(Request) FULL IncRevolution port to Skyraider

Ive found a thread with a port of increvolution, but it was a personal port, and it was edited by the person who posted the theme. so now i am asking you people to please port it to skyraider 3.3
i would like to keep the Espresso rosie
the person who is willing to do this for me will get a donation

Any word on progress? I liked INCRevolution on Virtuous, but had to leave it (Virtuous) because of problems with Handcent, but loved the theme!

I'm still working on getting it to flash. Done with theme. Did you want it to be exactly like increv or did you want it to not have anything labeled. Like did you want me to remove the words that say inc rev from everything?

Personally, I do not mind the IncRev stuff. So long as the Android green that permeates everything is nonexistent, I shall be a happy rooter. And while the orange (highlighted selections, etc) does not bother me nearly as much, feel free to dispose of it as well. Hmmm... perhaps I should throw you some more money for a completely custom color scheme.
I cannot wait to check out the screens and deliver donation.

if you want to check out RedRaven rom
im just porting my theme to work with SR 3.3 and adding the increv stuff to it
got rid of about 95% of red
the market is now fully red
phone is fully red even the little green droid guy on call screen is red
most of the green icons are red
im just having trouble getting it to flash with SR 3.3
i may try a metamorph zip to flash it.

I like the inc rev I would leave it XD. I can't wait for this theme. Lol I'm not living virtuous until skyraider gets it. Thank you so much for porting XD

Thanks for working on it. I personally don't mind the INCRev logos. The theme from the Virtuous section of rom manager does technically work, but the problem is that you loose the "recently used" in the pull down menu by using the theme. Although if yours is more red than INCRevo then by all means, I'll give yours a shot =] I kinda like the red, it brings out the red of the speaker on the front of the phone I feel. Might be time to get a red case!

sorry for the delay i just have so many projects that im working on right now its hard to
find the time to do everything.
i have caught up a bit so ill be able to focus on this a bit more
my main issues right now are
1. when flashing the theme it boot loops when you try to get the power menu by power button.
2. the recent apps in the task bar pull down.
so once i fix these issues i will have it working for you guys

Perhaps ihtfp69 could assist?

I'm running 3.3.2 and loaded the R
IncREVolution theme that is supposed to work on,any DeOdexed Rom, and the power button also reboots the phone. It doesn't make it keep rebooting, just any time you press the power button, which is of course annoying..... may try the latest Virtuous release with IncrEVOlution

I do not take any credit for this, I just ported the awesome work @ackprash and Chris Soyars did.
The framework is themed I didn't spend the time to apply new icons to the apk files.

This theme works Flawlessly on top of CM. Haven't had a single issue except that I can't leave my Incredible alone because it looks so great now. Thanks for the port.

reflashed Cyan and then this theme and now everything works. I don't see much that is changed besides the taskbar.

Correct just the framework was adjusted, I did not include any themed apps as preference as I like to do my own. I was going to include but got caught up with gb source and I hope to bring a newer version all done by myself rather than a port.

Here you go, this was a request from someone in the irc chat. It's missing an icon, I will try to find one when I can but otherwise it's a complete theme. Prereqs: You must be on at least 2.2 pnp for this to work, do not install if you don't have pnp.
Standard backup procedure
Boot to recovery (Disable lagfix if enabled)
Wipe Dalvik
Install zip
Reboot

No prob, hopefully I can find a replacement icon tonight. Also, I'm thinking this one needs some themed apps to go along with it so I'll take a look and see if I can't port any from another theme that would be a good match. (take a look for me if you want)

Anything from superdark would probably fit. Also I'm a graphic designer, id be glad to he'll you make a theme or parts of a theme or whatever.

The last few ports I did have a "mobile data" button in the fascinate theme, instead of our "silent" button, so they haven't been porting over. (Not sure of exact image name at this point)

Wow this theme looks great. I flashed back to 2.1 until there's a better version of froyo, but once there is I will be flashing this!

If someone wants to try and find the icon or even create it, this could be finished faster

hopefully tonight or tomorrow I will get some free time, I have some creation stuff like this planned along with a port of the gingerbread theme and a red version of midnight that was requested. Eventually I will be making my own theme

made an icon and just flashed it and it didn't work, I'm pretty sure I know the problem but unless somebody knows a way to open apk files as an archive on my phone I will have to wait until I get home late tonight.

If you send me the icon, I can replace it in the package and re-upload.
I don't think i'ts possible to edit the .apk on your phone (because you would have to unzip it and you can't do it that way, you have to replace the file while i'ts still packaged (using 7zip/winrar)

yeah I don't think I can get in to get the pictures out, I'll do it tonight.

