Root lost after flashing OmniRom - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Flashed OmniRom 4.4.2 and it works great! Only problem is I have no root access!? SuperSU is installed as a system app but none of my root apps will work and Binary updates fail whether it is the Normal install or TWRP/CWM option. If I choose the latter it just closes the window and does not reboot, and if I use manual RCK after choosing it there is nothing that it does. I don't see anything on how to get root back and I don't want to have to reflash everything all over again

I had the same problem with the 4.3 version of OmniRom. Posted on the dev's forum for the Rom and after about 2 weeks, I still haven't heard anything about a possible fix. Tried to go back to stock and start all over but bricked the whole thing. Thank God for having done Wheelie/NVFlash or this tablet would again be lost until I'm able to buy a new motherboard. As for now for you, until the dev answers either of us, your only option (to have root access and the apps that you use with it) would be to flash a diffferent ROM. Wish I had a better answer for you. I do have one question for you though. What was your opinion of the Google Now Launcher in 4.4 in regards to the 10" tablet screen? I had the 4.4 OmniRom installed on my TF300T very soon after the Rom arrived and frankly, the size of the icons and all was a bit too large for my tastes. Until/unless Google adds a few more functionality options like my favorite launcher Nova (like being able to change the grid size for the desktop), I'm staying away from 4.4 on my TF300T (didn't really see much difference speed-wise and ART actually slowed my tab down so much that I flashed back to 4.3).

Did you download the SuperSU ZIP from the website and flash it using recovery?

Really? I did put CM10.2 on my phone, really like it. So I checked your recommendations on the phone. Yeah, just what you said, root adb and applications. My phone is enabled and I never lost root on it. You get a Thanks.
Now how to update to 10.2 on the Tab. CWM only lets you flash one zip at a time where Safe Strap will allow you to stack the rom and gapps. I got CWM Pro and don't see anyway to flash more than one zip at a time and this gave a system 7 error. The update is there in about phone, if I allow unstable and nightlies, but installing it dumps me into recovery. Safe Strap on phone, piece of cake. One zip at a time in ClockworkMod, not so easy. Any ideas?
Awesome. I went into CWM Rom Manager and decided to use TWRP instead of CWM, used the update in Settings/About Phone/Update. It did work! But everything is crashing, I had to install new gapps. So I went back and flashed the new gapps. Problem is, playstore is broke, errors everytime it tries to install or update, would not connect at all until new gapps. Wiped data, still not working right. Others had this problem, any ideas on how to restore playstore functionality? Thanks, you guys rock!
Found the answer here, and it works!
I tried everything form everywhere. Nothing worked until I did this. Following the steps below.
RPC:AEC:0 error is known as CPU/RAM/Device/Identity failure.
Only possible way you can follow to get rid off this error is,
Go to settings ? application ? Play Store ? Clear Data & Clear Cache.
Go to accounts ? Google ? Remove account.
Reboot device.

Downgrade from Lollipop. Possible?

Hi there.
I have had Lollipop on my Nvidia Tablet for a few days now and had nothing but problems.
The internet is now a cluster**** of adverts as adblocker plus does not work correctly, and programs I used every day are now useless (sixaxis controller etc). I also miss the power control options and the chew on you have adjusting volume in apps and etc (priority bull crap pops up). I also have a 50% compatibility compared to Kit Kat. Is they a way to revert back to last os as I feel I have ruined my device.
I have my device bootloader unlocked, rooted and running CWM.
Kind regards
Alex
Adaway works fine for me. Most power options are still there, just in a different spot. And i don't chew on my tablet, so not sure what you are talking about there. It runs much better on 5.0 for me. Less RAM being utilized. Chrome is MUCH smoother than before. I felt like i was using my old touchpad til i got the upgrade.

I can only say that when I upgraded to Lollipop things were sluggish until I Factory reset and installed everyting from scratch. Now, I cant find one reason to go back... AdAway works great!
Best regards,
Carlos
My tablet still tastes like plastic, glass, and other materials. Did they promise chewing on it would get a new flavor?
Also not sure what you're talking about as far as app compatibility goes. Have only hit a couple very niche apps that don't port over. The advanced power options are hidden either in a power setting or battery setting widget, though.
You both just solved half my problems with adaway. Is they a way i can get the sixaxis app working again?

