Sim Card Error...Dropped Phone

Hi guys,
Been on CDs for a while as a guest running ARHD Rom on my sensation.
Got a bit of a problem, when I got in from work today, my sensation fell from my sofa on the laminate flooring. The phone seemed to work until rebooted it. The sensation is displaying "insert sim card to phone".
I have rebooted it a few times, factory reset, sim card in and out and even a small bit of paper on top the sim to ensure contact and its still not working.
I am starting to think its hardware related which means sending it bk to HTC.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
P.s. I gave taken the ad whilst trying the above. I have not reflashed the Rom yet as I would not think its software related.

The sim card was round the wrong way in!

After 5.1 update no data on SIM2 ?

Hi
What a nice surprise when the OTA 5.1 update showed up on my good old moto g
I noticed that now, it's possible to enable data on SIM1 and on SIM2 at the same time. Previously you had to chose between one or the other.
Of course I have data plan on both sim's.
Now comes the problem : no matter in which combination I set the data settings, i'm only able to get data on the SIM inserted in slot 1.
Slot 2 is NOT working anymore for data.
Before, I just had to enable data on one or on the other and it was perfectly working.
Is someone experiencing the same issue ?

no such issue here , data works on both sims

If the problem still persists try to factory reset. BE AWARE all the internal data will be lost if you factory reset.

Same problem
I to have the same problem, at first it worked for both the sims after update and 2 days later it stopped working. I am now uable to use data from simslot 2. There another issue to, I am unable to switch 3gto2g option for both the sims, even when the data is off. Please help me with it which I got after 5.1 update. Thank you.

If it's a hardware issue I'd advice contacting Motorola. They've been very professional while assisting me with the SD card compatibility issue.

[Completed] Emergency Calls only and No Service in i9082 (Grand Duos)

I have tried few custom ROM this month and all works fine. So on 15th Nov i was trying another ROM and it got hanged at Samsung logo so i flashed the stock ROM again. This time my both sim are unable to register on network both are showing Emergency Call only or No Service, I thought their might some problem occurred while installing so i re-flashed with original firmware, but my problem is still not solved.
Next day when i was on the way to office my both sim gets registered and was getting call and msg.... Whole day i was getting avg strength of signal but sometime Emergency Call only too.
I came home again my phone is showing Emergency Call only or No Service. (I Dont have network issue at home, i put my sim in another phone and checked) then i downloaded firmware 4.1.2 from sammobile and updated my device with 4.2.2 via WiFi.
still i am suffering with the same problem, i am unable to identify the problem.
Is their any god man who can help me in solving this problem.

Signal problems and some questions about SIM card placement and options

Hi here folks.
I'm having a problem with my 2 weeks old Motorola one vision, and seems to be pretty random is hard to get my mobile carrier (Avantel, Colombia) to resolve the issue. My SIM Card seems to work pretty well on my wife's phone, which is a Motorola G5, but with my one vision i have tons of signals problems, for example, calls not reaching me or not being placed, long wait time before it's placed a call (when it does it) or messages through phone data, even wifi, take long time to be sent (whatsapp, texts, etc). Has anyone encountered this problem?
Now that i'm in here and in order to not make another post, how i am supposed to use 2 SIM Cards and one SD card with this tray supplied by the phone? The software in the phone tells me it's a dual SIM version, but cards just won't fit. Attached is a picture of my SIM card and SD Card tray.
One more question, what is thes "Temporary data switch option" under Mobile network settings?

The SD card should be placed in left slot and SIM card on the right (smaller) one, it's a hybrid dual SIM: one SIM card and one SD card or two SIM cards without SD card

Question eSIM not working (Vodafone UK)

Whenever I try to activate an eSIM in my 7 Pro (using a fresh eSIM generated from Vodafone UK) I get an error of:
Subject code: 8.1.1
Reason code: 3.8
... utter crap - can't this phone even get the basics right?

Mine worked fine yesterday on Vodafone UK with my Pixel 7 Pro. Scanned the QR code from the pdf emailed to me and it activated immediately.

I've re-created the QRCode about 10 times now. Each time it fails to activate on the Pixel 7 Pro, but works perfectly on an Oppo Find X5 Pro

Have you tried to manually add it?
I imagine Vodafone will claim it's unsupported and be no help.

I want this phone, but I use 2 sims (1psim, 1esim) and my esim doesn't work. It's a dealbreaker for me

I have ee physical sim and vodafone E sim. Working perfectly. If you're having issues I'd imagine vodafone would be the best place to start

I think your previous eaim isn't clearly dwactivated from old device.

I have currently completely deleted esim from the old device. Tried again, still nothing. Do I have to wait some time? thx
