[Q] Moto g on sprint - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking to get my mom on a framily group on sprint but when I went to look at the phones available I didn't see the moto g. This would be the perfect phone for her because she wont be doing much on it. Anyone know if there is a moto g compatible with the sprint network. I guess my next question would be is there anything like the moto g(droid mini, razr i) that would work on the sprint network.

[Q] Verizon Moto G on Page Plus?

I want to flash the Moto G and put it on Page Plus. I'm a Page Plus dealer so adding it into the system isn't the problem. I read somewhere that you will have to wait 6 months before it could be activated on PP. Does anyone know for SURE that this is the case or not? Thanks!

The Boost Mobile Moto G can be flashed to Page Plus, but Verizon esns are locked out, the usage agreement says it's for six months. My six months are up in August, so I won't know for sure until then.

Straight Talk Moto G

I was looking at phones for ST and noticed they now have the Moto G and it has 4G
Code:
http://www.shopstraighttalk.com/bpdirect/straighttalk/PhoneDetails.do?action=view&productVariantExtensionId=30063920
The product page doesn't give a lot of the specs and I was wondering if anyone has one or knows some more details on it.

Moto g parts

I have a moto g unlocked that has a cracked screen. I was wondering if I could purchase a cheap boost mobile version of the moto g and switch out the screens. I don't see why that would not work, right?
Could I even just purchase a new boost mobile version of the moto g and just switch the motherboards?

Calling all DEVs Moto G CDMA (XT1028/31) variants CM12 issues

Hey guys & gals,
The CM Team started nightlies for the Moto G 1st gen (falcon) a while back and as before they were supposed to have multivariant support(to include XT1028/31). However this time the CDMA devices only have incoming calls and text and no data. We've posted in the official thread here to let the OP know of the issues and to let the maintainer for the falcon devices know. But there haven't been any official replies/announcements. So some of the code junkies who own the CDMA variants started a dedicated thread. You can find the thread here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3036120
The thread contains all logs, attempted fixes and theories to date. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Regards,
Chris

CDMA (Prepaid) is dead in the developing world. Just get gsm or gsm/cdma devices. I agree its absolutely ridiculous but its just how it is. I owned the boost moto g and ended up breaking it (hucked it across a room and onto the floor). but while i had it i told myself... look.. look at all these prepaid cdma devices. they are so cheap and plentiful but devs just dont like them.. i guess i will have to conform. Then i got a Moto G 2014 through consumer cellular.. It seems to be evened out in the non prepaid areas (cdma to gsm) but sprint prepaid mini companies just dont attract the attention that big guys like sprint, att, us cellular, and verizon do.
The short and simple. Buy a new phone (Unless you want to delve into development and work your brain out.. ALOT)

@CurbThePain Thanks for the post but...I'm already well into theming and development...I guess this news goes along with the coming Easter holiday because if CDMA development is dead then the Moto G just was resurrected, the CDMA data issue is solved for the Moto G CM12 as of this afternoon the code is being cleaned up as we speak. Not to mention the official soak test is well underway with an official 5.0.2 rom in the wild. I have a Nexus 5 and a Moto X 2nd Gen on T-Mobile, you shouldn't assume people just have one phone. ... I use my Boost phone for work so if I'm on a roof and it drops it won't cause a fit of rage or thoughts of suicide. Not to mention 45 bucks for 5GB of high-speed data on an MVNO subsidiary isn't bad. CDMA will be around till at least 2020 according to most articles released by the primary CDMA carriers.
Mods feel free to close this thread. Mission accomplished!

Wow...that's strange its one of the most developed for devices around. The 1st gen has official support for CM, AOSPA, PAC, Slim, Dirty Unicorns and almost all the major after market roms CDMA included. Has support for CWM standard and swipe, TWRP and Philz...I've actually enjoyed it.

WTF?!?!?! No Verizon Moto G 2015?!?!!?!

This really sucks. I wonder if there is any chance it will be released at a later date?
I don't understand why there can be a Moto X 2015 for Verizon but not a Moto G 2015?
i agree, i hate the new moto x, looks like a note. the g is just the right size
I was planning to get a Verizon moto G for my wife! Looks like I wont be able to do so.
