work great for my personal use. With MI A2 the problem is the USB c to headphone adapter. The sound quality gets degraded a lot due to it. I'm still looking for alternative USB c earphones. The one you mention I can't find them in India e-commerce site.
Does any fellow India direct me towards good USB c earphones which one can buy in India?

Just buy Google pixel dongle. Or you can by hidizs sonata dac from AliExpres (better than pixel dongle). No USB C headphone is better than your audio Technica one at this moment.
U may try type c pixel ear buds! Available through Flipkart!

I agree that any good jack headphone is better than most bluetooth ones. And also better than many c-type headphones.
I think that if you already own good headphones, is better (and cheaper) to buy a DAC dongle. I'm sure that hidizs sonate is great. I haven't tested it.
I can recommend Venture Odyssey DAC. Is very cheap and it sounds really great with our A2. Its signal to noise ratio is worse than hidizs's (113 vs 98 dB), but it is way cheaper.
The thing is that the combination of A2 DAC plus the passive USB-C dongle provided with the A2 sounds awful. Things are way better with another DACs.
Best regards
