this is a pointless thread started by you. did you even do any kind of research??? i opened the link that you posted, read the thread, downloaded and installed the camera from the op of the thread, and it not only installed but works as well. did you even try to see if the camera works? if you did, you would never of even started this thread. the download link is right here, taken from the op of that thread http://www73.zippyshare.com/v/20280250/file.html

no battery issues here, no fc's. ive been using it for some time now. and it wont ever work 100%, our hardware is different, and its designed for an earlier version of android(not kitkat).

no, the gallery app doesnt work at all. its not designed for kitkat, or jellybean even. but the camera features mostly all work(no voice shooting).

Does the camera in this rom have touch to focus functionality? I'm about to flash to this one, but I do like the camera in the desire rom..

Nevermind, I've already flashed it.
Found 2 bugs: the camera and screen autodim
Basically this is the default nexus camera, and on the desire hardware (at least on mine) it cannot autofocus. Takes blurry shots, and the lens seems to dislike the rom..
The screen auto-dimmer seems to be stuck on really low..
Besides this everything seems to work fine. The lockscreen is perfect. Not keeping the rom though, the camera is a nogo for me.
Just hope somebody can bake this lockscreen into the desire rom

Nice, the stock 2.1 messaging and contacts are much faster and nicer than the sense apps. Forgot how much faster.

Its the Cyanogen rom with helixlauncher. I modded the framework and services.jar.
Lots of mods in the nexus section that can be used now

No, you have to do some work:
The morphs cant be used due to semi-root that we have today. (no write permission)
And the mods may need to be converted to be able to install on this rom.

Thanks to Jhernand1102 for posting the apk to MobiTV. It's posted over in the captivate section so I figured I would download it and give it a shot. Upon boot it froze at the startup screen (using Evil's Rom). Someone running CM6 got a could not authenticate error message. This would be a great little app to have so hopefully one of the XDA wizards will be able to get this working for the N1.

The link you posted is not active. With that being said I also would love to see this app working on the nexus one. Like you said we have a lot of smart people here at XDA that would have no problem figuring this out. Ill pay to get this app working on my phone.

no need to crack this works 28 trial on vanilla rom only works on evil's rom on demand channels. Live channels and demand work on vanilla.
Hmmm I Downloaded the link you posted installed and it just shows the MobiTV logo. Not sure what that means. But I'm scared to use it since I'm actually on AT&T and dem bastard might actually charge me.

Yes on evil's latest rom but you have to physically interact with the center of screen to get it started once you click the channel. Meaning leave your finger on the center of touch screen until the channel comes on.
I'm getting the same problem. A big "m" and it just sits there. I'm on T-Mobile using cyan's latest rom

Here are the miui apps that I've pulled for use with the Galaxy Tab, all .apk's have been tested by me and confirmed to work.
Depending on if people want them or not I will continue to port miui applications over to our tablets, these were done simply because I love the miui music app and the stock camera app on here is just.. well.. ugly lol.

Thanks yea the stock camera app is OK, but could be better.
EDIT: The lockscreen question was a bit far fetched, I do know that the lockscreen depends on the MIUI backends... so that won't be happening soon. Maybe a complete MIUI port XD

I have installed the camera, so far so good, but I could not change any setting as the menu is in chinesse only. Is there any chance to get it in English?

I fixed the Music link, also if the menus are in Chinese you should be able to fix it with a reboot if not post back here and let me know. Everything shows up English on my tablet but I'm on the Verizon Tab there may be some differences.

About to give this a try to help confirm that it is indeed working for the g2x.
Side note: I am currently running Nexus AOSP and tried flashing the zip to that rom but it only produced force closes
I will respond back shortly with the results or flashing this to the CM7 31 build.

Just shot a video longer than a minute and it runs smoothly... I'll upload it to youtube in a min.

So apparently the video I shot earlier was only 720p.
I reapplied the mod with the latest cm nightly and re-shot another vid @1088p. It gets 15fps from start to finish (it's about 40 secs long). It doesn't get choppy, it just has a slow frame rate. I used the "high" mod, btw.

You haven't done anything to prevent the update replacing the camera app? Or maybe some system app titanium backup thing?

No, it's usually the last thing I do after a full wipe. I haven't fully wiped in about a week though... just running on nightly's lately. I'll flash the cam mod again and see what happens.
No problem downloading or installing on CM7n34, Trinity EXT4 Kernel. Thank you for this everything works great.

yes swipe works fine :good: , camera works also but pictures has baaad quality :/ I tried some settings , but still ugly , and when I see them on my computer with big screen omg....I also tried photosphere , but It gives random images when I try to see the final result , please peolple report maybe I'm the only one or maybe I have bad settings I dunno
I'll test camera now i never really looked at the quality I'll post back my results

some people mentioned that you mite need to set your phone language to English USA but im running on English UK and it works okay for me im sory that people are having issues lol im not much of a dev i just made a flashable zip for you guys.
but try to change your language to english usa see if that works
Good work ,, it did not work because I am using ICS it get me into a bootloop . But I can feel your hard work with the text it was really amazing . :thumbup::thumbup:
I installed this package on my ICS ported. Photosphere & keyboard are working very well
Thanks everyone for your replies and i'm working on making an after-install pack for Cm10 fresh installs. as i keep wiping everything before installing the latest nightly so i got a zip with some apps in it that i like to re-flash after installing cm10 ill make it clean and tidy and share it with you guys.
the latest camera and keyboard will also be in there.
