Hi here folks.
I'm having a problem with my 2 weeks old Motorola one vision, and seems to be pretty random is hard to get my mobile carrier (Avantel, Colombia) to resolve the issue. My SIM Card seems to work pretty well on my wife's phone, which is a Motorola G5, but with my one vision i have tons of signals problems, for example, calls not reaching me or not being placed, long wait time before it's placed a call (when it does it) or messages through phone data, even wifi, take long time to be sent (whatsapp, texts, etc). Has anyone encountered this problem?
Now that i'm in here and in order to not make another post, how i am supposed to use 2 SIM Cards and one SD card with this tray supplied by the phone? The software in the phone tells me it's a dual SIM version, but cards just won't fit. Attached is a picture of my SIM card and SD Card tray.
One more question, what is thes "Temporary data switch option" under Mobile network settings?

The SD card should be placed in left slot and SIM card on the right (smaller) one, it's a hybrid dual SIM: one SIM card and one SD card or two SIM cards without SD card

Today, checked to see if the problem could be replicated in a Stock Transformer Prime. Absolutely no problems with it via the micro SD slot. WTF!? Put it back in the Infinity and all of a sudden no problems. The 64gb was to be used in conjunction with the SD card adapter but no more since it works now.
Exactly why it works now I have no clue.
1. Stock Infinity non-rooted
2. Did not format the micro SD out of the box
Video:
Out of interest have you crossed over the 4gb of data threshold on the card yet? Mine worked fine until it hit that and then crashed.
Not sure if thats connected though

With a single file, I have not. None of my video files are over 2gb but I have moved multiple files that equal above 4gb.
I'm getting no sim card - emergency calls only error on newest KitKat build. I've got latest GB software 176.44.1.falcon_umts.Retail.en.GB updated over rooted rom with CWM 6.0.4.7. Anybody else having this problems?

Have you tried reseating your SIM card? ive gotten that when using a sim adapter that didnt fit well and was not pressing the sim against the contacts properly.
I've got new sim card before this update because at first I thought my sim card was faulty, I don't use any adapter. Here is the screenshot but it doesn't show any worthy info.

If your MOTO G is of IMEI number starting with 3533 then flipkart will replace it or Those with other IMEI numbers (notably 3550*) have connection dropping problems which are solved by airplane mode on-off and reinsertion of SIM etc.

Just two icons appear, with information:
1) Hardware error SD card. Perform backup data and replace the card .
2) Damaged SD card. Media SD card is damaged. Click to fix it.
Any of above option doesn't work and i get error:

I seriously doubt this. More than likely just bad luck. But it's your call
I talked with Huawei support, they were also surprised. Bad luck or really a technical problem.
[Pro-Tip] [How-To] Quick switch from SIM Data "A" to SIM Data "B" and viceversa
Since i switch a lot of data plan due to poor signal on my area and change from SIM 1 to SIM 2 involves too many clicks i thought on a solution to change data network quickly.
1.-Install and set as default home Nova Launcher.
2.-Long press on home screen and add a widget.
3.-In the Nova Launcher carrousel select "Activities".

4.-Go to "Telephony Services" and select ".DefaultNetworkSettingsDialogActivity"
5.-Thats all, also you can change the icon for one that you like.
Nice post and thanks for sharing, for whom prefer asus stock launcher, this can still be applied using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sika524.android.quickshortcut , the widget setup is pretty much alike only this time look for quickshortcutmaker widget
Hello,
I'm on android 12 and I'd like to change SIM card used for data in the same way.
I have a nokia 8.3 5G, I found 2 settings:
1st makes signal range icons disappear and seems to reconnect both sim cards.
2nd takes me to sim cards preferences settings. Which is still handy but... I'd love to switch sim cards used for data using an icon. Is it possible?
With lineage 20 installed, everything in the menu system seems to indicate dual sim support, and the engineering menu shows a Phone 0/Phone 1 option. However, the tray in my phone appears to be a single sim/micro SD tray that I can't put a second physical sim into. There is a hybrid sim tray for this model for sale on eBay.
My question is that were separate single and dual sim models of this handset manufactuered so even adding a hybrid sim tray to mine won't support the second sim card? Or will adding such a tray support the card since the flashed ROM appears to support it?
The Motorola website says this:
networks / bands2G: GSM band 2/3/5/8
3G: WCDMA band 1/2/5/8
4G: LTE band 1/3/5/7/8/20/38/40/41SIM cardDual/Single nano-SIMWi-Fi802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4GHz + 5GHz
Seems like there are two different models:

But perhaps it's just a matter of SIM tray, maybe it does have the pins?
Probably not but worth a shot...
So the answer is no. I got the dual sim tray, the tray and dual sims fit in the phone physically, the engineering menu shows the ability to pick sim 1 or 2 but the sim is not recognized and the settings menu has no option for it.
