I'm in! stock, optimized sense is basically what Virtuous roms are, so I think that would definitely please a lot of folks here.
Let me know what I can do to help test.

Count me in too!

Stock Sense 3.0 would be the best! Pretty much like the Sensation even or the Virtuous Unity ROM with the customizable lockscreen and quick settings and stuff. You'd have a winner there and I'll definitely contribute $$$ to the cause!

You may have noticed from my activity around here i'm more then willing to dive in head first and clean my wounds later - count me in.
Only thing to note is - I still haven't made any actual phone calls with the device, and don't intend to - you'll have to count on other testers to give feedback on that portion of the ROM.
If absolutely necessary I can be persuaded to call my verizon dumb-phone for testing purposes, but i'd prefer not to.
Thanks for devvin' for us!

PM sent! I can't wait!

Getting down with the get down.
Install successful, good job.
Detailed test report sent via PM in a few minutes (when I finish typing it up) - don't want to influence what other testers have to say by posting here right away.
The rest of you guys should do the same, report here if the install is successful, then send your detailed review through PM to CK23.

Blue6IX, good idea. I installed successfully. Rebooted a few times to see what would happen. Everything seems fine. Haven't looked at battery life yet. Definitely seems snappier than the stock rom. Details forthcoming. Great work getting this ball rolling!!!
Sent from my myTouch_4G_Slide using xda premium

+1 install was successful. Seems like the stock ROM with the Sense Launcher removed and Launcher Pro added, but as far as build and install scripts everything worked perfectly! Let me know if you want any details on functionality, but so far everything seems to be working great!

By the way, this ROM will overwrite your "factory reset" image accessed from the settings menu. When you do a "factory reset" with this mod, it'll bring you back to the way it was when you first installed it, so you don't have to go through the CWM menu to re-install.
Good job CK23, very complete for an alpha release.
Restoring to a previous CWM backup will give you the old "factory reset" image back.
(yes, i've been flashing back and forth to compare)

[ROM] [BETA] Pancake 2.2 (Froyo)

Note: This ROM is VERY beta, and not everything is working (yet). This rom is based on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795444 (which I'm also helping with). This ROM, at the moment, is not much different than the wildfire port, but it is a work in progress, and ment to be very Sprint-like (like the other Pancake ROMs).
Thanks to nfinitefx45 and Decad3nce!
What works:
EvDo
Calls
Microphone
Camera
Rosie
Flash player 10.1
Multitouch
MMS(Should work, however I haven't tried it yet)
What doesn't work:
Green LED (notifications)
WiFi
EPST/DCS
GPS

Edit: Successfully flashed and setting up now. Will post results shortly. -- Besides minor graphical changes that still need to be made and a defunct keyboard I had to pull out it's a good build, man a lot of progress has been made on this pretty quickly. Can't wait to see the end product.
I will try this as well

What issue is it that you can't get stable with? As gas's rom was built from the same thing mine is. Along with the fact he has even went to putting some of the same stuff in it.
The only issue as of right now is swype which I know what it is. I just have to get that far.

{ROMS}{closed}SS_Ace_Ultra v2/ NS_Ace_Ultra v3 {Sense/No Sense}

I originally built these two Rom's for a friend of mine. But I thought ide share them. The builds are based off my Evo 4g builds. The idea was to keep it stock, simple and fast, but rebuild it like HTC should have. Reliable with solid performance. So here it is the Inspire_Ultra line. Stock base with a lot of Voodoo magic and tweaks. Feel free to use any of my Rom's as your base. Just remember to give a [link] back to the tread, and some props.

No it means wipe 3 times and then go make a sandwich........what do you think it means?..hahahahaha
Looks good blaz1nr, I've seen this over on the EVO OG and can honestly say I'm glad to have it on the Inspire
You can always wipe just once. If you have ever owned an evo you'll find left over data sometimes after a fresh install. So I always recommend 3x wipes to make sure your phone is cleaned all the way, before install.

Were the issues with the xloud fixed? Them being that they could damage our speakers?
I did flash your no sense version when you first opened your thread, ran it for about ten minutes cause I was kinda lazy to reconfigure everything. It did seem nice, a bit laggy, but then again, it was automatically downloading all my apps. I forgot to check, what android version is it?

Both Roms now data app enabled. Xloud volumes have already been lowered, can be adjusted in dsp manager. Beats now native. On NS. Go launcher is slow at first it needs to build cache. Once it boots fully, just reboot and it speeds up.
This is much better in new version.
Mms issue on SS will be handled, by Handcent as native mms. It's just way better. And works flawlessly.
New Roms will be up soon,I still need to fix a few more things.