If my memory serves right, when you factory reset, you don't loose root.... but if you do loose it, it's not so hard to gain it back. that is well documented on another thread... http://forum.xda-developers.com/shield-tablet/development/root-root-lollipop-t2945044

What i don't want to do is unlock the bootloader, thought you were on locked bootloader and rooted before the perform the factory reset.
I was having serious lag issues. I successfully restored to the official nvidia 1.2.1 update (last KitKat build) then relocked my boot loader, factory reset. Booted and back to kit kat, perfect, then downloaded the update fresh without my extra apps, applied, factory reset then booted. So far a hell of a lot better, not perfect but much more bare able. Kit kat shouldn't be faster, should it? Lol. Need custom ROMs with nvidia apps and a cool custom kernal.
Go to shield.nvidia.com sign up to developer. Then download the 1.2.1 KitKat image, unzip and place in a folder with adb and fastboot files, make sure your boot loader is unlocked. Put your device in boot loader then use the official flash all batch file. Then relock boot loader and factory reset through recovery. And you'll be downgraded. If you need help let me know. Just in case my model is the 16gb WiFi only model.
Just for the record the cause of all my lags were due to Facebook. Must have a memory leak. Installed it and performance and lag became terrible like before. I uninstalled it, left the beta programming and rebooted and all is good. Now to use a Facebook alternative. Lol.

Its a weird one. I can use Facebook on my oneplus one on an unofficial lollipop ROM perfect but not my shield tablet. Couldn't believe that was the culprit of all the serious lag! It was really unusable to the point i was going to downgrade to KitKat again and sell it and just use my shield portable. Or I had a bad device. Turns out it was just a Facebook issue. So I apologise nvidia! Lol. Just goes to show smaller companies and even individuals can put out better optimized applications. They should do a talon plus inspired version.

Try This!
While on KitKat I was rooted and had Philz recovery. I installed the Lollipop update and lost root but fortunately I still had my recovery.
I did the following to get root on lollipop with writable sdcard and managed to make my device extremely fast/snappy (better than ever)...
0. Download SuperSU v.2.27 zip and copy to sdcard -link- http://download.chainfire.eu/630/Sup...erSU-v2.27.zip
1. Reboot to recovery (No need for unlocking bootloader or changing kernel)
2. Do a factory reset and wipe cache and dalvic/art cache
3. In advanced menu select re-root
4. Now install superSU v.2.27 zip
5. Reboot system and let lollipop boot up
6. Goto settings > Battery > from menu SHIELD Power Control > Change Processor Mode from Optimized to Max Performance
7. Goto settings > Security > Check Unknown sources
8. Download and Install Seeder by LCIS from Play Store, check all options and run on moderate -link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...s.seeder&hl=en
9. from Play Store download Remount by Stephen and remount sdcard1 as rw -link- https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....remount&hl=en
or follow these steps by SuperPichu (see the lockked bootlader section) -link- http://forum.xda-developers.com/shie...lipop-t2946250

You can get the recovery images from nVidia here: https://developer.nvidia.com/develop4shield Make sure you get the tablet rom, I almost flashed the portable one lol. Only thing that sucks is you have to register as a developer and it took about 2 days until I was "approved".
Here's a step by step guide if you get hung up.. http://youtu.be/GsMo1tPlIFU?list=LL2pdV4KBs4sNR6r1zpwr-cQ but really just have adb installed and run the batch file that comes with it.
After spending maybe a week on Lollipop tho, I seriously couldn't be happier on Kitkat. Xposed for the win! Lollipops biggest qwirk has to be the pull down, no idea why it's not split like Kitkat. That and weird slow downs.

After a lot of research i downloaded the OTA 1.2.1 update from here, and i used the batch file too and then i realized i could just restore my backup file without any problem hehe, so i have a backup from lollipop and one of kitkat.
http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Tablets/NVIDIA/NVIDIA-SHIELD-Tablet-LTE-US-Firmware-121.shtml
Lollipop is all the oppose to what android means to us, has a fresh look but doesnt worth it, i updated just because of the battery issues in kitkat, i guess lollipop is getting very qwirk because the devices are getting more powerful in gaming and multitasking so they are a more relevant market so cant have all freedom to modify and change the firmware..