Cool, thanks. Let me know what comes up. What seems to be a problem, what seems to be broken, how the GUI looks.

if anyone knows how to disable the power saver feature, so that your screen and keyboard don't get all dark once you hit 15 or 10% battery, and also so that you can still use your camera at 10% battery, I think it would be cool. not sure if this power saver annoys other people or not, lol, but there were ROMs for the Epic 4G that had this tweak, but I never found out how it was done.

Your skype version doesn't work properly. The advance features crash the app. Also just a sidenote the skype is for gingerbread not froyo so that's probably why

It's good for your first rom I've had a few androids now and for not being a heavy developer it is good. Personally i cant give a good comparison as i have my gov2 supercharged, it seems to run just as nice though. I didnt use this rom super long, more like i just wanted to test it out. Keep up the goodwork!

Thanks for the feedback, I was thinking about disbanding this ROM...but I may stick with it. Can you let me know if Swype works with the orange trace? I'm now working on 2 ROMS.

Swype beta and the gingerbread keyboard kept non stop force closing after both times I tried flashing it.

yeah, same here, constant force close loop, with only about 2 or 3 seconds to try and do anything in-between force closes.

Thanks for the feedback guys! From now on, I'm going to leave this ROM but I may come back to it in the future for whatever reason. For now on, please use the latest version of GenericGinger, which at the time of this post is 3.4 BETA. Thanks!

Same way you do it with stock - you have to open up the app drawer, hit the menu button, then select edit. You may need to switch the view type first - do that, and then you can drag things from the app drawer into the dock and vice versa.

Hey again -
To the few that do try this rom out - feel free to drop suggestions for other things to try and work in (beyond lockscreens of course). While I do have one known (and one unknown) surprise ready, I'd like to get a few more things worked into an update if at all possible. I can't say I'll be able to work in what is suggested, but I'll give it a shot at least

Having an updated tw launcher or a different launcher with the ability to have 5 or 6 apps in the dock would be all that I would ask for. Everything else is fantastic. Thanks for all your efforts.

Yeah I've thought about such things, but I always circle back to the idea that there are so many great 3rd party launchers out there I should let it be to encourage folks to explore those options lol. I also am leery on putting in a launcher that has a pay version or has the whole ask-for-permission hassle (that's not really a hassle), but I'll keep my eyes peeled for something different.
I am of course open to suggestions

Yeah I have run the gambit : holo, zeam, adw, nova... all seem to be missing something that just isn't there or costs 4 bones to have... I'm gonna search through xda as the play store has been a bust. If I find anything I'll post for sure.

Seems a good ROM, thank you. One thing, Google now didn't seem to be there/working for me. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be but I added it without any bother so it's hardly a real issue. Oh also what does the 'swag' button do on quick toggles. It seemed to just take me to download mode. Anyway, thanks again

Google Now should have been working - all the stuff from the referenced link was added for it anyway. How is it different now vs. when you first flashed the ROM? Could you get me a screenshot of what it looks like for you now? Perhaps I missed something...
LOL on the swag toggle - I meant to change how that behaved. The toggle is there for fun only, but to mess with people on the Gingerbread build I had it set to force download mode if you turned it on while auto-brightness is turned on - I forgot to change that, my bad
EDIT: Derp... I see what I forgot... Ok, it will be fixed in 2.1, sorry about that For those not wanting to go and flash anything, all you need to do is delete /system/app/GoogleQuickSearchBox_USA.apk and then reboot and all will be well. My bad.

Google now just wasn't there before. It was standard search. Now I've added it mine looks like this:

Yep - everything in that is already in the rom, I just forgot to remove an apk. D'oh.

First off - thanks to those that have offered some feedback on this, it is very much appreciated. That being said, I know not many have tried this out but I'm getting an update together, so I wanted to ask if anyone has noticed anything else not working quite as they expected or anything that should be changed/added/removed...?
I haven't come across anything I wanna do with the launcher yet, but I have cleaned up a few things in the toggles, Google Now is now working as it should, I fixed another little bug I found when you first turn on wifi after flashing... outside of that is there anything people have found that I should address before updating? No worries if not - like I said not many have tried this out, but I'd like to get all the little issues ironed out before updating if possible.

Great ROM. Very smooth. But is there any way I can get the touchwiz ICS style battery percentage next to the battery icon?

Hmm... is there an image you can share for this? I'm just not sure if you mean the size/font color of the %, or if its the battery icon itself is what needs to change. Shoot me an image and I'll get on it
