Easy
Open the xml file in notepad not wordpad.
Just remove 1 or 2 at most of the whole lines with getvar. Create a bu first & have them both open.....

Well you can try to use the SRK toolkit if u want
I need help too, I have a 64 gig US version. Just rooted it today and got TWRP, made a back up. Flashed 2 roms, and none would go past the boot screen so I tried to do my back up and it error'd out at the last minute. I would like to just revert everything back to stock and lock the bootloader. IS this possible? if I do the EMUI update it fails, prob cause the boot loader is locked.

i just need to know how the step by step why to get the stock recovery and system on the phone?
Hi, and sorry for posting about another issue, but this will probably be the last time.
I recently unlocked the bootloader of my Moto E6, and then followed this ([unofficialtwrp. com/twrp-3-3-1-root-moto-e6/) tutorial on flashing TWRP to it. I got stuck on the booting the image part. It says that it would boot into TWRP, but instead I got a black screen with text that says "bad key" at the top left. I think that the reason could be no-verity-opt-encrypt, but I could be wrong. I think that the problem is that I need to boot into TWRP to flash it, but I'm not sure I can without using TWRP. Am I even right? How could I get TWRP to work?
Many thanks,
Collin

Bad key or N/A screen is a Motorola warning that the firmware may not be stock.

The warning has nothing to do with TWRP
It's just a standard Motorola screen you see after unlocking the bootloader.

So I found a no-verity boot IMG for a G6, would that work on an E6 or would that brick it? Even if it does, the recovery would still be the same so it wouldn't be hard to just use adb and flash the stock E6 boot img.

I got a few steps farther! I'm not sure how or why, but I flashed the stock recovery back and then flashed TWRP again, and now it will say "N/A" instead of "Bad Key" and then hangs on the splash screen. There are multiple unofficial ports for the E6, so I'll try the other ones and see if that works.
EDIT: Looked through the threads, the only TWRP images that exist get stuck on the splash screen. Thank you for your help!
