I'm in! stock, optimized sense is basically what Virtuous roms are, so I think that would definitely please a lot of folks here.
Let me know what I can do to help test.
Count me in too!
Stock Sense 3.0 would be the best! Pretty much like the Sensation even or the Virtuous Unity ROM with the customizable lockscreen and quick settings and stuff. You'd have a winner there and I'll definitely contribute $$$ to the cause!
You may have noticed from my activity around here i'm more then willing to dive in head first and clean my wounds later - count me in.
Only thing to note is - I still haven't made any actual phone calls with the device, and don't intend to - you'll have to count on other testers to give feedback on that portion of the ROM.
If absolutely necessary I can be persuaded to call my verizon dumb-phone for testing purposes, but i'd prefer not to.
Thanks for devvin' for us!

PM sent! I can't wait!
Getting down with the get down.
Install successful, good job.
Detailed test report sent via PM in a few minutes (when I finish typing it up) - don't want to influence what other testers have to say by posting here right away.
The rest of you guys should do the same, report here if the install is successful, then send your detailed review through PM to CK23.
Blue6IX, good idea. I installed successfully. Rebooted a few times to see what would happen. Everything seems fine. Haven't looked at battery life yet. Definitely seems snappier than the stock rom. Details forthcoming. Great work getting this ball rolling!!!

+1 install was successful. Seems like the stock ROM with the Sense Launcher removed and Launcher Pro added, but as far as build and install scripts everything worked perfectly! Let me know if you want any details on functionality, but so far everything seems to be working great!
By the way, this ROM will overwrite your "factory reset" image accessed from the settings menu. When you do a "factory reset" with this mod, it'll bring you back to the way it was when you first installed it, so you don't have to go through the CWM menu to re-install.
Good job CK23, very complete for an alpha release.
Restoring to a previous CWM backup will give you the old "factory reset" image back.
(yes, i've been flashing back and forth to compare)

I created a theme using UOT Kitchen and it appears that some of the items I had included aren't working. I'm currently on humble 4.22 and am wondering if the items aren't working with the rom. If anyone is up to trying this out for me and seeing if all items work on a gb build other than 2.3.5 I would be very thankful.
Items included in the theme:
BIOS boot animation (not working)
Red overscroll glow (works)
Battery indicator changed (works)
Signal indicator (not working)
Emoticons (not working)
Custom black and white and white and red load icons
All of this is on a black background and launcher pro. I was trying for a simple black and white theme. If anyone is interested I can post the zip file.
Edit: here is the zip file for you all. Try it out and let me know how it works for you, issues, and what rom you are running.

Okay well in the UOT kitchen the emotions are put in the framework-res.apk but for the phone calls them from the mms.apk so you will have to do it yourself with 7zip and then push to your phone. Also with the signal bars UOT places them in the systemUI.API which is right but there are 2 sets of them the phone call them from a different name which is the vzw_stat_signal_1.PNG but there are aleast 12 of them so just copy and rename the copies and then push the file. Oh and as for the bootanimation its probably named sanim.zip just rename to bootanimation.zip and you should be good to go. If you have more problems let me know I'm here to help.

Thanks for the reply. I extracted all the framework.res files from both my rom and from UOT. I'm going to go through and edit the battery icons and a few other items. The UOT files don't even include the signal indicators that I had selected so I may just end up making custom ones. Its really just a matter creating them, saving them as PNG files, replacing them, and pushing the framework.res file back to the phone, right?
Pretty much thats it!!! Did you upload the systemUI.apk to the UOT kitchen or just the framework-res.apk?
I uploaded both files. When pushing the files back to the phone will I need to delete the originals or will it overwrite them?
Sorry for the n00b questions but when it comes to this stuff I'm...well...a n00b lol

The files will be overwritten. And don't worry about the questions this is a learning process so ask away we all have to start somewhere and if I can help you understand and make you better then we all win.

Yeah I have to agree the devs that work on these Roms and themes are pretty crafty and my thanks and appreciation goes out to all of them.
Also once you have finished the battery mod post new screen shots so I can see how its going?

Why would you say that?
Do you mean that in a negative manner?
Sent from my HUMBLE 4.22 using xda premium
I apologize if this thread seems pointless. I am just curious to see if some elements of UOT just do not work on EP3 based roms, if there was error on my behalf, or UOT just simply does not work as hoped.
One should not have to feel diminished because some are not up to par as others. It just baffles me that others would mock ones questions when the point of a forum is to help better understand and share.
So Locket just keep up the work and disregard what one might think or say. I'm download and view, ill get back to you!!

Releasing stuffed cooked up on theme kitchen rediculous. If you have questions, ask. Dont cook crap up on theme kitchen (on that joke of a "rom", humble) and call it theme. Theme kitchen is for personal use.
Now, if you are interested in learning to theme, pm me. I will get you my gtalk info give all the help you want to put out an actual theme.