I have the newer Model LGL16C/4.4.2/Baseband version M8610B-AAAANAZM-1.0.6060/Kernel version 3.4.0+/Build KOT49I.L16CV11a/Software version L16CV11a/"Lucky". Service provider is Tracfone, aka Crapfone. Attempts to root with Kingroot as well as Kingoroot failed, including several apps which claim to root your phone. I paid less than $10 US dollars for this phone and rooting it isn't high on my priority list, however rooting the damn thing has presented a bit of a challenge.
A working guide to rooting this phone would be great.

Hey so i spent forever trying ro find a root that would work on this. Or a custom ROM anything really. Try going into McAfee Security, setting up an account, go to settings and disable the lock down device option. That was the problem for me at least McAfee was blocking any root from installing. From there i rooted my lucky with kingroot one click root. Hope this helps!
The Easiest Way To Root Your LG Lucky Without a PC
Easy way to install SuperSU on your LG Lucky
Just follow directions
Use KingRoot 4.5.0 app - google KingRoot apk all versions. Download and install apk.
Google replace kingroot with supersu. There will be a few sites popup, Mediafire is where the original .zip file is hosted. You can even search "how to replace/remove kingroot with supersu" here on XDA for more info.
Once you have downloaded the .zip file be sure to extract it to your INTERNAL sd, the script in the zip will not work from your external sd.
Open the extracted file and copy the mrw file to the internal storage, the path should look like /storage/emulated/0/mrw.
Now go to the play store, download and install Terminal Emulator. I use the one by Jack Palevich as it is only 551kb and easy to use.
Open the terminal emulator and type "su" in order to grant super user permission to the emulator,
On the next line type "/system/bin/sh - /storage/emulated/0/mrw/root.sh" and press enter.
Now the script will run and open up SuperSU automatically. Install binary when prompted with the "normal" option. Choose yes when it asks if you want to delete other superuser apps. (this removes kingroot).
Before rebooting phone, go into the settings of SuperSU and enable pro mode, change icon if you wish, enable survival mode, enable su during boot. I think you have to restart app at this point, can't remember as I did this months ago. Then restart the SuperSU app, go back into settings to Install SuperSU into system. Reboot phone,
When phone reboots, this is when Kingroot is finally uninstalled. Your phone will still be rooted with SuperSU. At this point you may wish to update SuperSU as this is version 2.46 and the newest version is 2.71 Beta. You can get the newest version of SuperSU from the thread here on XDA.
(thanks MrWolf for the script to make the change and thank you Chainfire for SuperSU, FlashFire, CF.lumen, etc...)
LGL-16C successfully (so far) rooted using Kingoroot.exe (latest version). Had to change from mtp to camera on USB then was recognized. Was a Net10 $15 phone with nothing to lose, so...will try more stuff out another day and post again.

Hi. Could you tell me how you installed supersu after rooting with kingroot? Thanks
Well I have root and supersu installed but it won't update binary. Any help out there? Thanks
Hey everybody. I did it!! Just root with kingroot 4.5 and replace kinguser with super sume. Worked great. All kingroot stuff is gone!! Ive rebooted 3 times to make sure and all is good.
Well if anyone is interested in looking at the source code, lg support has downloads available for nearly every phone they've ever made.
http://opensource.lge.com/osList/list?m=Mc001&s=Sc002
The file for the LGL16C is on page 2. Every thing seems to be listed alphabetically so it's easy to locate.
I still have my lucky and actually use it often although I no longer have it activated.
@ cecnwv,
Thanks for the link. Using Ares 11 and got "IP banned for 6 hours, try again later" after dbl tppng yellow icon. I did something wrong. Not at my PC. (unfortunately)

