I can get the windmill to work, but for some reason the beach wont load. I can preview it, but when I set it it goes back to the stock wallpapper. Oh well.

I too cannot get the Beach LWP to work. Not going to complain too much, the Windmill one is way cool.
I'd sure love to have both. Is there anyone that has the Beach LWP working on their G2X?? Wanna share any tips?
odd, i had the beach working fine on eaglesblood 1.04 froyo. but uninstalled due to how dull it looked. you'd think they could throw a few crabs in the sand,or a shark fin in the water or something. windmills however look pretty good.
When I go to the MediaFire link and click the ".apk" to download, it comes to my phone as a .TXT file! That's the problem. Its not an .apk file.
Do I need to convert it? Is that possible?

EDIT - I have figured it out. After downloading the .zip file, I used my PC to change the file extension to an .apk file. Then I just loaded the file onto my internal sd and installed. It is now working just fine.
Beach works just fine on my stock ROM. However, I think the animations are ugly.

It's very pretty and very responsive. However, it doesn't support scrolling widgets. And its dock is about as basic as it gets (a problem for me since I use SiMi Folders + swipe actions on my dock, regardless of whether it's LP or Go). I can't use it until these things are implemented. However, once/if they are it will probably become my primary launcher.
It also doesn't support live wallpapers, which I don't care about, but you might.
Hey I was wondering if someone could help me out. I would like to get the nba jam tournament edition title screen to be my boot animation. I can't find a video anywhere that has it. I was wondering if someone could help me out. I guess I could bring up the game in the computer through emulation, but I would still not know how to extract the video into individual png files to put into a boot animation folder. I have the audio that I want just wondering how to get the pictures. Thanks

i can remove the logo from the black ones but doesnt remove so well from the static(its barely there ) give this a try

i have one that i made for the evo 3d give me a few to resize the frames.
looks like this starts around 50 seconds runs the logo as a loop(kinda like the clip)

I'm assuming that flashing works, however I just just pulled the boot animation file and put it in the system media folder with root explorer. I have the "welcome to nba jam" intro playing when it boots up too. It's sweet. Thanks again man!

Get cm9? You really might think about spitting off suggestions like that. ICS is in its infantile stages for the Infuse. Suggesting someone going to a partially broken firmware to get a browser? Not the best answer.

Currently, from my understanding, is that Chrome only runs in an ics environment. The only way to use it would be to upgrade to the ics firmware. Now be careful, they just put up an alpha build in the ics thread found on general last night, but not everything is working. I would check it out and see if its worth it to you. The pluses of the browser, in my mind, would be negated by the minuses of the non working functions of Ics. But, the choice is yours. Good luck.

Try CM9. I is up to you however, but from my experince its worth it. Camera will be working very soon, jt fixed it but is finishing up the other stuff of the rom. IT is pretty quick, and runs nice. I am running chrome on it right now, and its ok. Some progress needs to be made, can be laggy. It is still in Beta. Sorry, porting it to ginger is not possible, you would pretty much have to create a whole new browser.

I use my camera daily (in the classroom, with children...) so no camera is a deal breaker for me. Plus, from my use on the Inspire, Chrome is not that great...but that's just my opinion.
Now i dont get it .....im running chrome right now on my infuse...is it a mock up copy or what ??? I got the apk from this forum.. i will try to post it in the morning

The one you are running I believe is fake. its a different browser that was made to look like chrome

Haha kind of like me. Except camera will work anytime now, so thats not as bad. Should have listened to dman and you, its good but doesnt need all the hype. And chrome... well me it sucks, load speeds are fast but it is just too laggy, not like the pc and mac counterparts.

Eh, it's probably slow on every device in Alpha. It's not worth having, but I recommend CM9 anyways. I have Chrome, but the default browser is faster. Chrome is sluggish.
I just wanted to let everyone know of the new (my favourite) root explorer which is currently in Beta but sporting a lot of fancy features. Coming soon is a holo theme to match this already beautiful app.

well, i got a suggestion for you (and please dont take it as rude or what not), the whole JUST adding letters to an image is not working so good in this case. You need to try to match the letters or whatever you are adding to the image colors. A few examples, then assasins creen image is hot, but the purple letters look out of place, maybe match then to the colors of the background, and add a shadow that matches with the lighter/brighter color. Another example will be to make the androids on the girls a bit smaller and match their outfits, and maybe a little soft blurring on the edges so it looks like a real tattoo. Either way, most of this look real good, just need a light touch up Thanks for sharing!
EDIT: here is a quick example of keeping the color scheme, hope it gives you ideas
