Hello everyone.
I was trying to flash new rom with CWM recovery today.I did wipe data factory reset, wipe cache partition and advanced/format system. After that
there was no option to go back to previous menu and i tried volume +power combinations and my tablet powered off. After this i tryed to boot into cwm with every button combination volume down+power, volume up+power etc.and couldnt boot into cwm recovery.Tablet just boots and freezes at green android picture. Please help me i dont know what to do.My tablet specs and pictures in this link www-tvstar-eu/mid710/
I tryed also installing android-sdk and doing these commands : adb reboot recovery, adb reboot bootloader and its no use system just boots upto android green logo and thats it.I cant do anything.I just need to enter CWM recovery again.
I installed cwm 4 on my sgr...
to enter recovery ... I pressed volume down plus home key....
bt I can't enter recovery .. it starts normally....
plz help... I need to flash su through cwm and also the secure kernel by dev ardatdat to prevent emmc bug...
VOL DOWN + HOME key is used to boot in download mode. VOL UP + HOME is used for recovery mode.
to boot in CWM u will have to press VOL UP + HOME key as soon as the galaxy r screen appears on boot, u will notice "booting anrdoid recovery....." written with very small fonts at top left corner of screen and CWM recovery will boot in few moments.
I will test n reply...thankz...
worked like a charm
one more ques...
my device passed emmc brickbug test....
so I dun need to flash the secure kernel by ardatdat...??? right??
none emmc brick bug related apps are designed for SGR or officially supported by their devs.
so its strongly recommended that u flash secure kernel first before performing wipes/factory reset/restoring nand backups,
got it... will do it...I have downloaded the kernel worth 7mb... can u shortly tell me in short how do I flash it....its in zip format should I flash via recovery or do I need to flash via odin...
m new to samsung... It was very easy for me in sony
flashing zip packages is same process in every android device.
all u have to do is.
place zip file u want to flash on sdcard
boot in CWM and choose install zip from sd card
navigate to file, choose it and flashing will start
I was on school and my phone was charging and i play on it and it shutdown and after i try to boot it it shows samsung logo for 1 second than repeat this for eternity.Help me it has no recovery,no charge only dmode, emergency dload mode.
Once u go in download mode (Volume down & Home & Power keys together), u will never able to access recovery mode (Home & Power keys together). So, u have to flash the stock firmware(preferably the one which u got pre-installed from factory/shop) via Odin v4.42. U can flash gingerbread & if phone bootloops then go in recovery mode(yes, u will have recovery mode after flashing via Odin v4.42) & wipe data/factory reset. In recovery mode use volume up/down keys to navigate up/down...Home key to select anything...& Back key to go to previous menu.
After wiping data(in recovery), select "reboot system now" to switch on the phone. I'm 99.9% sure that ur phone will be back to normal.
But if u r among 0.1% users & ur phone still doesn't show the home screen, then flash froyo firmware. Froyo has 4 files so, now, after flashing froyo via Odin v4.42, go to recovery again & wipe data, then reboot ur phone & it will be switched on...100% guaranteed.
Thing to notice is that, ur pc should be free from any software/hardware malfunctioning & u should know the correct procedure of flashing firmwares via Odin(for galaxy fit) & in case u don't, u can mention here...

Can you please give me the froyo firmware?
U can download firmwares at sammobile.com. Just create ur account & then u can download.
Btw what's ur country/region? & mention ur exact model no. coz some phones have 'i' or 'L' appended to GT-S5670 (like GT-S5670L). So, be extremely careful...
no is not fixed
I do what you said but is the same like the first time no boot no charge only download

I almost bricked my phone because of that stupid userdata.img inside the Twrp recovery
For 2 days I've been trying to install a rom with the twrp recovery, which always worked nice although a bit slow, but since the installed rom always had issues, this time I put not only the twrp recovery in flashboot, but also the userdata.img, which by the way there's no reference about it in any doc of the zip
As a result my phone didn't pass forward the coloured Leeco splash screen in chinese, (the one that cames before the twrp spashscreen).
I shut it down and put it on charge, but it didn't even seem to be charging! the red led was always on and the battery had no progress bar, just a 'sparkle' symbol. If that thing isn't even charging, how the hell would I enter fastboot?
Thankfully I got back the normal recovery and bootloader.
So, anyone reading, DO NOT flash userdata.img in fastboot!
