[Boot Animation] Chicago Blackhawks *user request, but still for everyone*

Here is the Chicago Blackhawks boot screen as requested by user thenewguy821.
Instructions: This is not flashable via recovery and must be pushed by ADB or copied to your SDcard and then moved to the correct system folder. Simply push or copy "bootanimation.zip" directly to either /system/customize/resource or /system/media depending on where your bootscreens are kept. Unrar the sound file and either push/copy that to the same directories. However the audio must be titled "android_audio.mp3" for bootscreens located in /system/media. The audio file can remain titled as downloaded for bootscreens in /system/customize/resource.

These are flashable zips of the bootanimation. The first one is for people that are on a rom that has the bootanimation located in system/customize/resource. It has the sound included. The second is for people that are running a rom that has the bootanimation located in system/media. It does not have the sound. Enjoy.

Ok, when I saw this post, I was on the xda app, so I had not even seen the preview. I dl'd and sent my initial thanks. I flashed the file, and my jaw dropped when the animation came up. You have done an amazing job on this.

Feel free to send it my way, I can upload the music so people can choose which they would like. For anyone curious, the current music is a slightly acapella verison of Queen - We Are The Champions. All I did was drop the instruments a little and raised the vocals a touch. I am glad everyone likes it... by the way, Illinois native here. GO HAWKS! keep it on the dl lol

I can get the windmill to work, but for some reason the beach wont load. I can preview it, but when I set it it goes back to the stock wallpapper. Oh well.

I too cannot get the Beach LWP to work. Not going to complain too much, the Windmill one is way cool.
I'd sure love to have both. Is there anyone that has the Beach LWP working on their G2X?? Wanna share any tips?

odd, i had the beach working fine on eaglesblood 1.04 froyo. but uninstalled due to how dull it looked. you'd think they could throw a few crabs in the sand,or a shark fin in the water or something. windmills however look pretty good.

When I go to the MediaFire link and click the ".apk" to download, it comes to my phone as a .TXT file! That's the problem. Its not an .apk file.
Do I need to convert it? Is that possible?

EDIT - I have figured it out. After downloading the .zip file, I used my PC to change the file extension to an .apk file. Then I just loaded the file onto my internal sd and installed. It is now working just fine.

Beach works just fine on my stock ROM. However, I think the animations are ugly.

[Bootanimation] Dr Who Theme

Hi all,
i made a doctor who inspired bootanimation for my tf101 and now i share it with the world
it's from the doctor who third series theme..
here is the video:
to install it you need to move the zip file in the /system/media dir by shell or a graphic file manager

This is pretty sweet!. It would be nice if it was a little sharper, but I imagine the lower resolution is for smoothness and file size.

Flaming Skull Bootanimation

I take no credit for creating this boot animation, All I did was resized it to fit our phones.
Just find the folder your animation is stored in, and replace it with the hTC_bootanimation.zip thats attached.

Your welcome. This has always been one of my favorites. When i pulled it off of rom toolbox it was alot larger so i resized ti . Finally got around to shareing it lol. Surprised someone didnt do it a long time ago. Would be cool to see it added to a rom. Make me feel like i contributed.

well, i got a suggestion for you (and please dont take it as rude or what not), the whole JUST adding letters to an image is not working so good in this case. You need to try to match the letters or whatever you are adding to the image colors. A few examples, then assasins creen image is hot, but the purple letters look out of place, maybe match then to the colors of the background, and add a shadow that matches with the lighter/brighter color. Another example will be to make the androids on the girls a bit smaller and match their outfits, and maybe a little soft blurring on the edges so it looks like a real tattoo. Either way, most of this look real good, just need a light touch up Thanks for sharing!
EDIT: here is a quick example of keeping the color scheme, hope it gives you ideas

(I hope you didn't skip over what PHE-NOM said, it's VERY good advice.) Also, don't forget to link the site you originally found the pictures on, because it is plagiarism.