Has anyone made a complete backup of their system apps using Titanium Backup? Being that one can't use fastboot/download mode (this phone has it locked out and a special USB cable is required) so my backup options were limited. I thought I did a full backup with Titanium Backup, but apparently lost it as I only found a small partial one on my PC.
Issue is I had uninstalled some bloatware and integrated updates for a few apps. But after factory resetting the phone it is behaving a bit odd. The notification bar doesn't really work anymore (apps still able to use sound/vibration to make a notification, but nothing appears in the notification bar) and I am unable to call the phone because it never rings and it immediately goes to voice mail. So the phone app is borked too.
Plus soft button to the right of the home button (I forget what it's called) doesn't bring up the app history anymore so I can't close background apps. (the volume buttons also don't really do anything anymore. Normally using them causes the volume bar for ringtone to appear and if using a media app, the volume bar for media audio comes up instead. But now nothing happens).
The phone is in a pretty broken state and even doing app updates from Play Store doesn't work anymore. Was gonna try and look around if someone has some app/data backup of the system apps installed. This is a TracFone branded phone and is currently running Android 4.4.2 (Kernel version 3.4.0+). Which is the last Android update they made for this phone.
Perhaps there's a single service/app that is responsible for notifications/volume bar that is borked. But I have no idea which system app is broken so a full app restore is my next best option.
The first thing wrong I noticed after resetting it was that the intial setup screen would return everytime I rebooted the phone. (only way i could get that to stop was freezing it in Titanium Backup). So maybe related to that app somehow. I don't recall ever uninstalling/merging update data for that perticular app though so it's probably a side effect of a different app going haywire.
EDIT:
Ok looks like I resolved the issue. I just removed the LGStartupWizard.apk then did a factory reset via Volume Down+Power button combo. It boots straight to home menu now and everything works. I guess the LG setup wizard thing got borked somehow. No more setup wizard but verious things like google account and whatnot can be configured manually via settings so no real loss.
All the missing things like the app history button, lock screen, notification bar, etc are now working as a result of resetting after removing LGSetupWizard.apk.

Awesome, this worked for me too, though the issue wasn't exactly the same. When I got the phone it had already been rooted with Kingo at some point and I noticed after resetting it that I had similar problems (it may have had the issues before the factory reset too, I just didn't notice one way or the other). Anyway, I was getting slightly different misbehavior. No recents key, yes, but also no response from the Home key. Pull-down notifications bar was mostly working, but with no visible notifications and I couldn't press the Setup "gear" in top right. My volume buttons and Play Store were fine, though, but I'd noticed that when I tried further factory resets (from the menu, not via hard reset) that it wasn't "really" resetting, as any downloaded files/etc. remained on the phone. I'd tried freezing LGSetupWizard already, but as you noted, that doesn't fix it for whatever reason. Deleting altogether does. Yay. I do wonder what the hell is happening during the root or reset that triggers this problem, though. It behaves as if Setup Wizard was just never completed, so you remain "locked out" of most of the same functions that are unavailable during setup normally. Oh well.
Anyway, as old ten-dollars-or-less type phones go, this isn't the worst I've ever used by a long shot. Heck, it's arguably better than a few other slightly bigger/newer/pricier crap-phones out there! (Looking at you, ZTE Legacy/Quest...) FWIW, I had "ripped" all of the APKs from /system/app and /priv-app for some reason back when I first got this thing, so if they'd be of use to anyone I'll be happy to upload all or individual files. Hell, if anyone can tell me how to do a full ROM dump I'd be happy to do that too, because there's definitely still no official stock image available online that I could find a trace of. (Granted, I don't know if there'd be any way to utilize a non-official backup image anyway or turn it into a flashable KDZ, but that's not my point...)
Thank you, I got my lucky rooted! I'm wondering if anyone ever found any custom ROMs or recoveries for this device. It seems like this was never popular for any of that, but thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Looking to Update Software to Most Recent Version

I have a rooted Verizon device that is running stock 4.1.2, since I have the unlimited data and use the free hotspot toggle.
Well, almost none of the current apps works with my phone anymore, its getting very frustrating. I'd like to unroot my phone and just get to the most recent software, then buy Foxfi for the hotspot...will that work?
Is there a better option? Can I upgrade the software without unrooting ?
Any help would be apprecaited, thanks!

If you want to take the OTA update you will need to unroot. I would highly advise against this as you will permanently lock your bootloader down but if that's what you choose then so be it

Ok, then what would you suggest I do?? Is there a ROM i can flash to update the software and still use the hotspot free?

I see foxfi hasn't been updated in the play store in nearly 3 years. Some roms have the Hotspot feature built in as far as what roms have it built in, as far as newer roms that much I don't know. I'm running the last build of CleanRom and its built in.
I understand a lot of apps currently require a newer version of Android to run. My suggestion would be to check out the development forums for the VZW S3 and see which roms have it built in rather than having to buy the app itself

I tried reading up, but this seems intimidating. Maybe you can point me in the right direction...my ONLY needs are a working camera (slow motion would be VERY nice to have if available), hotspot tether that I can use without paying the monthly fee (I have unlimited data), and software version that actually works with apps from the playstore.
As far as I know, I have 4.1.2 software, unlocked bootloader and I'm rooted.

