[Q] Urgent Help Needed - Sony Xperia C

Today I have faced a big problem on Xperia C. When my phone showed 16% charge remaining, then i switched off the phone & plugged it in charging. After 2 hour when i tried to switch on, it didn't open. Still when i plug in charging the phone, it indicates charging light. But phone can'r run or open. Nothing is happening when i press power switch, even not vibration. Plz help me what can i do for solving this?

Have you tried the reset button... Remove the back panel and you should see a small reset point... Use a blunt object, press for about 3 seconds and it should get the phone fixed...

[Q] Ultra Sensitive Power Button

i changed the title since that is not the issue any more. i re-melted the solder on the power button and it stoped the loops but now it just made it super ultra sensitive like its a touch screen button. any ideas?
so my phone just randomly shut off one night and it automatically turns on when i have my battery in and it just stays on the samsung logo for about 2-5 second and sometimes the touch key lights turn on but just turns back off and does the same. when i try to boot into download mode it doesnt go into it, it just show the image of the batter loading with the loading circle for about 5 second then shuts off. The phone its rooted but running stock. any help with be greatly appreciated!
If I searched for something like this I'd probably find info on the power button being stuck.

Already tried that solution, im slowly starting to think it is a hardware issues. there is no water damage at all.
Hey.
So I have the EXACT same problem...
Phone was on CM10 Jellybean (no OC). Randomly shut off and started to bootloop. Phone will start bootloop when battery is plugged in.
1) Put in battery while holding vol+/-
2) Put in battery while holding power vol+/-
3) Put in battery while holding vol+/- and USB plugged in (I believe this is the correct method of getting download mode)
4) Put in battery while holding vol+/- and USB Jig plugged in
5) Put in battery while USB jig plugged in.
I am all out of ideas. When there is a USB jig, the phone DOES get into download mode, only to immedialtly bootloop back into download mode.
Did you Odin or Heimdall back to stock (since you are in download) and see if it still loops?

If I'm understanding you correctly, the phone vibrates 7 times when you plug it into the phone. So what happens when you reboot holding power and volume down? What happens when you just reboot the phone? Please be more specific and give more details.
i try with power on + volume down. nothing happen only vibrate again for 7 times

mine does the same thing. it never goes to bootolader. always stays stuck on htc screen. vibrates like heck for a couple minutes. after awhile, the phone goes to the rom i flashed...i get temp access to it, then it keeps restarting. i took the sim card out and sometimes the phone is operable, then others it is not. i totally think i bricked my phone.
when i am able to get into the restart part(holding power down and restarting with bootloader or recovery) and all it does is restart over and over.
had the same problem.
hey there....
yesterday i had the same issue i was on FB (hehe) when the phone just froze.
i tried to reboot it and then got the 7 wonderful vibrations,
now i tried to reset it buy many ways and nothing seems to work. still black screen 7 vibrations and nothing more.
im really lost don't know what to do next i haven't change the phone rom or updated it and didn't install an app lately that could have caused this mess.
what are my options? yes of course i can go to a lab and try to fix it but im trying to keep it to the last resort.
thanks !

Htc One S dead

Hello guys,
I'm experiencing something bad with my HOS. Briefly, yesterday morning I plug the phone from charger at 06.00 am. Play with it for a while and then go to work. Used it at work for a few phone calls until 10.00 am (so 4 hours on fully charge battery). Then at 10.00 am I went into a meeting and left the phone out of my sight for 20-30 minutes. When I came back from the meeting I realize that the phone was closed. I try to open it (power button) but nothing. Press power for 10-30 seconds with volume down - still no effect.
Then I took the charger (the original one that I always use to cherge it) and plug it, left it for 2-3 minutes and press power. The phone starts but all I have is the white screen with HTC logo and if I press the power button + volume down the phone goes into bootloader. That's all I can do with it for now.
I have stock rom, bootloader is locked and I never try to root the phone. Is it any chance to repair it by myself or I have to sent it to the repair shop.
many thanks in advance.

try holding the power button for 10-15 seconds, until all 3 buttons light up and the phone restarts itself. Let go of power button when after 3 buttons light up 3 times and see if that helps?
I've already do that. When I press power nothing happen. I'll have to plug into charger, let it for 2-3 minutes and then press power. The phone starts, white screen with HTC logo appears and then phone restarts and same white screen and .... again and again. If I hold volume down key then the phone enters into bootloader,I can use the options clear storage or factory reset, and restart the phone then same thing happens (white screen with logo and restart by itself). All these only when pluged. If unpluged nothing happen when I press power button.

Might sound silly but have you charged it for more then a few minutes because last time my phone died I had to charge it for about half hour before it would boot right.
I'll try this, but is strange if the phone run out of battery since it was used for about 4 hours since fully charged. Will be back with a feedback. Thanks for the tip.

Ya that's why I said it might be silly but still give it a try. I have seen odd battery drain where it could drain it in a few hours.
I say it's strange because I was on stock rom with same installed apps for about 2 months. Anyway the phone is now charging and I see something different with the led for charging as it turns orange as it should be when charging. Yesterday, when I try to start the phone, plugged in, the led was blinkering somehow. I'll be back with feedback later, I'll let the phone charge until led turns green.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Good news, after keep it to cherge until the led turns green, the phone boot up. I perform a factory reset immediatelly and an sd card clean up and now I'm installing my favourite apps. I'll be monitoring close my phone for the next days to see if sudden battery discharges happens.
Many thanks for your advice @darknites:good:

Np dude. Not sure where the drain is I used apps to look and it showed nothing and only seen it on sense roms and mostly only happened after flashing and setting it up but if you see it just roboot and it should fix it.
my phone is now dead the same way.
battery was fully drained, when turning on it doesn't go further than the bootanimation ( stays at htc one s logo).
Now i have fully charged the battery (green led) and it still doesn't boot up the right way.
Any help? I don't want to run the RUU.

Could try reflashing the rom if that dont work think you going to have too RUU it but use one that has the same Hboot as you got now.
What do you mean by not boot the right way? Can you pass the white screen with Htc logo? Did you try factory reset? Was your phone rooted?

I believe (but can not back it up) that you could have just re-flashed the boot image only. Still 10x probably.. altho that may have been the charging time, not the flashing.. who knows.

[Q] Hard Bricked Xperia Tipo

I was installing a WALKMAN Mod while my phone is Low Battery (About 14%), while the mod installing a wipe my sweat using my phone in the edges(LOL ), after a minutes my phone turned off but i did i not see it turning off, after i turned it on it was nothing, the power button part was actually hot, after i inserted a new sim and waited for an hour, my phone vibrated but nothing showed up i removed the battery and boot it again but there was no vibration. After a couple of hours i asked Brother (Previous Owner and Experienced the Problem)if he still knows how to fix it, he said just throw your phone down but not pretty far, i did what he said and i turned on my phone and a red LED light showed up 3 times (indicates its low battery), and the connected to the loptop to restore to stock but the loptop can't recognize the phone and the phone still isn't showing up. :crying:
