I want to show you my first App "Tinnitus Prank".
This is a prank App to prank your friends and familiy!
It sounds like Tinnitus and is irritating. It is not so easy to find from where the noise Sound comes.
It is very simple to use and makes a lot fun!

I have tinnitus too, and have lived with it for 57 years, and I don't find this amusing either. But then, some people find it amusing to laugh at people in wheel chairs. I guess that is just the world we live in.
Perhaps it would be a better idea to change the name to something less contentious like mosquito buzz; you're less likely to get your lights punched out by someone you pranked by mistake that doesn't find tinnitus funny. You never know what they might find amusing, and you probably won't want to find out either.

I had choose this name because the most of Apps have the name mosquito and it´s not good when i have a App wich name is given in many different versions.
Since I have a tinnitus since I was 16 (32 now) I think its a good way to show other people what I am dealing with all day. Alltho its no as high as the one I have...mine is at a much much higher sound pitch

I also have it from working with air tools from 16 to now 51. Like you say not high enough but it will show others what we put up with.
I'm not highly for the name but app is useful.

I have tinnitus and I think it's hilarious. Now I can "share" my experience with others lol! Kudos to the dev, funny stuff.
I think people get too sensitive about ****.. yes if I saw a person in a wheelchair doing "stand up" comedy, making fun of himself as part of his routine, I would laugh at that too. Life's too short to take everything so damn serious.

Found it realllllyyy gets on cats nerves sends them into freak out mode trying to find out where its coming from, quite useful for a good laugh.

I had choose this name because the most of other names are given in many versions and it seems than to be only for one category like
"Cat Trancer 5000" (by the way, funny name ) Tinnitus prank is very simple and its easy to see

Hey guys I have tinnitus too. Some moments I can't laugh that this may be a prank but like someone else said we live and why can't we laugh with it.
Let me take a moment to hijack this thread and warn people about this since this prank may turn into a nightmare for some of use .... a permanent nightmare that is.
Ok, you have different levels of tinnitus but I can surely imagine why some people commit suicide since I thought about it in the beginning. Now I am not a softy but if it wasn't for my son and wife I might not have been here anymore. It can be that serious!
I now have 5 people in my surroundings that have admitted that they have it and 2 of them really bad but did not tell because they were afraid.
Now, read and stick it in the back of your head. Better to prevent than to cure!
For some of you, read most of you, who will start to think after the damage has been done, check this. If the beep, ringing etc is not going away after 24 hours of the concert, party ... whatever .... do not go to a doctor as most of them have no clue. Instead go to a hospital or center where they threat people with diving accidents and have a pressure chamber. I went to the hospital for a week doing 2 pressure sessions a day plus cortisone. You have x-amount of chance that it will help. X is yet to be determined but I am almost certain that it helped me and others.
Now play with the app and finally let other people experience what you might experience.

This Dev infighting is getting really old.
The recent "he said she said" board wars have reminded me of a childhood situation we have all experienced... in short.. "Its my ball, and I'm going home!"
I remember how much this attitude disgusted me even at 5 years old, and it's only gotten worse as I age.
It's beyond impossible to deduce who is at fault and who is a victim of all this finger pointing, a situation we have all experienced in a typical MMO raid situation.
Most of us figured out real quick how pointless infighting is, the ones who didn't faded away and became non-players, I pray the same result doesn't arise from our current XDA situation.
Man up peeps, don't sweat the small stuff, because it doesn't matter, life is too short!! 8)

Just happened to be browsing the forums and ran across it. I believe the only reason any of this was kicked up from the dirt was because i revealed that Drizzy was actually HardDaez, the original dbag whom my comments towards i will hold back, and this sparked community retaliation. It's not so much "inside dev fighting" as it is "community stoning." It's YOU guys trying to shun the fakes from the real cold-blooded devs.
In my honest opinion, cyanogen has EVERYONE beat. The guy pretty much reinvented android, and injected it with all sorts of steroids; but that's just my two cents.

so you want someones thread for a request closed because you and a few others think a certain app is not worthy of the great hd2......if this app doesnt interest you just move onto the next thread. some of us actually like fun/useless apps to mess about with now an again. really cant see the problem. thats all im gonna say, have a good day now.........
I don't know why lots of people on XDA Devs are such downers. He just asked for an interesting app and everyone comes and flames him because he's not "serious" enough or whatever the flying heck that means.
I've seriously seen some people asking for some help on the HD2 and when no one can help him, he gets criticized for being an iPhone sympathizer and turned away.
If some people want a rotary app you just say if you can help or turn away, don't leave a jerk comment, and close the thread. No need to be rude, witty or worse.

The iPhone has some great apps. It would be nice if they worked on the HD2. But they don't. But when people ask if there's a comparable app, I don't see a problem with it. I myself am one of your "Serious Users," and I wish there were more of the little fun apps for the HD2.

the funny thing is, i guess that no one would have been upset about this request/thread if there wasn't such an app for the iphone
Ok so here is the curveball i am not being obnoxious and i am sorry if i came across as such, i guess i just am a little sore as i guess many other people are that the windows market place is no where and probably never will be close to the App store, so it is just something i have come to accept. I may have bitten yesterday but it just seems to be so frequesnt people wanting the HD2 like the iphone which it will never be. I am always the first to jump at a new app and still am.
I just found this free app in the market....i have a little daughter that i'm sure gonna love it.... here's my first, lol

Stop spreading FUD. It needs access to your contacts for the share option and needs access to your SDcard for saving.

Well boys and girls I just want to say thank you for the fun. I've made the jump to the atrix and I am loving it.
Thanks to all the developers who made my captivate usable. Gonna miss these forums, but its time for me to use a better phone.

Have you guys tried one of these yet? And I ask that not as a smartass ir anything but seriously. This phone is amazing. I don't see anything wrong with it and don't feel the need to use a ROM on it.

I must say I didn't notice my GPS not working on my captivate when I had it navigating me to a tire repair shop today... thank god for making it give me turn by turn directions. lol.. but seriously GPS works thanks to Devs! and Yes I've tried a Atrix out and it just wasn't for me, not sure if its the Blurr or what it just felt sluggish for the UI.
Now the Inspire feels good smooth no locked boot loader, OC 1.8GHz now that is a piece of hardware I'd get my hands on if I didn't know there were better phone's right around the corner
Oh my gps worked on my captivate after finding the right ROM. This one just happens to work out of the box. About to go hook the phone up to my hdtv with the included hdmi cable and watch some videos I took

Man quit being a jerk! Seriously though, you're right in a way, but really I think the multiple threads are fine and those who have an issue with them need to remember that they don't have to read them. They really cause no harm. People will be people and do it even with a sticky and people will still complain about it.

I had an atrix for a day and it was enough for me. The phone was very fast but the screen did not compare to my captivate. I'll be waiting for the galaxy s2 to come out.

Agreed. Why does everyone feel obligated to say they're leaving the captivate? I mean how important can that actually be
Lol it is a great phone; very fast and has a ton of RAM. I'm actually taking mine back in place of a Captivate and Nexus 1 tomorrow though.
I'm sure the bootloader will get cracked or something eventually and when that happens, my upgrade will be used.
These threads do nothing but cause conflicts as the the person leaving will always gush over their new purchase (and sometimes put down their previous device) while thread readers will always defend their device because they still have it.
I can't help but think that these thread starters do so with the intent to ruffle some feathers on their way out. More like a "I'm better than you" attitude masked by pretending to thank the community and developers. If they really wanted to thank developers, they would send them a PM. As for thanking the rest of the community, in all due respect, I don't think anyone really cares.
Now if it was a prominent developer leaving, I could see the reason for a thread in the general forums but a run-of-the-mill user who hasn't contributed anything significant won't affect anyone in the slightest.

Thank you so much for assuming my intentions. In all honesty I was thanking the devs and simply saying goodbye.to a good bunch of people.
Personally I think that everyone who has to ***** about a thread they don't want to read are a waste if space and are only doing so to call attention to the fact that they seem to think they are better than anyone else and want nothing more than to belittle everyone.
So glad though that you could see right through my guise and to the heart of the matter.
Maybe one day you will realize that no one really gives a **** about you and that you are a waste of space, but I digress, I wouldn't want someone to assume I harbored any ill will to someone who is only here to make himself feel better about, well himself.
Again thank you devs. You made a good phone great, but I would rather have a phone that worked out of the box and.provided a great experiance that can be built upon, than a phone that could have been great out.of the box, but had to be improved upon to make it usable.

Oh wow this thread is funny. I could care less about people saying they got rid of their captivate and went with something else. I personally like reading threads like this and hearing debates about the differences it makes me know good and bad points about each phone. But I definitely seems like the dude was just thanking developers and saying goodbye...maybe bragging a little that he just upgraged to a dual core processing phone but that cool there's nothing wrong with that.
As for me I still love my captivate and am excited about the galaxy s 2. Super amoled plus and all the other good stuff. Plus I don't care what people say about samsung I love em. Maybe they suck at updates but whatever.

I wasn't saying that he was doing any different. But there has been a more than a few of these threads as of late, and I just feel it takes a bit away from people coming in to these forums looking to discuss their current phones.
Hey Darell, is that true that the GPS connects very very fast?? I saw a video and took only very few seconds to connect.
I am happy your happy with your new Atrix. I did go to the store to try it out, seems nice overall, but not really 'nicer' than the captivate to me. I do love the screen on the captivate. I am waiting myself for tegra 3 phones before I jump...

If they really want to thank the developers they should just donate to the whomever's ROM they were using and move on. The "Bye, I've left for the XXX" just comes off as rubbing our noses in it. Nobody really cares.

Its currently gr. only, but we just talked about it and the next version will have an option to choose between oz and gr. I have no idea why we haven't thought about it before, thanks guys!

Just so you know AVG identifies your app as an intrusive ad app. I'm not sure if it is because I uninstalled it once I saw this warning. Thought the developer should know.

We are working on the new version of the app ! Stay tuned ! New graphics, better algorithm.
We will would make a list of devices which would be 100% supported by the app and details instructions how to use it! All I can say now is that it works a lot better!

Don't know if this app works or not? Looked at it on the play store & as a retired highgrade skunk smoker I see a flaw in you're app.... Scales are quite cheap to buy these days for as little as £10 FOR OK QUALITY ONES, BUT IF I WAS A DEALER & SOMEONE COME UP TO ME & SAID TO ME.... THIS 8TH WEIGHS WELL UNDER LOOK? & SHOWED ME IT USING YOU'RE APP & INFO.... I'D FLIP OUT & TELL THEM TO DO ONE & DON'T COME BACK (THATS BEING NICE) Worse case someone would get smacked up or even knifed/killed.... if this app is just for fun then fine but my advice for you would be work on a normal stoner app & not one what might get someone hurt/killed or laughed off the estate with? There are alot of nutters out there who dont play games when it comes to money & drugs.... have a heart mate

First of all, I don't think anyone would seriously confront their person and make a scene based on a reading from this app. It's kind of expected that it won't be super accurate...secondly, Android flashers/fanatics (not just users in general) tend to not be the kind of people who get knifed, jeeze.
That said, I'd certainly like to know why several users say AVG shows it as being malicious. That hasn't been explained yet and I do want to believe...
Just saying that maybe someone who is to believe that this app maybe an option to weigh weed correctly with it, then maybe they are not thinking right? Sometimes people do stupid things when there on drugs. Its like saying a phone can xray you're hand or tell if you have eaten this morning?

If you are worried about the performance of this app just go buy a real scale. And since marijuana is usually $10 a gram and its very easy to hand pick a gram. Why would you worry? Majority of people who buy marijuana get from a buddy any who and usually know how much they will get.

Im not worried, if you're big enough to smoke weed you "SHOULD" be big enough to no better! But like I say "SHOULD BE" I'm not some kid who don't know what I'm talking about.... I'm 35yrs old & grew up from the age of 14yrs old smoking big amounts of skunk on a fairly rough estate in England, mixed people doing drink & all sorts of hard drugs, so i know what im talking about. I am not anti drugs & have nothing against anyone doing what ever they like as long as they don't bother me or my family. don't worry mate I have a clear head so no worries mate :thumbup:

It told me my crack was light. I stabbed my crack dealer. Going to see the weed man now. Think I might just shoot him tho. Great app!

I believe ppl are smart enough to do not use it for "business". It can come handy when you want weigh something with friends, want to amuse them or just get laid chicks loving cool gadgets. Peace