Ok what android version are you looking to be on?

I dont' really care at all, just one that will work with apps from the play store. Most apps now need at least version 4.2.....I'd like to be on the newest version I can be that has a working camera and hotspot....i'm assuming if I go to a ROM i can still use apps from the play store?

Of course. I hardly ever run stock on any of my devices. I think my N6 is the only one but it's customized. CleanRom is on version 4.3 I'm not sure about AllianceRom which I also have uploaded to my AFH account

I'll also chime in. If OP is looking to update his phone, there are 2 paths. The stock path, which will be up to KitKat based roms (android 4.4) because that was the last update the S3 ever received. You could install something like superliterom (found in our android developement thread). But from your needs (hotspot, and camera) you can go all the way on to marshmallow (android 6) using CM13 which is what I'm running. The only bugs now are bluetooth (it may crash if you're playing music through bluetooth and receiving a call through bluetooth like in a car for example), gps is slow to lock (which is a problem is most of the CM roms), and some minor front camera bugs ie. instagram will crash, but every other camera and video camera/video calling app will work that I've tried. If I was in your shoes, I would try CM13 to see if you like it, and then bounce down from there to a 4.4 or 4.3 rom as a solid 2nd or third choice. I went from cleanrom, to alliance 4.3, to cm12.1 (I could never get gps to lock on this, but everything else worked), to cm13. They are all solid. Even something like slimkat 4.4 has pretty good reviews. But don't ever take the OTA update...there is no point in that now besides locking your phone forever and limiting the usability of your phone.
I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question, but if I install cm13 will I lose all my text messages, emails, app settings, etc.??

Yes. I wouldn't suggest updating to a newer rom without wiping the internal storage. You could always backup text messages. Emails automatically save to the Gmail app and the app settings well that can't be recovered but you could always set it the way it was previously

so as long as i back up my messages on verizon cloud (which i do) they will be restored once i put cloud on and sign back in??

Correct. You can use third party apps as well. I've been using one for years and it catches call logs also

Ok, so I've downloaded "Oct-M-R1-6.0.1 for d2vzw", the MD5 checksum, and "open_gapps-arm-6.0-stock-20160806".
I have just installed TWRP 3.0.2 on my device and it appears to be working.
Now what?
Put the files onto my microsd or onto my phone storage?
Install from TWRP and that's it?
I have titanium backup, should I run that first? OR is there a backup option from twrp??
VERY specific directions would be appreciated! Thanks LOL
PS - One last thing, what developer options need to be checked or unchecked if any in my phone settings.

In developer options you really only need to enable USB debugging.
As far as installing the rom putting it on your SD card should be efficient or once in TWRP you can mount the internal and move it into there if connected to a pc. As far as installing it's pretty straight forward.
Wipe internal completely but DO NOT wipe your SD card. Install the zip first then gapps and ensure you wipe cache and dalvik. Once done reboot and let the device sit for about 10 minutes without touching it to let the rom settle down, once done just reinstall everything. I do not recommend to install apps via titanium backup (i.e. Data for those apps) anymore questions feel free to ask

Ok, I started the process. Did my backup from twrp and then installed the zip from my sd and gapp at same time...phone has been in a boot loop for about an hour....every now and then it says "Android Starting - optimizing apps", then starting apps....should i just keep waiting or redo it???

The rom may of not played well with the device. I installed lollipop on my S3 and it was quite slow. I'd say restore the backup but you can try installing it again but I forewarn you that it may just not work at all

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I restored my version, worked fine...then tried again and got boot loop again...back to my 4.1.2 for now until I can figure it out. Second time I went into advanced and wiped the system, too...didn't help.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated....could I have a bad zip file?
I came across this link https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=d2vzw , which should I download? What's the difference between all of these versions? Nightly vs. Snapshot vs. Stable? Also, what is the "Release" and the "Recovery"

Noble rom nougat running on g920v !

