thumbdata3-XXXXXX - Don't hate me! - General Questions and Answers

I am looking for some way to open and read the contents of the thumbdata file.
I have searched and sifted through many links and all I can find is dynamically generated websites wanting me to download some registry fix-it utility and people having problems with their cache and viewing being slow, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Request for Free EBOOKS for new ereader on LEO

Please anyone tell me are there any free ebooks for LEO available from borders
please rectify the post's title better, with a [REQ] at the beginning maybe
Anyway, google will help you a lot if you're looking for free ebooks (count of montecristo, three mosqueteers, and every "classic" is free).
The same google will help you finding freeware tools to convert among formats to make those ebooks compatible with the reader tab... there's nothing special "just for the hd2", really, the process is the same for every "open" device which is capable of ebook reading. Maybe closed devices like kindle need their own format, luckily not ours.

I'ìd like to help you, but I yet have to install the version 6 of ax*lor rom which has a reader tab. Anyway there's a thread in the themes&apps forum for hd2 regarding an apps that indexes your ebook for the tab, you may first off install that app, and see the file-extension needed to index ebooks. Look info for that file-extension on google and you know the format those ebooks must be in... probably plain txt is supported, I don't see why it shouldn't.
The books are in .epub format. There is one very good thread about it on here, and an re-indexing app.
here you have some
http://blogoio.com/stanza/list/Authors.xml
over 300,000 free titles, and they have the .epub format available for download

Ebooks are amazing. I think one of the most powerful weapons in the internet marketers' arsenal is the ebook. Your ebook format is in the right format to download.

App and Html help?

This may be a totally noob question but how can I make an app from a webpage? If I create an html page with a bunch of links to other pages and soundclips, how hard is it to turn that into an app. I have no experience creating android apps and I don't know the android code either. Can someone let me know if there is an easy way to create an app from the web page with the type of skills I have. (Very basic)
I do know html so theres no problem in the creation of the page. My only question is in the creation of the app. Thank you in advance for any help.
Can anyone help?
why bother? why not just give them the link to your webpage?
also - given the limited space of a typical android device, a full web page wouldn't translate well to an app.
to answer your original question, it is very easy to create an app that is just a pile html links and sounds.
thank you very much

[help] Offline wiki app

Hi, I'm looking for an app that allows me to view wikis in my phone offline, from my SDcard. I want to download the dump file of the wikis, not only wikipedia, but any other wiki, related to games, movies, etc., copy to sd card and use them with a reader.
I found 2 apps that can do that. The first one is fastwiki, which is very good, but it doesn't have images on wiki pages and they are a little messy with the quotes and images, they don't show it properly and the page doesn't have a clean aspect.
The other one is Leo's wikipedia reader, but i couldn't manage to create the wiki file.
Both of them comes with a xml converter to create the wiki file that the app will read. This allows me to view any wiki, not just wikipedia.
Please, if you know a wiki reader like those that's better, post here. Or if you know how to convert leo's file post them here.

[Completed] [Q] Download Links

I notice that a lot of the file download links here go to Dev-Host, where you actually download an executable to run (which installs - or wants to install - a browser plugin). and then I guess you get to retrieve the file. I'm naturally VERY suspicious of these arrangements, and reading their "privacy notice" made me feel even worse about it. Is this really the way a lot of folks on this site are sharing downloads? What am I missing? Thanks.
First, great question.
Having said that, there is no great answer that comes to mind.
Dev-host is a respected site used by thousands of people. I have not had any bad downloads or any other issues such as viruses and have not noticed any loss of sensitive information.
This is not a guarantee, just my experience.

HELP!! (Will donate)

I am willing to donate $100 to whoever answers my questions. I have been looking for an answer for almost 2 weeks now but no success..I hope you guys can help me out!
Let us say there is a game I play called xxx and in this game you have to upgrade buildings and do researches if you want to advance. Now my questions are:
1-When you upgrade the buildings to a certain level, they change their look.I have looked into the res folder of the apk but couldnt find any pictures of the buildings..Where are the pictures stored?
2-There are a lot of researches to do and each level of research requires a certain amount of resources. Now where in the apk can I find information regarding this ( the amount of resources, time etc of each research)?
3-I found alot of pkm files in the apk.I tried to open them with Notepad++ but all I see is symbols..Could this mean the file is encrypted?.If so, how can I decrypt it?
I know it is too much, sorry
Thank you for your time!
