[HTC One S][VilleC2] Can not flash any ROMs 4.4.x - HTC One S

Hi guys,
I'm using an HTC One S chip S3. I followed this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-s/c2-development to update my one' ROM to 4.4.x to experience more about android but I couldn't.
_ My TWRP is 2.6.3.0
_ I've tried:
1. Cyanogenmod 11 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2527962: The ROM was flashed successfully, but my phone was stuck at the Logo, I tried again and again
2. PAC-man 4.4 [AOSP] at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2271635: the same with Cyanogenmod 11.
3. ViperC2 5.1.0: at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2531065: I couldn't flash this one the first time, the second time I flashed successfully but couldn't turn my phone on. Thanks God I still could flash into Recovery mode by pressing Power button and Volume - at the same time.
4. Carbon Rom at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2592988: Successfully but no 3G
5. SlimKat at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2598634: Successfully but no Wifi
I've read many thread about flashing ROMs, and tried many different ways to flash 4.4.x ROMS but all failed.
What can I do now? I am new here so I need your advices so bad

Are you s-on or s-off? If you're s-on you need to flash the kernel (boot.img) manually via fastboot commandline

ok, I'll read more about this and post a photo of new ROM on my device.
I greatly appreciate, @LS.xD

Done!
Thank you very much @LS.xD, I've just flashed the CyanogenMod 4.4.2
After flashing the ROM in Recovery mode, I use #One_S_All-In-One_Kit_v4.0 to flash Kernel and that works.

Yep, my device's running the CyanogenMod 11 now, but one problem is when I turn Wifi off, I cannot turn it on again and it needs to be restarted to turn the Wifi on.

Files must be encrypted for fxp dev,s only untill release. that,s was front page won,t show any cm12 for e3(flamingo) it must be worse than even android L aosp.
Use SONY AOSP instead of CM12
I think its a better choice to follow official Sony AOSP Lollipop 5.0 method instead using Cyanogenmod 12. It doesnt matter if is D22XX (XX mean 02/03/06/12/43)
http://developer.sonymobile.com/kno...e/open-devices/list-of-devices-and-resources/
https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/device-sony-flamingo
Also, AOSP is closer to pureness in android, because even cyanogenmod have useful tricks that are not so pure.
@Exerath Try the AOSP and tell us!

@lexiyuri
I tried AOSP 5.0 BUT the only thing that makes me go back to kitkat is the knew bug with photos, If I can't take photos with my phone, I just can't work (I need to take photos oftens because I work on a "chantier" (not sure about the word but know as Dockyard too)
I would be happy to use AOSP and a working camera, if possible having root too so, if you have the solution --- Tell me how please
UP
I'm using 'AOSP_L_150129_flamingo' rooted - no camera, no gps ,no video and no recovery, Wifi was working but now it's not, bluetooth is good. I then flashed the boot image from 'Cwm20150203-UNOFFICIAL-flamingo' and now have recovery and still rooted.
So lots o good things but it's not usable yet.

hi,
I tried to flash FXP cm12 to my phone, and followed by this steps:
- I downloaded FXP-cm-12-20150209-UNOFFICIAL-flamingo.zip from here.
- Extract boot.img from zip.
- Flashed boot.img to my D2203. ( fastboot flash boot boot.img )
- Turn on the phone.
- When I pressed the Vol-Down key, when the purple light is on, I thought, the CWM will come, but it isn't.
- Nothing happened.
1st question: what did I do wrong?
2nd question: how can be flash the FXP cm12 to the D2203?
3rd question: from where can be download the working(!!) boot.img to cm12?
Thanks for reply.
ps: of course, at the end of the process, the rooted boot.img went back to the phone, and now it's working well...

ps: are you tried too?
Return to stock inmediately and wait until sony releases an official lollipop. Stock is nice and you can use it everyday
But if you want lollipop so bad
Currently, FXP CM12 is not working well, but AOSP is working with bugs (no camera, no wake up) but is better than FXP CM12
I was dowload the FXP-cm-12-20150302-UNOFFICIAL-flamingo.zip,
from here.
Extract boot.img from zip, and flashed. ( fastboot flash boot boot.img )
Does anyone know how to, which keys press exactly to get CWM recovery?
VolumeUp or VolumeDown don't working.
I have D2203.
CM11 and CM12 now working on D2203
CM11 no bugs, everything working (NFC dont count as bug cause its just useless...)
CM12 almost same bugs as AOSP + no sound in rear speaker

Flash MIUI 6 version instead of 7.
Then try CM again.
But flashing MIUI should be done via Fastboot, so be sure to get the right version.