Dont use noble nougat ! Use ultimate nougat under the unified development . There are 3 different versions either one is okay. Everything works on ultimate nougat but noble lags a good bit.
Each one has a description on what it does and has. All are bebloated + custom tweaks. Check them out. Any touchwiz rom should work. As long as ported to sg g920f.
You have to be on nougat stock firmware. At least thats all ive tried. You can try on 5.1 as long as you follow my guide. Go to this site - https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s6/general/root-nougat-s6-verizon-t3710864 and download the files he has on his post. Thats how you root on nougat.
If you are on nougat, switch to bootloader mode, open odin, and click on ap and select the eng root. Then reboot and go to settings/security and tick unknown sources. Then extract the unroot file you downloaded and run the file that says root.bat and give your phone a few minutes. It will restart and supersu will be installed. If it doesnt work the first time try again
Now you need to download flashfire. And download the custom touchwiz rom you want. Again you can find them under unified developement. And gapps if you want. I use aroma installer to pick what apps i want to be system apps.
Once you are rooted have supersu and flashire, youll need to set you year on the date back to 2013 or flashfire wont open correctly. It does that on my phone atleast you can try it out. When u have flashire open click on the + at the bottom right and click flash zip or ota. Click on the ron youve downloaded and then select the box next to mount system read and write . Then press the + button again and add a wipe action. Just leave it on what it automatically tics. Make sure you hold down on the wipe action before hitting the flash button at the bottom and put it above the rom installation. So youre phone restores first. Do not tick internal storage on the wipe action you will brick your phone bc no sd card.
Flashfire should take you through an aroma installer for the rom depending on the one youve downloaded. Make sure to pick g920f kernel.
Go through chek what you want and then install. As long as you hit the mount system read and write button on the wipe action back in flashfire it will install and not get stuck on %20 or %25. Once its done let it reboot your phone will come to a crash screen. A blue one with a warning sign saying software failure or something. You need to hold the power button volume down and homd button until it cuts off. The do the same thing to turn it on in download mode and flash the eng root file in ap again from odin and your phone will boot. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to boot.
I installed xposed and all kinds of other tweaks to this rom as well. Let me know how it works out for you . Im going to upload photos in the replies.
Able to flash and open twrp but no function.
Just Google a touchwiz rom ported to galaxy s6 and follow my instructions. I've tried 2 others. Everything seems to be working other than if you are not rooted there is intense lagging from time to time.
I have some questions, is this on 5.1.1 rooted with mrmikes root? Is the rom pre-rooted? Is it debloated? And does it have s health?
this needs a more in-depth description, when i tried it, i flashed it on 5.1.1, i got to the setup of the rom, i chose the international s6, i didnt know which one to choose, then the CSC variant, i chose one of them which had a description like "multi us, it started installing, it got to 25%, then the screen just went black, i opened rootatboot, it succesfully worked, but my phone screen is still black, what are we supposed to do?

Sorry i updated my op check it out ^^
And if you have black screen then boot to odin mode and flash nougat. I know for sure it works on there. And if you follow my steps i suggest using ultimate nougat note fe rom. Its bloatware free and smooth as butter. Has aod edge screen and alot more tweaks.

Not able to do it, When i flash stock nougat with odin, it gets stuck on the galaxy s6 logo after reboot. Then i factory reset and wiped cache partition, and its still stuck there. So i had no choice but to downgrade to 5.1 again. Now i flashed the pre rooted official nougat rom with flashfire, and once i was on nougat i was gonna flash the custom rom. But, when you try to flash something in flashfire on the pre rooted nougat rom it gives me an error saying an unknown error has occured. Now im back at rooted 5.1. Help anyone?

I'd reccommend video and flashfire, you can make a video of how to do it and make it easier by flashing it in flashfire, so a tutorial on how to flash it on flashfire correctly.
Followed the procedure but flashfire just remains blank on boot... why?

yes... followed everything to the letter. Was having issues with the flashfire but i downloaded the pro apk and it acquired root permission without crashing... I used flashfire .57 pro to flash the pre rooted rom but the flashfire in the pre rooted rom also crashed after aquiring root so I uninstalled it and downloaded the .73 pro apk and that worked but it doesn't flash the rom no matter what options I choose. Tried so many combinations... I put the wipe before the flash and i also tried vice versa, tried with flash procedure set to normal, recovery, download and all still came out with the same outcome = Blank flashfire with 2015-2017 screen. So i just restart the device and everything is normal. Using the pre rooted rom for now

Okay do everythig you did again but before opening flashfire you need to turn off wifi. Go to settings and date and time. Turn off automatic date and time and set year to 2013 then re open and use flashfire. That was my original problem.
I've tried everything to get mobile data and service to work that is the only bug but makes this thread a complete bust until I can find a work around or fix for it.
