I need help in returning my device to work. Can anybody help me? It's An LG Optimus LTE (LU6200) Korean version.
Problem:
Touchscreen doesn't work, So the solution that I made was to buy a new digitizer/touchscreen for my device but no response. My phone's touchscreen still doesn't work. (Note: The digitizer/touchscreen i bought worked in other same device but not mine).
Then I tried flashing stock rom (note: KDZ file) still doesn't work. I even tried flashing an ICS file Engineer Version But same problem...
Can anybody help me. :crying::crying:

Try flashing Stock rom with new touch screen installed... else check for the ic

I will tell you my story from the beginning.
I have bought my Optimus 3d as soon as it was release then within a month I had a problem. The device kept telling me to insert a sim card i tried with many different cards but that did not help so I had to return it to the carphone wherehouse and they told me I need a replacement so I took the new and tried it. It worked my sim card with no problem after that I put it back in its box and put it in the shelf for about 6 months. Yesterday I wanted to use it because I want to try GB and the 3d converting tool. and when I tried to update it keeps telling me I am up to date although I am using froyo 2.2.2 with KV 2.6.35.7 and SV v10d and when I used Lg update tool but it keeps telling me I am up to date but when I check for my phone latest update it says v21a
Can anyone help me please.

I'm trying to update my p920 via KDZ. In the past everything was Ok, but now I have this problem....(see attached picture)
Maybe someone have a solution for it? Also when starting B2C normaly (host removed, mini server OFF) its working,

check your hosts file and make sure everything is ok there. seems like the software is connecting to lg servers instead of your local server.

My customer tried his motorola xt925 for flashing custom rom and he stuck on warning boot logo and i flashed that mobile with DroidHD Utility 2.0 Deluxe.zip. Now phone model changed to xt926 4.1.2 and imei corrupted (shows "0" only). please help me to solve this problem to get back imei.

yes i do...but motorola far away from my knowledge and that software works fine ....imei corrupted bcoz that customer tried some software on his own...bcoz i did on another phone everthing is fine(including imei) and thanks for your helping with link. let me try that.....but it is for samsung and same for motorola too ?

Can we install D838/D837 ROM to F350? it will work or not
if any body had tried it, please share experience here.
I want to install D838 ROM to my F350 but i dont know if it is possible and working or not. custom Majority customs ROMS can be installed on D838 and F350 which means D838ROM may be fully compatible with F350. Any idea?
So far i am suspected about Baseband, is d838 baseband is compatible with F350, if not then is it possible to flash D838 ROM and then flash F350 Baseband.
As for installation process, i think LG flash tool will work if we change device model from F350 to D838 in buildprop file.

i need to do same thing , because i need WCDMA 850 1900 bands enabled on my phone however my D83810B does not support those bands but F350S does , please let me know if anyone find a way to flash F350S modem in D838 KDZ

my F350s is dead after 2 week use. i am disappointed with LG. now it is turning on while on charging, mobile turn off as soon as charger removed. change battery do nothing.

did you try flashing it by going into download mode ?
please read what i write.
that ts power problem, not software related. everything is working only if charger si connected. it shutdown when charger removed.
and yes i flashed it, but i was aware it is not software related issue. repair center said its power ic is damaged and can't be repaired.

I'm in desperate need of help. After attempting to root my g4 somehow something went wrong and the phone is completely dead with no sign of life . I know there isn't a way yet to unbrick the g4 but I'm hoping somebody out there is working on it and maybe can help me out.. I'm willing to donate for the help Thank you !
What exactly are your symptoms? Does it not even turn on? Have you tried getting into download mode? How exactly did you try to root it? What were your steps and are you able to identify where you went wrong exactly?

I was trying to gain root access following this method : http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/root-tmo-vzw-intl-variants-soon-root-lg-t3164765. everything seemed to go well but after it was complete the phone wouldn't start and it booted only to a message on the LG LOGO with something failed. At that point I was still able to get to download mood so I tried to restore it to stock doing this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-lg-g4-stock-firmware-to-stock-kdz-t3107848. again the process went like it should but at the end the phone went dead with no signs of life, No led light, No vibration, can't turn on to anything and only gets detected on the computer as " qhsusb bulk ". My guess is I used the wrong KDZ files

It indeed sounds like you have a hard brick, in which case the device can't be brought back to life.
However for chance, and for future reference. Which kdz did you try to flash? Assuming your device is the ATT model, then did you download the Puerto Rico kdz?
Because there is not a KDZ or TOT for the ATT H810 model the Puerto Rico KDZ from Claro will recover an ATT soft brick. These are labeled H810PR.

Maybe you downloaded the wrong img file from the first post? It has to not only match your phone, but ALSO match the version of the firmware you're currently running. That's why this method here is better:

Because you just make a backup img of your system partition and then inject root into that and you have a new rooted system partition img file along with your original system partition image file so you can go back to stock if you want some time later. I'm guessing you tried flashing the wrong version of your firmware. Do you know what version you were on? Looks like the only one listed on that thread is version g. I'm on version b, so if I were to have tried that, I would also have had an error when trying to boot. Had you made a backup of your original system partition as mentioned here you should have simply been able to dd it back and you'd be up and running. However now it looks like you've "hard bricked" your phone indeed. Out of curiosity, which KDZ file did you use? What's the file name that downloaded?
It looks like there are some utilities created that can UNBRICK some phones when they get into this state, but it looks like they have had custom scripts written for the partitions of those phones, for example:

Maybe someone familiar with how those apps run could modify that app for unbricking the G4s? Currently however, there doesn't seem to be anything you can currently do to immediately fix your phone. So ... can you get it exchanged or replaced????

Honestly, bring the phone to ATT and tell them it said an update was available, and upon accepting it...the phone ended up in this state. They will most likely exchange it for you.

not an option because I bought it from somebody on craigslist... I already bought another one so I'll just wait and see if somebody comes up with a solution if not I'll sell it for parts.

Any chance they can give you the original receipt and that way you could possibly send it in for warranty work.

first thing is that you need a backup.img of mmcblk partition from running h81020n firmware (Because DOwngrade baeband not support)
