Please anyone tell me are there any free ebooks for LEO available from borders
please rectify the post's title better, with a [REQ] at the beginning maybe
Anyway, google will help you a lot if you're looking for free ebooks (count of montecristo, three mosqueteers, and every "classic" is free).
The same google will help you finding freeware tools to convert among formats to make those ebooks compatible with the reader tab... there's nothing special "just for the hd2", really, the process is the same for every "open" device which is capable of ebook reading. Maybe closed devices like kindle need their own format, luckily not ours.

I'ìd like to help you, but I yet have to install the version 6 of ax*lor rom which has a reader tab. Anyway there's a thread in the themes&apps forum for hd2 regarding an apps that indexes your ebook for the tab, you may first off install that app, and see the file-extension needed to index ebooks. Look info for that file-extension on google and you know the format those ebooks must be in... probably plain txt is supported, I don't see why it shouldn't.
The books are in .epub format. There is one very good thread about it on here, and an re-indexing app.
here you have some
http://blogoio.com/stanza/list/Authors.xml
over 300,000 free titles, and they have the .epub format available for download
http://www.gutenberg.org
Ebooks are amazing. I think one of the most powerful weapons in the internet marketers' arsenal is the ebook. Your ebook format is in the right format to download.
I am looking for some way to open and read the contents of the thumbdata file.
I have searched and sifted through many links and all I can find is dynamically generated websites wanting me to download some registry fix-it utility and people having problems with their cache and viewing being slow, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi. I am new to XDA and Android development, and am trying to learn some basics. I am looking over the tutorial at (stupid forum won't let me post outside links yet...) but it is flawed in a few ways. As of now, it says "browse to kernel_source". In my Android's default file browser, even with hidden files shown, I cannot find that location. Do I need a more powerful browser that lets me look at system files, or am I just misnavigating?
The tutorial is about adding features to the kernel, such as CPU governors.
Also, do I have to write android code on the phone itself, or can I write on the computer (much easier to use a keyboard) and transfer when I'm done?
Thank you!
Hello there
Does anyone know if its possible to make bookmark
folders for Firefox android? Their support website alludes to this, though explanatory video shows PC Firefox- not android. No help.
Folders for bookmarks. Folders for Reading list.
Changing the order of bookmarks, and the reading list.
? This would make so much sense.
Also, is there a function of this xda forum to download an entire thread for offline reading, as in every page of the thread in one go? - And with the possibility of updating periodically?
Hi Everyone,
I'm happy to become a member of XPDA!
I've been learning to code for Android the last 6 months and feel like I'm ready to share something useful. It's an app called Recall that has mostly replaced a file explorer for me.
You can try the app here: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=im.recall.android
Here is how I describe it:
With Recall you'll find your files much faster than with your file explorer!
Recall is a search engine for your files. It indexes your files and let's you search not just by file name, but by content of your documents and images.
Recall understands text on the images, so it's very useful to search for:
- photos of some documents you took using a phone camera
- screenshots of your phone
- memes you saved for future use
- receipts
- and so much more...
Recall also has access to images downloaded by WhatsApp, Telegram and Viber, and so if you receive stuff there, it will be searchable too!
I'm happy to answer your questions! Please let me know if I should abandon the project or keep working on it
Thank you!
P.S. A short video demo of what I'm trying to solve is here: youtube.com/watch?v=_URELgkDDus