I do realize that the kitchen is used for personal use and this isn't intended to be a full-on theme to be released to the masses. It is just me screwing around with it and seeing what options were there and see what I could come up with. I'm not much of a developer/graphic designer/etc. As stated, I made this post to see how well the kitchen worked with our phones, ep3, and if the items stated that aren't working are related to one of the two.
As far as the rom goes, its not too bad of a rom. I am personally a GC fan and since there isn't an ep3 GC rom yet I decided to go with this. Do you have any idea when you and the team are releasing a new rom?
I may have to take you up on your offer as I would like to learn to theme and will probably have loads of questions. Now that I have two different framework apks to look through I can sit down and compare the two and make some basic generalizations.
If this comes off as me being a **** that is certainly not my intention. I just want to clarify my reasoning behind this thread.

ep3 is the same as ep1 as far as the rom goes. ep3 was just a kernel update. if you flash an ep3 kernel you will be up to date.
if there is another gummy release it will be just a patch to fix some bugs. team gummy and team liberty have merged. the next release will be Liberty ROM for the Charge.
Ahh that I did not know, lol. This is the first GB rom I've run as I wanted to keep the reliability of ee4 (which didn't happen on GC 2.0) and wanted to wait for an official OTA. One of the options in TSM Parts didn't play well and sent my phone bootlooping and then decided to try out ep3.
In this thread I will post my attempts at Boot animations. Some I have seen before but I didn't like how they were So i reworked them to my liking.
I will not take credit for the ones previously created by someone else, but I will take credit for my mods.

This booanimation is not new. But I could never get it to work on my GS4G. I now know how to mess with them more, so here is my contribution.
Tested..............05/04/2013
Resolution.........480x662
FPS..................7
Credit for Original images to UNKNOWN.... I could figure out who originally created this.
CM10 bootanimation
This one was also created by someone else, but I didn't like how small the animation was. I made it as big as I could and it looks great.
Tested..........05/01/2013
Resolution.....480x480
FPS..............24
Digital Noise bootanimation
This bootanimation I created from a video found on Shutterstock.com, unfortunately it has a Watermark because their videos cost way too much to get without it.
Basically digital noise or static on video line. Looks neat during boot-up. Might make people think phone is messed up.
Tested..........05/04/2013
Resolution.....480x698
FPS..............25
Click on image below to see animation before download. Actual resolution is much better
Can anyone provide me with info on how to get the cia boot animation to work. It doesnt flash correctly. It doesnt have meta inf. If someone could point me in the right direction i would donate

This is a Stock Rom based on my deodexed Build for AT&T LG G3 D85010d
Its a fully Deodexed with stock kernel so it doesn't need to be s"bump'd" . Its still in Beta and some things might be a little off but should be good enough to use as a daily. I put an unbelievable amount of time inverting things and made huge strides but still have more I have to do.
Thanks go to
Bump Team for making flashing roms possible
Google- for the OS
LG-overall a good device
ArchiKitchen- what I used to get this going
WARNING!!! You are responsible for what you flash on your phone! By downloading and flashing this you assume all responsibility for what happens to your device and nobody but YOU can be held responsible!
Features
Rooted
BusyBox
Zipaligned
Deodexed
Init.d support
App apps in mulitwindow
Removed Carrier IQ
Themed darker!! (less blinding light)
Some tweaks
Removed OTA apps
To do list:
Update 11-11-14
Finish invert white background to black (mostly inverted, still have more to do)
Add more tweaks and mods
Speed things up some more (if possible)
disable/remove entitlement check( just started to work on this)
Make themes
Possibly more as I am learning about the G3 as I go along. This is my first LG phone and I need to learn how things work so it will take me some time to really change things up.
Dark Wulf Rom
UPDATE 11-13-14
Removed ota apks so you shouldnt get OTA upadates
Inverted Calculator and file manager
Clean up some more white text on white bg (still have some here and there)
BUGS/Issues
1. some black text on black background (not to many places but its spread out)
2.some white text on white background (not many places but its spread out)
3.Selecting help in bluetooth settings will cause a force close (doesnt hurt nothing, if you need bluetooth help there is a Q&A section )
possibly more.
Instructions:
1 .Download Rom to sdcard
2. boot into TWRP
3. make a full backup -always good ideal
4. wipe data, cache, system and factory reset (required)
5. flash Rom
6.r eboot
7. enjoy! (Optional)
On first boot it can take 5-10 minutes to load so give it some time.
Do not use this Rom as your base.
Rom is darker than before but a lot more work to do.
DarkWulf Beta 2 download - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001610354

Just flashed. Seems to be working fine. 4g is good. No keyboard lag. Can't wait to see what else you add/change!
Gonna download and flash right now

Just about update. Been real busy at work and spending countless hours of free time working on inverting this. It is coming along but just when I think I have it I stumble across something else I need to fix.
If I can fix the things I found wrong I might have another beta sometime this weekend (hopefully). You still might see some things a little off but should be good enough to use.
Plus side battery has been pretty decent for me with light usage.[emoji106]

Does this rom check for a tethering subscription like all of the others?
I know there are couple of threads out there about showing off homescreens and/or screenshots, but from what I've seen, they are for specific products. I created this so that people can show off their homescreens and/or screenshots from ANY product. All I ask is that you show a pic of your homescreen and/or screenshots, the product your using & if you are using a custom or stock ROM. Have fun.
NO bashing others about what they are proud to show off. Everybody has put some kind of work into making their phones personalized to thier liking.
I can't read a single word of most of what you just wrote. It's just one big blue blur....
Going by the title, I'd say it's about showing your homescreen.