Do you guys flash the miui 6 room using fFASTBOOT? Refer this link for the tutorial LINK
Fastboot rom is different from recovery rom because it has all the necessary files to return your device to complete stock rom as it includes recovery img, modem files etc. Try to flash the 6.6.10.0 or 6.6.5.0. Good luck
k
okay i will try.....Thank you
looping problem
i was burning my midnights oil for haplessely flashing Cm12.1.... nothing was happening...
later found out that i was not using miui dev ROM. then downloaded both 5.1 as well as 6.6...
still stuck at languages section... GAPPS was not the correct one. downloaded arm64 5.1 stock... voila.... running smooth since yesterday....
thanks @dh.harald & @omerjerk
now ready to try CM13
When you want a clean install, use the fastboot one. It seems to be a non-system partition problem, thus try flashing fastboot rom and see its outcome
I am trying to flash cm12 with miui 7 but it gone into bootloop then i restore into stock by using twrp recovery it comes to normal. Then i tried flashing resurrection rom it hangs at language point then it again it goes into bootloop. Plz tell me how to flash ROM..??

Use MIUI 6.6.10.0 or 6.6.5.0 and then flash any desired ROM on top of it. Else you may face problems and bootloops.
Yea its working thx
First tried installing ROM, went to boot loop, since there is no 6.6 ver I installed 6.11 dev version. later I tried to install all the ROMs(nameless, AICP, CM13, Bean, Resurr..) None worked. Now back to miui 7. Damm slow & pissed..

Dear,

Cheers for the effort, but I can't get the rom to boot on my g906s. When I tried to flash the rom, everything seemed fine in TWRP. But, when I flashed the patch right after, TWRP threw a status 7 error. I pulled the battery and wiped art, cache, system, and data. Then, I flashed the rom again to see if it would boot without the patch. My phone bootlooped (as I expected). I pulled the battery again and flashed the patch. This time the patch installed without TWRP error, but my phone just bootlooped on reboot. Just in case, I wiped art and cache, but my phone still just boots to the Samsung label, then reboots - rinse and repeat.
I'm going to let my phone cool down and go back to plain stock.

@bud7dha @kotobodj
Thanks for your kind word. I will be checking the patch again by myself.
Did you flashed callmesuper TWRP before by any chance because he used old 5.0 bootloader if not then I will checking it out.
If you get error in TWRP just reboot recovery and try to flash again.
I will upload Bootloaders and Modems if anyone needs it.

I used @kykint's TWRP, but some users are reporting that it won't flash a rom.

I checked the Patch by myself and saw status 7 error.
What I can advise is the following as you said you flashed Kykint TWRP only so no problems in bootloader.
Now, same procedure but after flashing rom,, Reboot recovery and then flash patch.. Also wipe Cache, Dalvic..
Unfortunately I have G906L and cant test if K/S will boot but it should.
Note: The phone will reboot it self twice after flashing rom due to supersu just be patient.

I tried what you suggested, and the phone kept bootlooping. I'm back on stock with all its 320+ apps, which I managed to debloat to 180 or so. Wish I could have taken a log in TWRP but I had to yank the battery so I could reflash stock with odin. (TWRP may be at fault and not the patch, but I lack the skills to dig deeper.)
A bit off-topic, after I flashed stock through odin, supersu and busybox apps still appeared in my apps drawer - though not working - and the first menu upon boot popped up in Dutch. Anyway, thanks for your efforts; hopefully, others have better luck and/or more constructive feedback.

Problem noted and Patch fixed and being uploaded.
About off-topic, you need to reboot to recovery if using stock recovery and perform factory reset but beware all internal storage will be wiped.
Note: You dont need to remove battery always just use power button + volume down
Patch UPDATED and Fixed
Patch has been updated and fixed for G906K/S Variant.
Kindly feedback if any further issues.
