[Q] Need RUU for hboot 2.15 cid:HTC__E11 s-on - HTC One S

hi all,
I am looking for the RUU matching my HTC ONE S.
hboot 2.15
cid:HTC__E11
S-ON
Can anyone tell me where I can find the RUU?
regards,

Have a look in the Dev section...
There a stickybpost at the very beginning of it, saying "Shipped ROM Collection".
You should find what you need in this!
Cheers.

ENG S-OFF and Ship S-OFF?

Hi,
I want to flash a new radio to my Sensation as I currently have a really bad battery life and thought it could maybe be the result of an non-matched radio. (Updated to Android Revolution HD 3.0.0 yesterday)
My bootloader tells me I'm Ship S-OFF, but I've read that I'd need ENG S-OFF to flash a new radio, but could not find any guide telling me how to "do that".
Do I need ENG S-OFF? If so, how can I get it?
Thanks for your help.
Find Bin4ry's thread in dev section (it's a little hard to find, old thread but still) and inside that thread you can download PG58IMG.zip file. Then just flash that file and that's it
Edit: Here is the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1122053

Btw, I'm not sure if you need ENG S-OFF to flash a radio

Thanks for the reply. Does anyone else know if I really need ENG S-OFF to flash a new Radio? I don't want to do it if I don't need it..

I've already installed one PG58IMG.zip file a few weeks ago, which was a bit "bigger". Am I supposed to just install the "new" one "over" the old one? Or will there be problems?

You do not need ENG S-OFF to flash a new radio.

What is ENG S-Off used for anyway? Installing a new ROM overwrites the radio though?

Installing a new ROM does not override the radio, installing a new radio does. If you don't know what ENG hboot does, don't flash it. You don't need it, and if you don't know what youre doing you can brick your phone.

I do know what I'm doing (I think xD). I just mixed up all the information I got, so I wanted things to be cleared up a bit.
What I just want to know is, what is the difference between Ship S-Off and Eng S-Off? What is responsible for giving acces to Nand making me able to install a custom ROM? Ship S-Off, right?
I'm really confused right now xD

Ship S-OFF is enough to flash a recovery so you can flash a ROM. If your ROM needs a different radio the chef will let you know and will likely provide instructions to upgrade. ENG s-off opens up more commands that can potentially break a phone if you do the wrong things.

First of all, wrong forum. Second, why would you want that? I guess you can get S-ON again and then run revolutionary again

Iv pushed over the modified mmcblk0p23 file, then locked my boot and ran that build of the ruu but it comes across with error 155. I'm guessing I need to try the first method?

Did you relock your bootloader first?
Yes

All I can say is make sure you do "exactly" what the instructions say. I downgraded my hboot and I got stuck for that reason. And if you have to post in that thread I did and got fast help but make sure you tell them exactly what's happening
is there no easy to follow guide for this? as im well confused and well newbied
What method is this?
Tmobile HTC Oneā„¢ S

Can't find ruu.

Hello
I am trying to find ruu for htc one s(s4).
My cid is htc__k18 , cellcom israel.
I tried to run the jb ota and failed.can some one help me find that ruu?
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
You can do a search here or here or on Google.
If you don't find one, there isn't one. You should then consider changing cid or better s-off your device, as you will be able to run any RUU...

OpenDPS-v29.1.0.45.0622

If i run an RUU update to upgrade the Hboot and radio will i loose the Soff
No you won't lose s-off with RUU installation. BTW you don't need to run RUU to update hboot and radio, you can just flash firmware

You are s-off, you can install any firmware. Use this thread. If your cid isn't listed in android-info.txt in firmware.zip just add it and install firmware.zip