This had to of been one of the easiest ports ever. lol..
This ROM is amazing. One of the best I've seen so far on the Evo Shift. Pretty much everything works out of the box so far. I love the high resolution layout. The tiny text gives me a headache, but I know you're already working on that. I checked out the camera and if you go into settings and set it to 4MP it starts working. You can then put it back up to 5MP. Camera also works fine in barcode scanner, etc. Still need to test the GPS (I'm inside right now but wi-fi based location works without issue).
I installed the Google Now apk from this thread, it it works great.
BTW, the market got stuck on downloading at one point, but a reboot fixed it.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the feedback!! I'm glad you enjoy my work! I'll start the Google Now soon I need help from a friend with the whole small text thing, then I'll launch into other things. Thanks!!

Forgot to mention, "Paranoid Settings" in the system settings app causes a FC. Is this a known issue?
I've noticed too but I think I can fix it with something simple.. Thanks for letting me though

I've got someone to help me with getting Jelly Bean for everyone. I'm NOT guaranteeing that I will get it booted. I'll let everyone know if I have the Rom booted or not either 7/25/12 or 7/26/12. All this work is making me dizzy lol. I can't wait to see if I can get it booted! There will be no developing on this paranoid android Rom FOR NOW due to me focusing on 4.1 for everyone. Cheers
~Mega
Awesome dude. Great job. I am glad you got paranoid. I love this on my nook color.
I'm all thumb's
You're doing a great job! Keeping the shift alive!
I would thank you both but I'm limited and I'm glad you like my paranoid. Just can't focus on 2 Roms at once so most of my focus will be towards 4.1 for the time being. I know that 4.1 will bump the Shift up a lil and keep it out the Low Activity & Legacy Devices AKA HTC Hero CDMA. Still shocked they got it before we did. Well it sure did motivate me to start 4.1 I'm getting help from Shelnutt2 with my 4.1. So all creds go to him! Without him I wouldn't know where to begin Have a great day and looking forward to getting 4.1 to the shift

Modifying /system/build.prop to add the line below will make it so that "Paranoid Settings" starts working (don't know which version of paranoid android you're using, so I had to guess).
Code:
ro.pa.version=paranoidandroid-pa_speedy-1.5a-25jun2012-170644
Then going into Paranoid Settings -> "Hybrid Settings" -> "Default Status Bar Density" you can change how big you want it. 160 DPI works for me. You can also change other apps to have different DPIs.

You're VERY welcome! I hope you enjoy it! Do please bear in mind though that it IS just in the Beta stages and will get better & better all the time. Also, as a major feature all the little quirks that existed in my original port of CarbonROM seem to have been stomped on by $Droid$. The FC's that popped up from time to time for no apparent reason and the fact that I couldn't get e-mail working in the last are finally GONE. Plus, 1080p video is cranking along smoothly now too as well as flawless PIE. It's a GREAT ROM and I believe everyone is going to like it MUCH better this time. He is a fantastic developer and I'm always pleased to be able to share his work with everyone. ENJOY! :good:
actually could you tell me what carbon ROM is exactly? all i really know is that it formed from liquidsmooth, and it's one of the few ROMs that was given early access to PA/HALO, and it's a lot like PA.

If you will use your file manager and go into system/apps & delete Google calendar you can then reinstall your normal 4.2.2 Gapps over the top of everything. That will put it back to normal & syncing the way it should. Evidently something got corrupted in the original Google Calendar when It was preinstalled. This procedure will replace it.
I'm using carbon on my gnex and it is amazing! Got a mt4gs chillin on my desk at home so I may have to throw this on there and give it a whirl!

You're gonna like it. Turned out fully functional with this port. Smoother, 1080p recording, more stable (my port), HALO. Like a different animal.

I just got XenonHD running this morning between project "requests" here at work. I'm going to check it out for a while and see if BullDoze minds if I turn it loose over here for everyone. Right now it looks GREAT though!

Just a few things I noticed while playing around, the dark carbon toggle doesn't do anything haha, the two stage camera doesn't actually take the pic just the halfway point makes it focus (touching the blue shutter onscreen is fine though), and Settings > Storage FC's.. But nonetheless daily driver fosho!

Yeah, sorry, I'll try to get up a fix for that today. Just turn off the hardware KB in settings/Lang-KB and it'll work normally until you reboot. It'll save the proper state from a nandroid though.

I noticed the toggle is really light anyway but won't work at all from a theme.
